FEATURE 2233
For the library feature: would it be possible to include an N/A score or something similar? It would be nice to have the ability to not have to assign a rating if you don't want to (primarily whilst still reading/playing/watching something). |
FEATURE 2231The ability to create a "segment" from within a route - for example, extract a half mile uphill section within a 5 mile run that can then be used to create a session i.e. 3 x 0.5 mile uphill |
FEATURE 2230
Can you add Flow Rope to CrossFit please? Helps with posterior chain neuromuscular training for long distance breathing, posture, and wellbeing
|
FEATURE 2229
Swim sculling please. Good for core strength and swim teaching |
FEATURE 2228Sigh 8th Feb 2026Can you extend the 'future dates' of parkruns in the drop down list to more than 12 weeks, please? 6-12 months would be better.
Mrs Jigs (Luverlylegs) says: With Sigh on this one as I often like to plan ahead.
Sigh says: Thanks, Mrs J ![]() |
FEATURE 2227
In โMy Planโ, โSHOW PREVIOUS WEEKSโ should show the whole plan from day 0, not just the previous 4 weeks only. In week 10 of a 16 week plan, Iโd like to be able to see all previous 10 weeks of the plan in this view (not just in the general log v
Sale Runner says: Ran out of characters to say, โthank youโ !
Autumnleaves says: I use the plan all the time so this wouldn't work fir me. Rosehip says: like AL my plan is usually ongoing - an option to choose how many previous weeks to a reasonable maximum might work though |
FEATURE 2226PeterFay 4th Feb 2026When uploading photos, particularly on mobile with poor connection, it can be difficult to know whether upload has started. This can result in duplicates. Would it be possible to add indicator that upload has started eg disabling upload button. |
FEATURE 2225WayOfTheDodo 4th Feb 2026Could the Strength Workouts automatically update the Rep Tracker please to save us having to remember to do it separately. |
FEATURE 2224
Heat Map (which is great) - can you add the ability to right click on a line and 'open activity in a new tab', rather than just the normal click and opening the activity in the same tab. Which means having to re-load the whole heat map each time. |
FEATURE 2223Grid 2nd Feb 2026Ability to add a Strength Workout to an existing training entry. I start my watch when starting a workout so I have HR data for it in a training entry, and I'd like to be able to add my Strength Workout to this. |
FEATURE 2222lammo 27th Jan 2026Could we have some graphs related to each exercise in gym workouts to show progression, or not, over time please?
fetcheveryone says: Assuming you're looking at this page: fetcheveryone.com/gym-exercise-overview.php - you just need to click one of your exercises to see a chart.
Musashi says: I stopped using that feature and went back to entering details in text. Itโs easier. |
FEATURE 2221
On upload photo, also store the photo original file name (assuming using the Galley Upload process rather than a copy in a post) and display it on the photo page (maybe only to the owner) |
FEATURE 2219
Can you add a 'hide all years' button to the year on year graph? (https://www.fetcheveryone.com/training-summary-annualcomparison.php) There's a 'show all years' button. More of an issue the longer you've been here! |
FEATURE 2218
Please can we have a sticker book for โDogs and other petsโ of Fetchies. |
FEATURE 2217
Allow the ability to customise the Training Overview page. There are massive boxes on there that I don't use, and may never use. Would be good to be able to remove what is superfluous to your own needs on there.
Autumnleaves says: You can change the graphs that you see.
Dave W says: I know. But itโs the massive โTraining Load Analysisโ box and one about training plans that I want to be able to get rid of. Dave W says: I know. But itโs the massive โTraining Load Analysisโ box and one about training plans that I want to be able to get rid of. Dave W says: I know. But itโs the massive โTraining Load Analysisโ box and one about training plans that I want to be able to get rid of. Dave W says: Such a good idea I posted it twice ๐ fetcheveryone says: I like the idea, but this is not a short term thing. Will look at next time I update this page. Several things I want to do. |
FEATURE 2216alpenrose 19th Jan 2026Please may we have a "Go to..." box on the map on Squares please as we have on Fetchpoint and other maps. |
FEATURE 2215usc215 ๐ฉ๐ช 18th Jan 2026It would be great if there were a chart for the daily stats on steps, calories, RHR etc. ๐ |
FEATURE 2214
Can we get a new training category for Parkrun Run/Walk please? |
FEATURE 2211Morning Fetch, can we add a Gigs section to the reviewatron please? |
FEATURE 2210Oranj 14th Jan 2026When adding a new recipe to the recipes page fetcheveryone.com/recipes.php include a feature to add a photo so we can see how the recipe should turn out.
fetcheveryone says: Still waiting for someone to use it ๐
RunningRonnie says: didn't know about that page. Thanks! Autumnleaves says: Me neither! fetcheveryone says: Readers of my blog find out all sorts of things ![]() RunningRonnie says: I dabble in the blog. lol |
FEATURE 2209DaveG 14th Jan 2026It would be nice if Badges showed all others in that 'family' (i.e., 'run 75m in a month' enabled us to see all 'run X in a month' badges available). We can see our next one in Targets, but seeing all options would be nice for forward planning. |
FEATURE 2208CumbriAndy 13th Jan 2026May we please have a Fetchworld overlay for the route plotter. Naturally, this would involve automagically placing our tent (or the green blob) over the selected start point. |
FEATURE 2207
Fetchworld: the owner of a castle can rename it, the name then appears in all log messages about it (at least for you) |
FEATURE 2206
Fetchworld. Please remove the pop up, "Let's get started" etc.. I get that it's an unusual mechanic, but a 'larger than usual' button might relay the same info without every single user having to click past the pop up every time they visit the page
um says: I've no idea where or when this happens. Can you give a few more details?
Dry Raccoon says: It's for Fetchworld, I presume AndyS says: It's be handy to add the "use current location" option to the main change location page (https://www.fetcheveryone.com/fetchworld-move.php) |
FEATURE 2205All reviews of albums (and other reviewable things) to be aggregated by the thing being reviewed rather than by reviewer. E.g. allow a summary of, say, 'all reviews of this album' or 'other users who reviewed this album'. |
FEATURE 2204
Benchmarks - set the โGPS onlyโ / โrace results+GPSโ toggle to a โtoggle once and doneโ option. Iโd like mine to permanently show โrace results+GPSโ as my GPS read slightly short on two of my recent PBโs (done on officially measured ra |
FEATURE 2200
Can we have the ability to edit the exercise list on the rep counter like we do on the training log? For me, I will only use 3 of the current list so it would be nicer to just have those 3!
fetcheveryone says: You might want to consider switching to the workout builder - you can add whatever exercises you want, and record sets, reps and weights: fetcheveryone.com/gym.php
|
FEATURE 2199Salty Dog 31st Dec 2025On the same page as you annual training volume targets perhaps a list of a few non-volume type goals that can be checked off along the way. Eg "Do an 80 mile week", "Do every XC league race" blah blah...
compartmental says: Is this not covered by the Goals page?
Salty Dog says: If it's already somewhere I just haven't seen then that's great, thanks. Autumnleaves says: Is there still a goals page? fetcheveryone says: The goals page went away some time ago. Autumnleaves says: I thought so! compartmental says: Ah weird, I stumbled into it last week looking for targets which was why it was in my mind. Must be a legacy hold over ๐คท๐ผโโ๏ธ |
FEATURE 2198
When importing run from garmin (other watches may have similar) report the vo2 max figure, in the .fit file it is included to several decimal places. On the watch and in the garmin app it is only displayed it is only displayed as whole number |
FEATURE 2197
12 Days of Fetchmas - can we have an annual badge for completing this please?
57.5 Degrees of Pain says: A no from me. Having an annual badge for something like this or the FetchFestive160point934 that might aggravate injury if done at the wrong time isn't a good idea.
57.5 Degrees of Pain says: Though it could just run on without time limit like the run/walk, bike and swim virtual challenges. To be completed when you won't break. Angus Clydesdale says: Apparently thereโs annual badges for other activities. Fetchmas should be treated equally. um says: Also a no from me. There's some prizes I have no interest in, so would prefer to leave them for those who would appreciate them. (and not inflict re-drawing or other extra work on Fetch) Angus Clydesdale says: Er, you seem to be confused โumโ. This isnโt the advent calendar. Minnie Mad says: Saying you shouldnโt have a badge for completing a challenge is like saying no one should get prizes for races in case people run when they are injured.perhaps we should ban races as well. Iโm voting a big yes for this one and for all badges and chall Cheekyโs Dad says: While I love a badge , I also love that Fetchmas is low key and you can adapt the exercises to suit yourself & your abilities. Some things can just be for the taking part |
FEATURE 2196
When recording swimming, give the option of showing the swim by length, currently you can do by distances ie 25m, but not by length. I appreciate it's niche but I swim in a 50 yard pool and there is no way for me to view how long each length takes. |
FEATURE 2195Dry Raccoon 17th Dec 2025Notifications: only generate one notification per event, ie when further blog comments are made, say "5 new comments on x's blog" rather than 5 notifications
Pothunter says: I suspect that the way notifications are generated makes this somewhat tricky, but a good idea nonetheless!
HowFar? says: If you click one of the notifications to go to the blog, does that clear all notificatons linked to the same blog? I know that's the way it works for notifications you get about comments on your own blog. Dry Raccoon says: It does not, sadly. Flatlander says: This is similar to Feature Request 1633, and as good as that one. |
FEATURE 2191clare1976 10th Dec 2025A reaction type button for comments on blogs, forum posts etc So they can be acknowledged / thanked but without having to do a full post in response if all you want to say is 'thanks' or 'I agree'.
clare1976 says: (also training entry comments)
fetcheveryone says: My concern here is that distilling responses down to choice of emoji may have a negative impact on interaction. I would rather encourage people to find the words to express what they mean. Cheekyโs Dad says: I agree with Fetch here. The temptation also becomes to react ๐ to every comment out of politeness which just ends up being meaningless |
FEATURE 2190
Points - How about a badge when you get to 100, 200, 300, ... Points. Or 250, 500, 750... Might encourage others to find the hills.
Fragile Do Not Bend says: Is this for one of the games?
fetcheveryone says: For this one: fetcheveryone.com/points.php |
FEATURE 2187
In Fetchworld have a button to show the update map location message (current/choose/leave as-is) - it doesnโt always show, so I end up refreshing the page and switching between pages to try to trigger it showing.
DaveG says: Having this instead of the pop-up every time would be great. I can see why the pop-up is good for new players, but it feels like it's not needed for me now.
RunRuss says: When the page does NOT show the choose dialogue, if you can see the address bar it will show as fetcheveryone.com/fetchworld.php?location=set If you can edit it to delete then "?location=set" part then the page will load with the dialogue show |
FEATURE 2186Jen HB 7th Dec 2025New badge suggestion for next year: an x number steps each month for the year (eg 300,000...)
Sam Jelfs says: Is step count synced from Garmin etc, or something people would have to input manually (and honestly)?
Jen HB says: It's synced ftom garmin WayOfTheDodo says: Not unless we can start getting steps from other makes of watch too ๐! pedroscalls says: I'm with WayOfTheDodo, great idea but it would have to work with other watches etc. Sigh says: "95% of all watches used by Fetchies are Garmin" fetcheveryone.com/league-watches.php pedroscalls says: I'm in the 5% then, tis Apple here pedroscalls says: I'm in the 5% then, tis Apple here |
FEATURE 2185Festive advent calendar - default the account email address into the entry box (or have a button to add it in) instead of having to type it (and risk mistakes!) every day
DaveG says: This assumes the address we want companies to get is the same as our Fetch one. With Gmail you can add things in, so it filters things into folders. I'm adding '+running' to get a mailing list I can keep separate for when I want to see that stuff
Pothunter says: You can still choose a separate address, but the default would be your registered one Jen HB says: Surely your device remembers things like that when you start inputting? |
FEATURE 2183Cheekyโs Dad 3rd Dec 2025Following on from Request 2182 could we have fields for Steps, Hours & Cross on the Next Yearโs Targets page please? |
FEATURE 2182chunkywizard 3rd Dec 2025when setting your next year targets can we have a button to copy across the targets from this year without looking them up? fetcheveryone.com/training-targets-nextyear.php
chunkywizard says: actually, maybe put last years targets/ current estimate on the next year page so you know how you are doing would be better
Cheekyโs Dad says: The amended suggestion makes a bit more sense to me. I often change my target as the year goes on so a reminder of my target in Dec is not that helpful |
FEATURE 2177DrDan 26th Nov 2025Powervased colored training zones for cycles, especially virtual rides where speed is meaningless. Thanks!
Nellers says: Also for rowing please!
|
FEATURE 2176
When creating a new route can we have an option for Road Cycling that only allows the route to use proper roads, not tracks, footpaths etc.
fetcheveryone says: In theory, the 'Cycling' option when plotting a route should prefer roads to footpaths. It is somewhat beyond my control though.
Bright Strider says: By and large, I find it to work as intended. Sometimes, I have to switch it to path or manual because I took my bike the short way not the road way. martcole says: I didn't know i could plan a route of Fetch! Is this like the Apps Cycle.Travel or Garmin?? martcole says: Where do I find this planning of a route? K5 Gus says: Routes -> Plot a Route martcole says: Thank you! |
FEATURE 2175
In the strength workout page Would it be possible to sort the exercises alphabetically? I weight train three times a week with different sessions each day.
folkieboater says: or sort in the order you normaly do them?
WayOfTheDodo says: Ideally could we create 2 or 3 standard workouts which we could load in one click? Gus says: Not always in the same order depends on what bits of kit are free |
FEATURE 2174
On the age best page (fava.php), could it be possible to click on an age and see an all-time list of the best times at that age for everyone (i.e., I could compare my fastest 5k as a 48-year-old with everyone else's fastest when they were 48). |
FEATURE 2171
Lifetime & annual route count of: EG: route of a lap of your local park. This would give you the total amount of times you have completed the route. Maybe you can be reminded T-5 and be sure to reward 500 / 1000 laps with a cake at the cafe
Kieren says: Example route popular with cyclists and runners - Regent's Park London counter clockwise - fetcheveryone.com/routes-view.php?id=1880015
RunningRonnie says: Don't we already have that? When I look at my latest parkrun, it gives me 6th of 7 attempts. Similar for a home route that I do often. unsliced says: But if you do two laps, wouldn't that xth of y attempts refer to the two-lap effort not the xth and (x+1)the attempts? DaveG says: I like the part of giving us a notification that milestones are approaching. Kieren says: @RunningRonnie - we don't have the feature AFAIK. I have lapped my local park somewhere over 2000 times but Fetch counts less than 30 the last 3 years on the routes page fetcheveryone.com/training-routebest.php |
FEATURE 2170
In Horses could we be able to use commas to break up numbers when betting. "1,000,000" registers a bet of 1. "1000000" is needed, but easy to miscount how many 0's are being used. Being able to use either approach would be nice.
Mark J ๐ณ๐ฟ says: Totally. I get a bit number dislexic, especially when it come s to zeros. Bl00dy things.
|
FEATURE 2169
A shortcut to a "monthly streak graph/counter". Same as my last request but a monthly one. I am keen to keep a monthly one going and I'd like to be able to easily see it. I know I can work this out by looking at my log, but a button would be easier.
EvilPixie says: You can create your own shortcuts by clicking the โญ๏ธ icon
|
FEATURE 2168
A shortcut to a new "weekly streak graph/counter". As much as I admire the ones on daily streaks of ridiculous amounts, I can't/won't enter into a daily streak-a-thon. But I am keen to keep a weekly one going and I'd like to be able to easily see it. |
FEATURE 2166
Trader: Allow trading of shares valued against Fetchworld Players/Scores too. |
FEATURE 2165njosmith 3rd Nov 2025Flag for feature requests for fetch to indicate there is a future plan to implement in some way. This would support users to reallocate Yes votes. |
FEATURE 2163I'd love to see a place to record sleep, and to record calories in/out. Something simple like the Weight and BP page.
iaincr says: would be good if it coould pull info directly from Garmin connect sleep metric!
|
FEATURE 2162
I would love to be able to REPLY to specific blog comments, like on WhatsApp, where you can swipe to reply and you comment is then attached to what you are commenting on. Currently, I find it hard to track which comments replies are being made to |
FEATURE 2161Pothunter 27th Oct 2025Fetchpoint: add the ownerโs name to relay markers to make it easier to see if someone already has it, or if it is up for grabs. |
FEATURE 2160SJA 27th Oct 2025Add an iCal import feature to the training plans page. To allow easy import of a plan from such site as defy.org |
FEATURE 2159
Could we have a new category in the training log particularly under run but could be used for other activities Out and back does what it says on the tin out for so much time aim to return back with the same distance Being doing this for a few years |
FEATURE 2157
In forums could a square button (like those above) with same prompts replace first, previous, next, last or have less pages shown. On smart phones (and with large fingers) some pages are missed.
Honestmackem says: And being particularly sighted it is difficult to touch next rather than end
Honestmackem says: *partially sighted |
FEATURE 2155Dave W 23rd Oct 2025You can overlay your training maps for individual runs/walks/cycles with various things at the moment. Distance markers, conquercise zones etc. Could blue squares be added to the list?
Jenelopy says: I like this, but also reaslise that it might be misleading. I quite regulalry walk/run thourgh a little square but don't 'collect' it, presumably becasue I only crossed the corner and wasn't there long enough for my GPS to notice.
|
FEATURE 2154
When tagging someone on a forum thread, would it be an option for a list to appear of say five of your most recent or frequent tags? |
FEATURE 2153
Can we have a find me on the change location map in Rundle. |
FEATURE 2151Dry Raccoon 15th Oct 2025FetchWorld: please can we get a filter for the map to select different emoji to see (ie to filter out things that are less important to plan around like tents, saplings, and focus on important things like fire and zombies)
chunkywizard says: Yes please!
GimmeMedals says: That would be a good change. Dvorak says: I was thinking of that yesterday. AndyS says: This would be tremendously helpful - some of the emoji can be vey difficult to see against certain map features |
FEATURE 2149CumbriAndy 8th Oct 2025May we please have tiered badges for extensive fog clearance and/or points accumulation in Fetchworld
chuckles says: Maybe a F.I.D.O. badge for fog investigation and dispersal?
|
FEATURE 2148HappyG(rrr) 7th Oct 2025Hi Fetch, in the Training Entry e.g. fetcheveryone.com/t-24983699 could the Play on the map show a dot both on the map and on the Multigraph pls? (If drag on graph the dot moves on map, but not the other way. Or put a Play on the graph!) |
FEATURE 2147
Hi Fetch, in Training Entry page fetcheveryone.com/t-24983699 could the Multigraph please have the option for Time on the x-axis? If there are e.g. 10 mins of being stationary, the distance axis of course shows nothing. Thanks. G
|
FEATURE 2145Bright Strider 4th Oct 2025Fetchpoint: in the activity pane, I always wonder where the flowers 'stolen by others' were. Request: provide a report on where the picked flowers were, to simplify finding out.
cackleberry says: I'm sure it used to says 'user' picked your flowers in the activity list?
Bright Strider says: 'User' is who rather than where, though. Knowing where I could then see whose flowers are currently there. Perhaps that user picked the flowers of whoever it was who picked mine. I don't mind too much about who. |
FEATURE 2143
The 'Parkruns' page showing us our 50 closest is great. Could the same thing be done for distance (i.e., closest 50 HMs), with a link to the most recent version. This would be useful for planning races over a year.
Pothunter says: The Race Finder pretty much gives you this already. Just filter for radius and race distance
HappyG(rrr) says: I was going to make similar comment Dave - there is even a circle you can see in Race Finder? GDaveG says: 'All of 2024' misses new races; 'All of 2025' misses races without dates yet. Both miss races which ended in 2023 or earlier. A list would be neater and could include all. |
FEATURE 2140The Points page orders different categories by number you've collected - I'd prefer it to be ordered by the proportion collected (I'd much rather know I'd 80% of an interesting category than know I've got lots of trig points, but still a v small %)
Snoot says: Another idea would be to give you the option of how you would like it sorted so both the above are available?
Bright Strider says: As Snoot says. Display data in a table sortable by column. |
FEATURE 2139
On the parkrun reviews could there be the ability to add relevant photographs (features such as scenic views, not you and your mates). |
FEATURE 2137
When a castle is attacked in Fetchworld be able to click in activity feed to see which one it is. Currently see castle is attacked but if you have a few its hard to tell which one in play |
FEATURE 2136Could fetch addiction be enhanced to show things like current posting rate and position based on letโs say a rolling 12 months rather than of all time.
pedroscalls says: I can tell you your up and down this year Baz, posting numbers is something I try to do on the spreadsheet but not absolutely well.
|
FEATURE 2135
Training queue visibility. So can see where it is when not landed in games, training page et al
StuH says: I think I have seen this displayed, when there is a backlog
Spanners99 says: Fetch says its not. โชโซ Synge โชโซ says: Surely additional processes running would slow the training queue down? Bright Strider says: I do see โitems in queueโ on Fetchpoint. Bright Strider says: I do see โitems in queueโ on Fetchpoint. fetcheveryone says: It's inconsistently available. Training home page will show if your run is still in the main queue. Some games will show their own queues. |
FEATURE 2133unsliced 4th Sep 2025In FetchWorld could we save some favourite started spots (perhaps just list the last few starting squares) to save time when route planning. Most of my activities start from a short list of places, so having these saved would be appreciated.
GimmeMedals says: I also have a small number of regularly used start positions so this is a good idea.
|
FEATURE 2131stocksr 30th Aug 2025Add the ability to set the activity category , survey, hillyness, etc. On a route and have activities that match that route be updated to match. Both bulk edit when setting up and on import of a new run. Ideal for parkruns and for commutes. |
FEATURE 2129
Possibly an easier way to delete the squares that have been attained on Conquercise. At the moment I have to go into each one individually, for example if i wanted to log my flying I can, but then there is a lot of Conquercise squares to delete,
Bright Strider says: Does deleting the activity help? Also, bear in mind that Fetcheveryone is about physical exercise. Are your flights human powered? humanpoweredflight.co.uk
um says: Or maybe find a way to have activity flying excluded from the games? Gooner says: I don't think flying should be tracked by GPS or count as a physical activity any more than my daily commute in the car should. Dingbat says: Record the unwanted exercise as "other", then it won't be included in Conquercise but the GPS data etc remains TheGreatIWas says: What Dingbat says ITG ๐ฎ๐ธ says: could have an honesty button on entries: do not include in games |
FEATURE 2128
Any chance we could have an option to sort routes by โnumber of x runโ please? Or even better, display the โnumber of x runโ next to that route too? I noticed the other day that Iโd run a route 153 times. Iโd now love to see my full listโฆThx |
FEATURE 2125
Create some sort of converter that uses Tim Grose's parkrun difficulty table and *estimates* what your time might be on the "fastest" parkrun course (just for a bit of fun!) |
FEATURE 2124
When plotting a route can the elevation chart stay on until turned off? It also would be good to have the hills marked with heights/gradients (just like is shown on an activity after it is completed). Lastly it would be good to see descents as well.
fetcheveryone says: Tricky, because each time the chart is displayed, it's a call to a third-party system. That system is quota-based, so I have to pay if we go over a certain threshold.
fetcheveryone says: Also... please try to make feature requests for one thing at a time, rather than multiple. It's easier to vote for one thing than to agree with two out of three things. chunkywizard says: Sorry Fetch! So the ask is reduced to have the Elev buttton chunkywizard says: toggle on/off for the length of the activity. Bright Strider says: It might be possible to save the elevation data for the route, so that further calls are not needed. |
FEATURE 2121
On the new training load tool, from the graph and table, have a way to show the training entries for that day, where they exist, so if there is a fluctuation in the graph it is easy to see what activities may have impacted it. |
FEATURE 2120
In Benchmarks it would be nice if there was an option to 'use average pace' rather than having to delete times. When GPS goes weird it can produce stupid times. Using average pace for those would keep it in the list and make it reflect pace properly |
FEATURE 2118chunkywizard 5th Aug 2025Support metrics for skipping activities for the 31 day challenge here: fetcheveryone.com/forum/31-day-skipping-challenge-anyone-63751/ Garmin JumpRope app can support rpm, total reps, total rounds, jump time, reps/round and max streak |
FEATURE 2116
For swimming, add an option which compares your times for same distance, e.g I swim 80 lengths of a 20m pool each week and would like to know that the last swim was my Xth fastest of X00 and see it on a graph, like you do for runs based on GPS? |
FEATURE 2115sallykate 30th Jul 2025Swimming: I've just realised that my Garmin automatically records a rest when I break between laps or sets (yeah, I know...). When I import, the rests are included in the total time, giving an inaccurate 100m pace. Can rests be excluded?
KatieB says: Guggggyuygyyggugyyygy [remainder truncated by laughing moderator]
Diogenes says: I agree with Katie Nicholls595 says: Is that a quote from The Goonies? Diogenes says: I think someone nodded off on the keyboard |
FEATURE 2112RunningRonnie 29th Jul 2025Ability to compare two different saved routes, the same as you can with comparing two different training entries. Could see both routes overlayed on top of each other on the same map in different colours, giving the ability to see where they differ. |
FEATURE 2111Race > Your Races, in the Pos column, could percentages be listed to enable comparison of your finishing position between races, ie 25th out of 125 would display 20% for top 20% etc. This would enable comparison of performance over different terrain.
Bright Strider says: I see 'Pos O/G/C'. I can't see an explanation of what they are. Adding an explanation would also be an improvement.
HappyG(rrr) says: Overall, Gender, Category presumably. But yes labelling would be good. GCheekyโs Dad says: If you click on a past race in your list and then click โedit time & reviewโ ie where you input the times which will show on the page you mention, it is Lis fully explained- as G says Overall position, gender & age category Cheekyโs Dad says: Bright Strider says: Explaining at first use in the page where the term is used but unclear is good practice. A link to the explanation is better than nothing but unnecessarily complicated. Bright Strider says: Thanks for the picture, @Cheeky's Dad. I would abbreviate Finish Pos, Gender Pos, and Age Cat Pos to F, G, A. There is potential to improve the consistency here, whichever way Mr Fetch prefers. |
FEATURE 2106The cycling promotion website Love to Ride allows members to upload rides automatically from these sources: * Its own app * Str*v* * Map My Ride * Garmin Connect I propose that Fetch Everyone be a ride information source.
Bright Strider says: To find out more about Love to Ride, follow my recruitment link: lovetoride.net (Riding is awesome! Join Cycle September 2025 and letโs get more people enjoying the freedom of two wheels.)
Bright Strider says: Love to Ride is about encouraging activity, and so is FetchEveryone. They both gamify activity, but are not in competition. I think it would be good to provide LoveToRiders with FE as an alternative to Str*v*. Pothunter says: To get a ride into Fetch youโve probably used Garmin or the orange one already. Fetch doesnโt have a source app (unfortunately but understandably) so not sure this would add value to either site Bright Strider says: Yes. There are other makers of GPS devices though, and not everyone is on the orange one (I'm not). Arguably, it could be cheap advertising for FE. |
FEATURE 2105Make fetch part of the fediverse by making it a Wanderer server https://wanderer.to/. It's a natural move for an indie website.
WayOfTheDodo says: I donโt know enough of the pros and cons to have an opinion on this. Is this a technical hosting issue for fetch to consider?
Gooner says: I have no idea what this means. Drell says: It wouldn't change anything for existing users, but would make it more attractive to some new ones Drell says: And would also make it more visible to a whole community of people who might then be interested in using it. Drell says: The whole fediverse thing is an open source non-corporate alternative to enshittified mainstream social media Drell says: Which is why i thought it would be v aligned to Fetch. |
FEATURE 2104SpartanMyth 7th Jul 2025It would be useful for the line corresponding to the current year's annual training target (TrainโTargets) to be overlain on the Year on Year Tracker (training-summary-annualcomparison.php) |
FEATURE 2103I really like the annual proud letters, could we have a โgood luckโ letter thatโs automatically sent on race day morning? That way the racer potentially gets lots of positive vibes when needed.
Sigh says: Sounds good. Maybe a system notification to Fetchies who are also 'Friends', and only when it's been marked as a target race (i.e. PB/SB/CB Attempt)
HappyG(rrr) says: Good idea EP! GWayOfTheDodo says: I like the idea but perhaps have a way of excluding the monthly mile/5k virtual events so you donโt get the letter for these? geordiegirl says: Great idea riggys99 says: Lovey idea |
FEATURE 2099
When plotting a new route can we have a squares overlay please? fetcheveryone.com/game-squares.php |
FEATURE 2098Dave W 14th Jun 2025When your training has downloaded, and a map has been created, make it possible to have Conquercise zones permanently superimposed on the map, like it currently is for distance markers, instead of having to select it every time.
Bright Strider says: Perhaps have user-defined default settings for all of the options.
Snail says: Agree with Bright Strider |
FEATURE 2095I have a daily tally of circles since 2020 to measure progress but circles have changed to squares. Is there a way to get a csv or xls download of the cumulative squares by year for the last 5 years to save me manually looking them up please? |
FEATURE 2094
New badge, for Fetchpoint: award for scoring 2000 points or more in one day. |
FEATURE 2093cackleberry 9th Jun 2025Related to request 661 - could the kit list be broken into chunks? Separate sections for shoes, socks, swimsuit, whatever. For someone who doesn't have a lot of kit, I seem to have a long clumsy list!
K5 Gus says: See also 1691, I have asked to be able to categorise by shoes, bikes, clothing, tech, etc. Then within each category able to sort by mileage, or age, etc
AndyS says: In the meantime, my workaround is to prefix each chunk - so shoes are "S--Altra, S-Brooks" etc, bikes are "B-Gravel, B-Hybrid" and so on. It's a bit clunky, but it works(ish). |
FEATURE 2092Sarbear 7th Jun 2025Exclude segments recorded on the "Drill" setting from swim benchmarks. My times with fins are much faster and give very misleading benchmarks. I appreciate this is niche, but it will distort House Cup results for those enterd in swim matches.
westmoors says: You can delete benchmarks if you don't believe they are correct.
Sarbear says: @westmoors I have done this. But the format of my swim training means that I use fins every session, which means I'm deleting almost every benchmark. The import file distinguishes between swim and drill segments, so I'm wondering if there's scope to only |
FEATURE 2091
Conquercise: if a zone name contains the name of its owner, a tickbox to get notified when someone visits a zone |
FEATURE 2090
Fetchpoint. In the map used for training entries, the area-of-effect circle seen in the Fetchpoint layer for Fetchpoint objects is good. Make it an option for the map in Fetchpoint itself.
Bright Strider says: I'd be inclined to leave it on, so there may be a case for putting the option 'on' by default. It could be defined in settings, to avoid cluttering the map view with an extra toggle button.
|
FEATURE 2087Dry Raccoon 4th Jun 2025Conquercise - Your Map page: could a thin border be added to zones explored that day, so that routes can be planned to visit unexplored zones where possible? Perhaps the borders can match the activity type, or be multicoloured for super-active types? |
FEATURE 2085Please can a new run category be added: โpick upsโ.
Pothunter says: Probably worth using the tags feature for this
|
FEATURE 2084On the "Highest distance in a month" page, a drop-down entry for "current month" would be great โ it'd save me having to update my bookmarks each month (-:
Bright Strider says: Where I work, we use 'latest', which achieves the same result and is also more widely applicable.
|
FEATURE 2082
Add the ability to delete a post which is made, perhaps within a 30s window of posting only? (I'm sure this has been asked before, but I couldn't spot it) Simple errors made sometimes would be best corrected quickly (e.g. misused markup tag)
DaveG says: Having 'delete' means the message is removed but accessible by clicking a button that would be good. I agree about correcting tags and other benefits, but hiding posts can create confusion if arguments exist.
larkim says: Yep, I was only thinking of a very short term edit availability, definitely not the sort of tool that other forums might use to allow users to suppress their previous thoughts. Drell says: Yes, something like my current email client which when you click "send" says sending in 5..4..3..2..1.. 3M says: Something like WhatsApp's edit function. You get about 5 mins and an edited message is marked as such. Big_G says: There was an edit request but Fetch closed maybe 3 or 4 days ago because his policy is to not allow editing. I presume this is the same for deletion. larkim says: Yep, I saw that feature request fail his test on policy grounds. I might disagree that that's a solid policy but as always at least I can be confident it's been considered! Bright Strider says: A solution that satisfies all concerns might be to allow deletion of requests that have not been voted on, if the page has not been viewed in the last five minutes (to mitigate unsynched voting issues.) Bright Strider says: Relatedly, feature requesters can close their requests. They can then submit new, improved ones. So, arguably, the technology is already there. Drafting a request is possible, but life is short, isn't it.. paul the builder says: They're talking about *forum* posts. Bright Strider says: Thanks for clarifying, @paul the builder. larkim says: Yep, thanks PtB. Rapid forum correction is what I was asking for. fetcheveryone says: Maybe rapidly check your post before submitting it ;-P larkim says: LOL, I'm an impetuous soul at heart |
FEATURE 2080
Badges: I request that the badges that do not need to be year specific are changed to not be. For example: the longest journey badge fetcheveryone.com/badge.php?bid=651
RunningRonnie says: but, that is year specific isn't it? It was for the virtual challenge in 2022.
Bright Strider says: Quite right, yes, and that point is the point I am making. But, the longest journey badge could apply to any of the virtual challenges. The title does not mention 2022, and the text doesn't specify the activity. If the text did not say 2022, it would appl Bright Strider says: ... apply to all virtual challenges. At the moment, it appears in the next badge list, but is unachievable. Another approach is to remove unachievable badges from the list. However, derestricting badges that don't have to be time-restricted seems more con Bright Strider says: ... constructive to me. Bright Strider says: Mr Fetch has explained that allowing editing of requests to make them clearer could lead to people having voted for something that then changed. Which is not intended, but could happen. I hope I have clarified what I meant in this request. Do ask if it is Bright Strider says: ... not clear. |
FEATURE 2073
Is it possible to allow those without Garmin's to complete an Orienteering course by manually adding a route. Would like to do routes and consider creating some, but haven't got GPS so unable to take part.
Bright Strider says: Is this a feature request or a question? You could try making a course/route and then creating an activity from it. Also, Wahoo offers a free smartphone app that records GPS traces.
LanaD says: a request - not everyone has equipment, or enough space on their phones/tablets to download apps - me included Dry Raccoon says: Not taking anything away from your request, but Wahoo is decent and a very small download (only 289MB on my Android phone) Bright Strider says: There is also the approach of creating a route and then making an activity based on that route. |
FEATURE 2072DaveG 7th May 2025In Horses, it would be nice if there was a 'refund punters' button if someone did 98% of the distance and the prediction time beat the benchmark. Punters wouldn't win money if the GPS was a little short, but wouldn't lose them either. |
FEATURE 2071K5 Gus 7th May 2025Ability to see breakdown on kit used over a user-defined period (might be annual, or a training block leading up to a race). Minimum list how many miles for each piece of kit, but if that could be broken down further by activity type then great |
FEATURE 2069If you have more than 1 club membership, could you have the option to decide what order they are listed in (so that you can list your 1st claim club first) rather than having them in alphabetical order.
StuH says: Not bothered about reordering them all, but having 1st claim first would be good.
|
FEATURE 2066If the house cup is to be a regular thing, include 400m as a distance on Fetch infographics |
FEATURE 2065The league table for rowing is based on Cross - Indoor rowing. Would it be possible to have it based on both Indoor rowing and rowing, thus covering indoor and on the water rowing. Or can it only be based on one activity?
Nellers says: It already includes several categories of INdoor rowing (SS, TT, Int, Drills, General etc) so I think technically it's possible, but we're pretty niche so it's going to be a while before it gets tot he front of Fetch's queue I expect.
|
FEATURE 2064Site safety - ie the new 'external link' warning and key click. Can we have an option to opt out, ie grant Fetch permission to re-direct us without the warning. Or maybe a pool of 'safe' sites, eg @bbc.co.uk, @rightmove.co.uk, top 10-20 of redirects?
Cheekyโs Dad says: Iโve never understood the need for these except as arse-covering (sorry to be blunt) for the site. It always seems obvious that itโs an external link. Am i missing something?
Bright Strider says: Or auto add 'external link' to the link name. |
FEATURE 2063
In Training Log, calendar view, show the amount of time spent cross-training instead of the total time training. You would see miles trained separately for the all disciplines, plus time spent cross-training. The current view doesn't show that.
Dave W says: No! No! Three people say No! Whyever not?
![]() paul the builder says: I see it (X-training time) in the weekly total at the end of the row. paul the builder says: Re: No! No! - would it mean the loss of the distance of the X-training? Dave W says: I donโt know but I hope it wouldnโt. None of my xtraining involves moving off the spot so mileage is of no use whatsoever. And the time is the total amount training not just the cross training time. Autumnleaves says: Some of us have spent ages getting the total training time showing as a thing!! Dave W says: So leave it there. But cross training is one of the big subsets and the vast majority of cross training doesnโt involve going anywhere so mileage is not an indicator for it. I think that time spent doing it is. monki says: This would also be helpful to create a Cross Training time target. At present it's total exercise time, which I'm not that fussed about. I do care about how much time I spent rowing, or circuits or whatever |
FEATURE 2062
On the benchmarks page fetcheveryone.com/benchmark.php add a one click filter to display "house cup" benchmarks only in a single view. |
FEATURE 2061
Ability to start a training plan in the past. I've found a plan I like the look of and want to start today. If I select start from today, the first run is in 2 days time, so I need to start in 5 days instead.
larkim says: Can't you do that by selecting the "end on" option rather than the "start on"?
|
FEATURE 2060Dave W 24th Apr 2025On the Training Overview page, add steps to the banner where the run/bike/swim/cross stats are, in the same format. total for month where you are in the league total for year where that puts you in the league. As opposed to a snapshot of the day. |
FEATURE 2057For the virtual monthly mile, would it be possible to change the date of the "race"? It's on the 1st of the month but would be good to be able to change it to the date you actually do it.
fetcheveryone says: Unfortunately there's no provision in the database for a race that happens on different days for different people. This is unlikely, sorry.
Sombrero says: No problem at all, not a big issue at all ![]() Ocelot Spleens says: It is a slight one though, still that's how the cookie crumbles. johnsy says: Can a race have a from and to date. That way we can say we have done it, without necessarily having a different date for each person. |
FEATURE 2054Please add option for having both participated & volunteered at a Parkrun in race log entry. E.g. today I ran then helped bar code scan but have had to choose to record this as one or the other, not possible to show both.
fetcheveryone says: Unfortunately, this would not fit easily into the software architecture - this is unlikely, sorry.
rhb says: Next time you are lying awake thinking of completely rebuilding the site from scratch please remember this feature request ๐ rhb says: Thanks for explaining though, in all seriousness. ๐ HappyG(rrr) says: Could this not be achieved by having an option called "Participated & Volunteered"? Not ideal, but avoids having to create a new data structure to accommodate two statuses for a single event? fetcheveryone says: That opens up a bunch of different permutations - it could get very messy. rhb says: Prompting thoughts... Would there be scope to allow the same parkrun on the same date to be added to the users race portfolio twice? Or have a weekly generic "Parkrun volunteer" dummy event folks could add to race portfolio to allow this to be recorded. rhb says: Another option might be to duplicate the race portfolio system and host volunteering within a separate portfolio. rhb says: ^ by which I mean the duplicated race portfolio system is rebadged as volunteering for this purpose. |
FEATURE 2053
When looking at your attempts on this route, and itโs a bike ride, maybe it should be speed rather than pace showing?
Bowman ๐ธ๐ช says: Ie, I have metric. And then I want it to be km/h, and not min/km
AndyS says: Or both... Bowman ๐ธ๐ช says: Sure ![]() Bowman ๐ธ๐ช says: Pretty please add this fetch :), I canโt really use min/km and get something out of it when biking ![]() Bowman ๐ธ๐ช says: Canโt you add this fetch? Now itโs like going out with a car and get the speed readings in parsec per light year, or honoring walking and get knots/month :D Bowman ๐ธ๐ช says: *going out walking |
FEATURE 2051
Is it possible to display the hillscore or ascent/descent information when plotting a new route?
fetcheveryone says: You can press the 'elev' button to get a snapshot of the elevation whilst plotting.
EvilPixie says: But thatโs just a picture isnโt it? Iโd like to see eg hillscore 11 then I know itโs comparable to another run Autumnleaves says: I think hillscores are personal as they're based on data from your device? Mr AL & I have different scores for the same routes. Gooner says: Hillscores are still a bit random anyway. I can get different hillscores on the same route, and I don't just mean a little off either. GPS for elevation data isn't the most reliable it seems. EvilPixie says: Ok maybe not hill score but data! Gooner says: I wouldn't mind a total ascent & descent for a plotted route when checking the elevation though, to give some context to the graphic. EvilPixie says: ๐ Cheekyโs Dad says: Iโm a โmehโ because Iโm not sure how it would work. I do agree in theory that it would be good info to have, if it could be reliable Gooner says: In the same way as when you've saved the course you can see a total ascent and descent, just seeing it before you commit to saving EvilPixie says: That! See if you can see before you can amend the course EvilPixie says: That! See if you can see before you can amend the course EvilPixie says: That! FEATURE 2045Bright Strider 2nd Apr 2025Fetchpoint relay symbols. The relay symbol to show which direction the relay is set to go in. The symbol could be a compass with the needle pointing in that direction.
MsG says: The East relay is Lost At Sea
Bright Strider says: That one is lost on me, I'm afraid, MSG. Bright Strider says: I was wondering if a compass was appropriate; the needle points to magnetic north, of course. Perhaps the symbol should be not so much a compass with a magnetised needle, as a compass dial with an arrow. MsG says: Oh sorry I got mixed up with the Relay fetcheveryone.com/relay didn't notice it's the Fetchpoint relay,.sorry. Bright Strider says: No problem. I did not know about those relays. Yes, not much more to do with the east relay. Perhaps cycle through the Channel Tunnel. Bright Strider says: No problem. I did not know about those relays. Yes, not much more to do with the east relay. Perhaps cycle through the Channel Tunnel. MsG says: I checked on the East Relay last year and it's not under the rock where I left it so I suspect it has been swept out to sea. Bright Strider says: Eastwards, hopefully. Perhaps, it is time for a new relay. |
FEATURE 2044

Historical Garmin Health stats to be imported into Fetch so we don't have to view the data in the Connect App. I'd like it for weight especially, but step count would be cool as well.
StuH says: If a direct import is too difficult, it would be great to be able to import weight data from csv downloaded from Connect
chunkywizard says: this is a dup request I believe, let me see if I can find the other chunkywizard says: whoops, it isn't a dup, I forgot I entered this myself! Cheekyโs Dad says: Now you need to vote against it to complete the madness Chunkywizard ๐ HappyG(rrr) says: Think Fetch might already have got this working? Gooner says: Nope, my steps aren't on from before the league started. |
FEATURE 2039
Blood pressure readings recorded on the Garmin site to be imported directly into Fetch, please - save having to manually enter the information twice. (added as a feature request following fmail with Fetch re; new Garmin health data import function) |
FEATURE 2035
Add a 20 mile betting option to the Horses game. Prerequisite to have run the distance once or twice in the period to qualify.
Elsie Too says: In horses when you have set a distance to gold, have the gold automatically removed when that distance benchmark increases.
fetcheveryone says: Elsie - you need to add your comment as a request in its own right. fetcheveryone says: The reason I've not done this is because 20 milers are usually marathon training. So when the marathon comes, the 20 mile times probably frequently get beaten |
FEATURE 2034If you recruit someone, receive prompts to make them a buddy and follow them. |
FEATURE 2031For recurring races (eg annual or more frequently) on the same course add a race PB to the the listings. Not relevant for track but should apply to all other races? |
FEATURE 2027On one of the wava calculator pages, show a table of the equivalent results in wava terms over the 3 other WAVA tables. I know one can toggle between them now on the reverse calculator, but would just be nice to see them side by side. |
FEATURE 2026Provide more information on Future Events in Race Portfolio here: https://www.fetcheveryone.com/raceportfolio.php. One suggestion would be 'Prediction' but I think Pace and WAVA (based on prediction) would be good also. |
FEATURE 2024
I find the Centurions League very motivating. Could we have the option to see it in kms too please? Only a select few manage 200 miles a month, but I suspect 200 and 300 kms a month could be useful benchmarks for others too? |
FEATURE 2023Add the ability to add a standard combination "workout"(?) of reps on the trackers at one go e.g. 10pressups and 10situps etc. in one action. Rather than having to add each separately manually using the dropdowns. |
FEATURE 2021Split run the sum into two tables - one for imperial and the other metric. The default could be as it currently is, but with an additional button to filter out entries which met the criteria in km but not in miles. |
FEATURE 2018Could there be a โFind Meโ button (i.e. that centres the map on current location) in the Who Squares Wins location setting map please?
RunningRonnie says: yes please - especially when trying to set a new home area.
Bright Strider says: A Bright Strider says: Make โfind meโ a function shared by all maps. |
FEATURE 2016Pothunter 13th Feb 2025Menstrual cycle tracker (with necessary privacy controls) which cross-references with training effort and potentially training plans.
cackleberry says: Just had the same thought!
mk parkrun says: This is so needed. 'obviously' not by me, but it would be so useful for many fetchies |
FEATURE 2013
In Horses, there should also be a tab on the leaders page showing each player's highest ever total. I'll crash and burn at some point, so recording PBs in the game would be nice. |
FEATURE 2011
When using the 'Find Player' button in UTMOST can you use the same username matching code you use when adding users in forum with the 'Tag a User' functionality? This would make it much easier for 'difficult' names I can't spell or remember all of.
Bright Strider says: Ideally, make it a standard feature throughout the site.
|
FEATURE 2010Nelly 30th Jan 2025Could we have a triathlon version of "Do the right training" calculator? Use the power of the Fetch database to compare our current training against results others have achieved with similar training, or tell us training needed for a specific target.
Nelly says: Link to the (running version) of "Do the right training" calculator fetcheveryone.com/training-group.php
GlennR says: Good call, assuming there's enough data. |
FEATURE 2007In the race portfolio, when looking at past races there is an option to hide parkruns. Can we also have an option to hide tentative/volunteer/crew/organiser/DNS? I.e. confirmed participation only? I think DNFs should remain. |
FEATURE 2006
Add an option to the 'Your Attempts On This Route' page to set the minimum match percentage, so for example I can set to 95% to only show matches that are very similar. It would be nice if it could remember this option too. |
FEATURE 2005Ascent in an activity comes from watch. Previously this was taken from the map file. Barometric data is often mince due to changes in air pressure during activity. Could we see both watch and map based data and toggle to select the most credible? |
FEATURE 2001
When there is a session in your training plan and the workout is uploaded, an option to tie up the two, e.g. 'Is this your planned recovery run?' so that it doesn't end up with both the planned training and the actual session showing in the plan.
Autumnleaves says: I like the idea of having the option - as I like to see when I depart from the plan
HappyG(rrr) says: Think this has been asked for before - effectively tying them together. I'll try and find the request number. ![]() StuH says: I wouldn't want to lose sight of what I had planned versus what I actually did |
FEATURE 2000In Trader, there should be a 'buy everyone' button. This should allow you to then buy a 2nd share in people (then 3rd once all are owned twice). This would mean we still have to hunt out who is best value even when we have enough to buy everyone.
Pothunter says: This looks like 2 requests. Iโd like to buy a 2nd (or 3rd) share but donโt want a buy all button

FEATURE 1999
Add a โcheck supporting servicesโ button, e.g., at the bottom of the home page, giving links to status pages of services Fetch uses, e.g., route-plotting, maps, Garmin/other activity uploaders, as a 1st-line check for suspected problems
NordRunner says: E.g., status.openrouteservice.org for routing
NordRunner says: downdetector.com For Garmin uploading NordRunner says: isitdownrightnow.com for Open Street maps Nelly says: Agreed, if it is just a link to the status pages, rather than linking to the data, this seems an easy win. |

Within one blogger's page, add a way to easily navigate 'up' one blog. I often read on catch-up, and so start (say) 6 days ago. When I get to the end of the 6-days-ago blog, and comments, I want to accurately get to the start of the 5-days-ago entry.
paul the builder says: (cont) This is just scrolling at the moment - which is fine on short blogs, but on ones with a ton of pictures in is tricky and tedious. Could have the "Blog Archive" calendar bit on the RHS floating so always visible?

FEATURE 1961Include separate WAVA scores for track races. One of my best age grade scores is for a track mile race. But it's wrong because track races have different tables to road races. The same applies to 5000m (and 10,000m) races of the track.
NordRunner says: Sounds reasonable, without having looked into it. It seems there are 2023 tables available now.
DrDan says: The track tables get updated much more regularly then the road tables as far as I know, DrDan says: The road factors are from 2020. The new 2023 factors are track and filed specific. howardgrubb.co.uk |

FEATURE 1904I would like to be able to not have to calculate โpauseโ on the watch as a part of the run. For a race I get it, but on a slow run where you have to stop here and there for some reason, it would be nice to be able to โtick a boxโ or something.
NordRunner says: I'm not sure I understand the point, but would it help to enable โautopauseโ on the watch?
Bowman ๐ธ๐ช says: No I think that does the same. I want it to not be calculated, as it gets here in fetch. Ie if you still for a wee for 1 min, that km will be calculated as 1 min slower. StuH says: It already does, doesn't it? Well on my yoga activity this morning it appears to.
usc215 ๐ฉ๐ช says: For example, if I add the distance manually after spinning, the graph is no longer visible... a way to switch would be optimal. Nellers says: Exactly what usc215 says. FEATURE 1900In Trader, can we have the option of 'save current runners' and 'buy all saved runners'. This would help when we've got a list of the same runners we're buying every day and make it a little quicker.
roberton says: The game is already playable by just buying everyone you can at the start of the day and selling them all at the end of the day. This feature would remove what little effort is left!
roberton says: Just to be clear, that comment is part of me voting "no" ![]() DaveG says: That's only true for the few people who can buy everyone. Perhaps limiting it to 10 'following' runners would avoid that, whilst letting us both daytrader and prioritise people. |

Race Day notifications. Can we have an flag of someone logging an activity on a day that they have a race in the calendar? Sometimes I have too many notifications to take notice of but i'd like not to miss their race efforts.
chunkywizard says: the flag could be something like *race day* after the notification , or a race Icon. As an extra enahncement, it would be great if only notifications matching the race distance were flagged
Bowman ๐ธ๐ช says: Nice one! Bright Strider says: At parkrun, my GPS results are often more than 5K, because I might run to the start and then run to hand in my token. So, race distance is not guaranteed to work. I suggest two categories of activity to opt in for: activity, race day activity HattrickG says: In the days when I parkran, Iused to save my warm-up and start a new activity on the "gun" and stopping it when crossing the finish line. This would give a figure over 5k, because I always started fairly far back, but was much appreciated by the number ch geordiegirl says: Be hard to pick up where an event is race day esp if looking at race distances only - but a good idea if we can make it work somehow. |
FEATURE 1881
When "splitting" or "trimming" an activity, facilitate some way of making the slider "snap" to key points (e.g. lap markers, mile markers), as those points will typically be the points at which a split or trim is intended / required.
Gooner says: In fairness, all of the things that I have ever trimmed are because I have forgotten to stop my watch before getting in the car so this would be the opposite of helpful for me
larkim says: I'm only suggesting making the snap an option (or an easier to snap to potential), no intent to prevent a split or trim at any point you fancy BareHeadEm says: Or if there is some way to snap to the point an activity dramatically changes... I've only ever trained when I've not stopped before getting in the car too! Fragile Do Not Bend says: Maybe it could flag up in a different colour the section where the pace dramatically changes |
FEATURE 1879On the new "watch" setting on the graph, can we have average tempo on those intervals?
fetcheveryone says: Whatโs average tempo?

Bowman ๐ธ๐ช says: meant ![]() fetcheveryone says: So average pace across all the efforts? Assuming you walk between efforts, you can find something like this in the Run/Walk breakdown. FEATURE 1875
Add weekly average and monthly average, maybe on the training overview top? So it becomes more of a daily dashboard you can look at. (Also average tempo and so on)
Bowman ๐ธ๐ช says: Distance is what I mean.

As an ultra runner, who also tracks mileage in my shoes, I'd like a way to split the use of shoes on a long race. Typical use case would be swapping shoes halfway through a race, so I would want to give both shoes their correct usage.
K5 Gus says: As a workround, you can add -ve adjustments to mileage on Edit Kit. ie add both pairs, then put -ve miles for what you did in pair 2 against pair 1, and vice versa. Hope that makes sense !

FEATURE 1855
Outing of the day: Route of the Day does not include pictures attached to an activity. One must save as a route and attach pics to that, which feels clunky for an outing through locations one might never repeat. Please merge and re-name.
fetcheveryone says: I'm not sure I understand this request, sorry.
NordRunner says: I'm saying that the only pictures that show up in Route of the Day are the ones attached to routes. It can lead to an artificial situation where one has an outing, then saves it as a one-off route purely to be able to attach a picture eligible for Route o NordRunner says: f the Day. It would be better to not require this artificiality by simply allowing pictures attached to outings to be eligible, and rename it ยซouting of the dayยป Gooner says: Basically, any activity with a picture attached to it counts as an entry to what is currently titled route of the day Gooner says: In order to stop one off routes being created, solely for the purpose of them getting on the ROTD radar MsG says: Yes, an activity photo of the day would be great. I've given up making new one off routes solely because I have a good photo as it's a faff geordiegirl says: I agree, I rarely do the photo of the day as its a bit of a faff, I used to think if I put a photo on a run that was all that was needed. |

In forum posts, automagically add a conversion every time someone posts a pace in min/miles or min/km to show the opposite. e.g. I write "...and I planned to run at 9:00min/mile" and replace with "...and I planned to run at 9:00min/mile (5:35/km)"
Bowman ๐ธ๐ช says: Omg Yes! That would be great!
![]() sparklecloud says: I lurk on some Reddit communities and they have a 'converter bot' for this purpose. It rarely works properly because of all the different permutations people can write figures in - 9:00min/mile, 9:00 min/mile, 9:00 min / mile, 9.00 min/mile, 9 min/mile, 9 sparklecloud says: ...min mile... etc, etc. These would all have to be accounted for. It would be nice though. Bright Strider says: We could have a ouse style to follow so that entries that follow the house style can be converted. Bright Strider says: House style. Oh, typo. Jen HB says: Or have a conversation box in the side bar? |
FEATURE 1849Add short text description field to activities. This field would be searchable by keyword. This would be separate from comments so it would hopefully not overload any search functionality. I'd find this very useful for track sessions.
JCB says: Does an ad hoc field work?
SPR says: An ad-hopc field wouldn't be searchable. fetcheveryone says: I think it would be far simpler to allow your existing notes to be searchable. HappyG(rrr) says: Search to look for training note, yes please! Grecrunner says: Voting Yes for the ability to search notes |
FEATURE 1846
In Trader, have a Buy All Runners button. Now there's badges for 500k & 1m points, buying every runner daily takes a while, so a buy all button like the sell all runners button would be great. |
FEATURE 1842
Show Buddies-only blog titles in the list of all blogs, as it used to be (or allow the author to choose whether or not others can be aware of the existence of their blog in order to request buddydom). |
FEATURE 1840
When comparing train entries, be able to move the start point of one or more entries so that the two that I am comparing match up geographically. eg; there's a particular trail I want to compare or I took a different route to get to the start.
Bright Strider says: Or, compare overlap.
|
FEATURE 1839Rep Tracker: there are so many exercises I can't track, but to keep the list short, could you please add a category "general" or "other Rep's"? |
FEATURE 1838
On Track Your Weight have two weight targets: one long term ("one day I want to weigh...") and one for an intermediate target ("the first step to achieving that will be a target of..."). This gives a short-term goal to aim at (and celebrate)
GimmeMedals says: Good idea.
|
FEATURE 1834I can't search with swedish letters, so i can't find some races and what not. Maybe that's something that can be mended?
fetcheveryone says: Until I can fix this, you could search for strings of letters that occur within the word e.g. "rnmillen" for Mjรถrnmilen
Bowman ๐ธ๐ช says: Ah ok, thanks |
FEATURE 1833
On the summer challenge map: as well as the virtual route, show one's actual recorded running/walking/cycling in appropriate colours on the map - i.e. an extract from the heat map.
Mr J says: What about splitting the challenge into walk and run rather than one run/walk (more badges!)
|
FEATURE 1829Well, you know how it's possible to set the 'resolution' of the Pace graph (smooth out the bumps)? I find this very useful for visualising my pace trends - I wondered if there would be a way to see the HR and Cadence graphs similarly. |
FEATURE 1827
Could you please add "Pacing" to the custom fields in "Your Training Log - Entries"?
fetcheveryone says: Do you mean as a subcategory of running e.g. ''Running - Long Run", "Running - Pacing"?
usc215 ๐ฉ๐ช says: no, at "Train - Your Log - Entries - Fields - Custom - Edit Fields" fetcheveryone says: Got it. Will be tricky in the short term, as it's calculated on the fly rather than stored. usc215 ๐ฉ๐ช says: Ah ok ... no problem, priority is low ![]() Jen HB says: Yes! FEATURE 1818
When browsing "all routes" have the ability to filter down based on category. For example; a drop down to choose from cycling, walking, running... A possible further step would be sub-categories; mountain biking, hiking, trail running...
Flatlander says: We have the option of categorising our own "Your Routes" like that, so perhaps it should be possible search "all routes" like that.

MabelMoonface says: Yes I think I'm actually reading less blogs now because the list gets overwhelming and I just delete all notifications
SPR says: Yeah same here. All notifications for the blogger (rightly) disappear when you click one, so there's no real benefit to having multiple. HappyG(rrr) says: I think if you add them manually as parkrun results they show up in some places e.g. UTMOST. Does that not work for the infographic gwowen?
Ggwowen says: No. As you say, they show up in some places -- like fetcheveryone.com/benchmark.php If I look at the benchmark there I see a 23:36 5k last weekend. On my infographic, its a 25:33 from a longer run. larkim says: I routinely edit the distance of my parkruns to 5k for consistency. FEATURE 1618faithfulred 20th Apr 2023A badge for running the same route 100+ times. Follow on badges could be 150X, 200X, etc. You could call it the 'unadventurous badge' or something like that I've just noticed that I've run one route 105 times!
Snoot says: Posssibly with a min distance or something though so itโs not just track session?
Jen HB says: Would you also exclude parkrun routes? chunkywizard says: I do like a badge and I would include parkrun in it (why not?). 1 mile minimum? |
FEATURE 1617
I'm obsessed with the pre race training analysis. Can we add a column "Hours (Including XT)" to capture cross training as well as running- this would help understand the impact of cross training especially where training was affected by injury
auburnette says: Cross training to include all non running activity that is logged - bike, walk, elliptical, swim etc etc
|
FEATURE 1614Some cycling power meters transmit power balance between left and right and that data is embedded in the ANT+/BLE data and displayed on, for example, Garmin Connect. If you could also add a display of that data to FE, that would be great. Thanks. |
FEATURE 1608E-MTB Electric Mountain Biking |
FEATURE 1607Can we have a new activity name for runs. Run - Fun tempo |
FEATURE 1593
Find a route - when the map brings up the routes marked by the circles, could there be a list on the side with name & distance, then when you hover over the name it highlights the route on the map? Quicker to select relevant routes.
fetcheveryone says: But... when you click one of the circles, it brings up this information. I'm confused
![]() Pegg says: I can narrow the choices to eg min 5 miles max 15 miles because I want a route that I can either just run, or amend to 10 miles and run. At the moment I have to click on each circle in turn to see how long the route is and where it goes. If there was a ta Pegg says: a list on the right with name, distance maybe hillscore too, then by hovering over the name it highlights the route on the map, I could just look at the relevant ones. And easier to remember which one I want to go back to rather than remembering which dot Pegg says: is 'the one' Jen HB says: This sounds similar to an old request of fine (ID 807 I think..) Pegg says: Also - when there are a lot of routes that start in one place it'll make it easier to find the one you want |
FEATURE 1591
On the Who Squares Wins map overlay, I'd love an indication of which squares are marked as "hit" by a specific activity. Then I could adjust my routes to avoid clipping the corner of a square without marking it visited.
fetcheveryone says: Do you mean the route plotting map? Or your training entries?
SpartanMyth says: I had many training entries in mind... One never knows how gps data will end up lining up with the underlying map... SpartanMyth says: I had many training entries in mind... One never knows how gps data will end up lining up with the underlying map... SpartanMyth says: My* chunkywizard says: Think I requested this in another feature request. Itโs a yes from me |
FEATURE 1586
Conquercise zones "split" between cyclists and runners and walkers - so you could be the "running" or bicycling" or "walking" owner, without having to directly compete with people in different exercise categories.
SpartanMyth says: Perhaps this would allow an associated map showing zones visited by each, rather than any, mode?
Bright Strider says: How would being able to upload zone photos work? 3M says: I guess the zones which are being update behind the scenes would have some kind of different tag - so a reference to a cycle zone would be different to a run zone - and the photo would be associated with the relevant zone tage Hertford Tiger says: So long as I can can still see all zones visited by whatever means on one map |
FEATURE 1579
Fetcheveryone Towels. To take swimming, to sunbathe on, or just to wander around the house in.
GimmeMedals says: Little ones to take to the gym as well, as big ones please.
AndyS says: Everyone should know where there Fetch towel is. Pegg says: A small one would be great for when you're on the treadmill Gooner says: A small (but bigger than those tiny flannel things) one would be good...maybe a big one too. RunningRonnie says: Wonder if a large microfiber towel would be good. |
FEATURE 1578
I love the benchmark feature esp to look at different time periods. fetcheveryone.com/benchmark.php?distance=10k&startdate=2016-02-13&category=R&unit=miles Could we have WAVA version too? Where does a recent run WAVA rank over X years?
Snail says: This would be great as takes time filtering training info. Alternatively being able to sort or filter the training information could help help get this information
|
FEATURE 1575
On the training plan, leave "today" as editable. Often I'll look at the plan for today/tomorrow etc and want to swap around, but I can't put the new "today" run on the plan and only changing tomorrow will distort the total mileage for the week.
fetcheveryone says: Today's entry in the plan appears at the top, with a 'do tomorrow' button.
larkim says: Yes, but if I want to do tomorrow's today I can't move it backwards. If that makes sense? fetcheveryone says: If you want to do tomorrow's today, how about deleting it from tomorrow, and then get on with it? ![]() larkim says: True, but often I'll have a thought at breakfast time and think about replanning stuff. And deleting tomorrow just feels inelegant!! |
FEATURE 1573
Setting Heart Rate Zones. Usually the critical thing about staying in a training zone is knowing the upper value... but on the tool you see the lower value in the colour-coded box. So my Zone 2 is 125+ whereas I really need to know it's <134 bpm.
fetcheveryone says: Which tool please?
StuH says: fetcheveryone.com/user-settings-heartrate.php For me z1 is set to 110+ and z2 is 121+, whereas in my head z1 is <121 and z2 <130 Bowman ๐ธ๐ช says: I agree, itโs kinda backwards in my head as well ![]() fetcheveryone says: It does rather break the system if the top of Z5 is by definition your HR Max. DrDan says: I thought that the top of Zone 5 is your maxHR? fetcheveryone says: Yes it is. DrDan says: So that's fine. Each zone is defined by it top HR, including Z5. NordRunner says: There is definitely something non-intuitive with setting the zones as they are shown now. Maybe it would suffice to change the appearance of the zones settin page so that it is clearer what number is the top of one zone and the bottom of the next one up. Bowman ๐ธ๐ช says: Agree DrDan says: Agree |
FEATURE 1567
A Nostalgia section of the site, to place memories, photos etc. of Fetch meet ups. E.g. I'd like a place to write memories of the Fetch team at Round Norfolk Relay, and have others who were there write theirs, add photos or links to results etc. |
FEATURE 1558I would like to be able to sort people on name or runned distance and what not, on my peoples page, people i follow. |
FEATURE 1552
Please can there be a badge for getting 10,000 blue circles in a year.
Dave W says: What game is that from?
GimmeMedals says: Itโs in the training log, on the Map tab roberton says: But just 10,000. +1 from me. But none for interim counts or for higher counts. roberton says: That was harmed from me! I meant to say +1 from me, but just the one badge as proposed. Simple. GimmeMedals says: I agree Roberto; we don't need lots of variations for this one. GimmeMedals says: (sorry the autocorrect changed your name!!) roberton says: (I am actually called Roberto so that's fine )Velociraptor says: I'd be perfectly happy for there to be interim badges too, since 10000 is quite a challenge unless you use a bicycle. chunkywizard says: More badges = more fun! Ocelot Spleens says: No. Badges. Keep this badge free. Rosehip says: Please can we have the squares instead that were talked about? |
FEATURE 1538Add possibility to have HR zones instead of pace zones on the yearly infographic.
Eawoman45 says: Yes please.
Eawoman45 says: Yes please. Eawoman45 says: Yes please. Bowman ๐ธ๐ช says: I would love to get this for the summarize of the full year soon. |

Bright Strider says: Would Zorbax65 please use Google Translate?
ZORBAX65 says: hi, it is possible to let out some data when in the YOUR LOG menu I select ALL... at the top there is space to put general totals of the km traveled and the general average and how many km I did on average per day, total races, and |
FEATURE 1520Somewhere to list outdoors volunteering activities
CBN says: For example this group is local to me and organise monthly kayak litter picks in the local canal: rageagainstrubbish.co.uk
HappyG(rrr) says: Love this one. ![]() HappyG(rrr) says: I'd say you can do this now by creating as an event and marking your participation as "Volunteer". New feature - see thread. GHappyG(rrr) says: Can this be closed or withdrawn now CBN? Or Fetch to close it? G |
FEATURE 1518
When adding a race to your portfolio, it would be nice for a training entry to appear in my plan of the same distance and type as the race. This could be a checkbox/dropdown enabled feature on the race-result-edit page. Helps keep totals tidy!
StuH says: If this is done, please exclude tentative races
Dillthedog says: Maybe have a checkbox for โinclude mileage in training planโ? Helegant says: ^^ What Dill says Bright Strider says: Sometimes the race course has to change, on the day. GPS tracking helps, in such cases. |
FEATURE 1510
Have somewhere to see all notifications, those that have been cleared as well as those that have not.
fetcheveryone says: These aren't currently stored anywhere.
ITG ๐ฎ๐ธ says: Could we store the last 3 days so they are easy to find again? ITG ๐ฎ๐ธ says: Could we store the last 3 days so they are easy to find again? |
FEATURE 1504On the little pop up info in the field with pace chart on an activity, it just says โheart rateโ, but is it an average until then, or average for the actual km you are pointing at? And if so, can I get an overall until that km you are pointing at to?
Bowman ๐ธ๐ช says: I basically quant to know what my average hr so far during that activity was. Not at that point or at that km but until that km.
fetcheveryone says: If you're talking about the graph that overlays the map - it's current heart rate. Bowman ๐ธ๐ช says: Ok, an average until the point you looking at would be nice. Gooner says: But I like knowing current HR at the point I look at... ๐คทโโ๏ธ Bowman ๐ธ๐ช says: yes but maybe two metrics is possible Bowman ๐ธ๐ช says: I still miss this feature. What average HR did I have at a certain point of a marathon. |
FEATURE 1501
The ability to see a training session on a Buddies training plan (ie future stuff) can only see historic session completed at the moment |
FEATURE 1498Would you consider a Fetch car sticker? The type that fit on the inside of the rear window, they'd be pretty cool!
Rosehip says: I have one, they were a thing. If youโre lucky Fetch might still have some?
Rosehip says: I have one, they were a thing. If youโre lucky Fetch might still have some? johntz says: Yes please! I'd pay the price of a coffee for one Flatlander says: Same as Rosehip, I had a Fetch sticker until I sold the car. Gooner says: I still have an unused one in a box but unfortunately it is reserved for my next car Gooner says: I still have an unused one in a box but unfortunately it is reserved for my next car Mandymoo says: If Fetch was interested in this I know someone who could probably do |
FEATURE 1494
A badge for finishing all three streams of the virtual challenge before it finishes |
FEATURE 1487auburnette 2nd Sep 2022Really like the Training Group feature to compare your training to others who achieved the same target. Is it possible to filter by sex as this affects the required training quite a bit? Age would also be good but sample sizes may become too small.
larkim says: Just out of interest, why does it affect the training? Surely for the same time goal both sexes would train the same way?
auburnette says: It's a function of the performance difference - e.g a 20 minute 5k is a significantly better (in WAVA terms) performance for a female than it is for a male, so likely requires a higher level of training to get there. As an individual and therefore not esp auburnette says: Oops, fat fingers. I meant to say: as an individual and therefore not an especially useful example, I have a male friend of the same age who I can beat when I'm training hard and he's not doing much, but as soon as he trains consistently he is significant auburnette says: ...ly faster than me again. Doing his training wouldn't help me achieve my goals even if we have the same target time because for me they are more of a stretch. tipsku says: Agreed, men and women don't respond to training in the same way. We already have the adjusted marathon calculator for men and women based on their HM time. I tend to train differently compared to my male team mates to achieve the same times. |
FEATURE 1485
Can I set my own bike uploads to ebike as standard? I currently change the category, but sometimes forget. - - - maybe related to kit?
GimmeMedals says: Also, I'd like to set my swimming upload to "pool" as a default
Angus Clydesdale says: Also, can we have default kit added to categories (eg my mountain bike kit defaults to Bike-MTB |
FEATURE 1484Can you give a little more room to the numbers on the different activities on the โpeople pageโ I donโt think you have to truncate the numbers that much? There is space to have them on one row. Even on the phone. |
FEATURE 1481I would like to see the potential total which could have been achieved in Trader, assuming perfect selling and buying. This would be fine as total mileage run by all tradable runners since the game began. |
FEATURE 1470bigleggy 11th Jul 2022I use the site daily. So how about a Habit Tracker to encourage good habits (see the Fetch Can forum thread) People trying to create/form better habits could track their progress the Site. Fetch could create badges to encourage people form new habits |
FEATURE 1466
Pace bands for cross-training? Obviously adjustable so can be matched by individual user to the particular type of cross training... (apologies if this is already an option but I can only see them for the Big Four activities.) |
FEATURE 1465Club: Race Standards per person per year It would be great to see what Race Standard each Club member has achieved in a particular year on the Club page (just encouraged my club to sign up to see what Race Standard they can achieve this year...)
srh says: like the recent redesign of the Club Bests page, would also be good if there was a "year" filter to select individual years
|
FEATURE 1464I would like to be able to re-sort and rename your own shortcuts. Just a "Nice to have" i know, but still
geordiegirl says: It would be nice to be able to move them around the list in order if preference
Bowman ๐ธ๐ช says: Yes! |
FEATURE 1463On yearly page with spark lines, kan we have an other graph with normal bars for all the years as well? Or is that somewhere else that i haven't found? |
FEATURE 1460
On the training graphs (which should also feed to race analyser), a chance to set your own x-axis, for heart rate (I want 100-180), and pace. At the moment it truncates too much e.g. much faster paces, and focusses on the middle
fetcheveryone says: Can you provide an example URL, so I know which graphs please?
boyband6666 says: fetcheveryone.com/training-home.php and see "Pace Percentages Run" for example, but heart rate also applies. Settings should also carry through for fetcheveryone.com/training-analysis-graphs.php boyband6666 says: A good place to put them would be fetcheveryone.com/training-controlpanel.php where you can set the number of weeks it looks over and the rolling average period. Having min/max HR and pace to show here would be 4 boxes, and coudl be auto, but HappyG(rrr) says: I also have training entries where the y axis goes wrong, doesn't seem to show the bottom especially. If I find one I'll send it as feedback Fetch? G |
FEATURE 1458Snail 17th Jun 2022To add Walking times to Utmost ie so becomes a combined "Walking and Running" set of times. Logic being for most makes little difference but for those who have walked distances that we haven't run, would recognise as our best time for that distance
ITG ๐ฎ๐ธ says: I think walking is best measured by distance, not time, unless you are proper speed-walking. Otherwise, too diff to monitor.
ITG ๐ฎ๐ธ says: E.g., if I am running late (often!) I will jog a bit in what is really a walk but it is still not a "walk-run" Snail says: Yes but that wouldn't matter as I'm not saying Utmost for just walking, I'm saying include walking combined with running. So if I haven't run a long distance but I have walked it, than I would at least get a time (admittedly quite a slow one) |
FEATURE 1457
Please could we have the training infographic, the one for an individual entry, in a more printer friendly format? The background on the current, otherwise fabulous, one is all black. |
FEATURE 1450
Add something so swimmers can keep track of their best times over distances in different strokes. I'd like to keep an eye on my back, breast, fly and IM times as well as front crawl. Those slow breast stroke PBs are still PBs |
FEATURE 1444Could we have the possibility to choose week to, on the Heart Rate Analysis page? |
FEATURE 1442Add rock climbing locations to the poi map fetcheveryone.com/poi.php |
FEATURE 1431Race subtitle Some races are part of a series, but move within that series eg Harborough 5 - shorturl.at/nouNX and shorturl.at/jrIRT - so they aren't grouped. A subtitle would allow the extra jnfo (series number) but still keep the group facility
Sigh says: I also think we need a second field for races like this; my request # 311 was for something similar (for the North Staffs league).
StuH says: Doesn't the description field fulfill this? e.g. fetcheveryone.com/races/ldwa-100-5234063 theOtherRichard says: Yes, Stu. It probably does. Or certainly could. I'm not sure it would address Sigh's searchability request, but it could be used to address sub-titling. Sigh says: The description field is also limited to 255 characters. Fizz :-) says: One day when Iโve got time Iโm going to โfixโ all those EMGP races and use the description. |
FEATURE 1427
Now that more people have joined UTMOST, there are more divisions. Can there be badges for promotions in the lower divisions as they currently start at Division 20 please.
fetcheveryone says: Although there are 27 divisions at present, there are 484 players...
fetcheveryone says: so once things settle down, there will be about 24 divisions... fetcheveryone says: Perhaps I'll introduce some more division badges when all the resetters have made their way up the table ![]() GimmeMedals says: Thank you ๐ westmoors says: But then we'll all have to reset again to get the lower badges ![]() fetcheveryone says: Well yes, exactly *cackles*GimmeMedals says: Has the game settled enough yet...? GimmeMedals says: Is it time yet? |
FEATURE 1425
In the Training Control Panel, add an option to have the graphs display for the current year. At the moment you can only pick the number of weeks, to 52 weeks in total. To keep the display from the beginning of the year I have to keep changing it. |
FEATURE 1422There are some races which I donโt want to appear in PB listings. Though just because I donโt, I appreciate other people might. It would be good if the user could choose whether they appear or not (rather than set at race level).
Akkers says: E.g: on holiday next month, I plan to do the Stroud Beer Race 7.2km. I donโt really want that appear this to appear in my bests because I will probably not return nor ever find a race of that distance again โ whereas I like to have the opportunity to
Akkers says: ...beat my PBs at some stage in the future. |
FEATURE 1420Could we have a graph over time that shows what UTMOST league we were in and when? |
FEATURE 1413
Can we please have some badges for paddleboarding and kayaking ๐ |
FEATURE 1407
In the training log graphs, which are great, but everything is about "weekly". Could there also be graphs included for "Monthly" totals? Just go with calendar months?
Dave W says: Sorry.. Rude of me.. "Please", "Thank you"..
fetcheveryone says: I like the idea, but this is not a short term thing. Will look at next time I update this page. Several things I want to do. |
FEATURE 1398Hello. Please could we have a pesterers and lazybones group again? Thank you
Ness says: Gets my vote!
RichHL says: Isn't there a thread for this? fetcheveryone says: Rich - yes, there's a thread, but the automation was based on groups, which are RIP. |
FEATURE 1385Would it be possible to dig into your journey on the virtual challenge, and be able to see all your stop points along the way? Thinking it might be fun to track your progress that way too. |
FEATURE 1381Add the ability somewhere to click on a "head to head against me" button to show races where a selected Fetchie has been in the same race as you.
Gobi says: You can do this on Run Britain
larkim says: And I do - just nicking their good idea on a more localised fetch basis HappyG(rrr) says: Quite fun looking at your Run Britain ranking head to head too. We could maybe do WAVA % head to head and stuff. Don't worry Fetch, I'll put it in as a separate feature request! Glarkim says: The only problem with RunBritain is that it doesn't display fetch aliases ๐คฃ and not everyone has a profile on there if they're not uka registered |
FEATURE 1376
Add possibility to use bold and cursive and so on to Training notes. |
FEATURE 1372
on swims can we have a moving time average pace? |
FEATURE 1369AndyS 3rd Mar 2022Conquercise: On the training entry screen, when the Conquercise grid is active, highlight which zones that activity has scored in.
chunkywizard says: I believe this is a dup and Fetch said they are now shown on the plot a route page.
AndyS says: Added at Fetch's request. I'd prefer not to have to save every training entry as a route, and the switch page, to see where it scores. |
FEATURE 1366
Badges - compare your badge list to another user, so you can see what they have that you don't and visa versa |
FEATURE 1363On the page year on year tracker, can you add, โxxx ahead last yearโ I know you can see on this day last year, but thought you can add more specific in the text. Cheers! |
FEATURE 1362Add ability to filter activities by recording device/watch - allows you to identify rogue data to be deleted when Garmin Connect syncs a friends activities onto your account. Other potential uses as well for people with multiple watches/devices. |
FEATURE 1361
Badges, instead of showing the first 30 claimants, show the last 30.
BareHeadEm says: I'd be interested in a toggle function, show one or the other
Jenelopy says: I like BarefootEm's toggle idea! |
FEATURE 1355Have a tool which shows at what point in previous years did I hit the distance I am currently on.
Bowman ๐ธ๐ช says: Canโt you see that in year on year graph?
|
FEATURE 1354
When using the quote function in the forums, retain the formatting of the original including spoiler tags, icons, and end of lines. |
FEATURE 1350Could it be possible to sync activities logged in Samsung Health directly to Fetch? |
FEATURE 1342I'd like a simple infographic which shows all-time total distance for a discipline, which I can use to share the achievement elsewhere (e.g. I reached 7000 running miles today); if it also had duration, elevation etc it would add a 'wow' factor. |
FEATURE 1336
Reduce the number of recent tags on the training pages. It fills half my screen and I certainly haven't used more than a few recently. Limit 10? Ta.
cackleberry says: I find the opposite, my less frequent tags disappear!
SPR says: Is this an issue because of the initial default auto tag? |
FEATURE 1331
My Routes - in addition to #1329. Can you add date added (or last done?) to the data displayed and also allow an option to sort by date?
SailorSteve says: Thereโs a list of when youโve done any of your routes at the bottom of each routeโs page which can be sorted by date or time taken. Not sure if this is what you mean um?
um says: Hi SS, No, I meant on the initial listing of all routes SailorSteve says: ๐ fetcheveryone says: This information isn't stored, so if this happens it would only be for future routes, not old ones. |
FEATURE 1330
On the training plan, be able to add events (eg being on holiday/going to a wedding) to help plan ahead and avoid long runs on days when there is a significant event that might affect training plans.
Bright Strider says: Synchronise with iOS or Android calendar, perhaps.
Sigh says: You can add "Cross-Other" or "Cross-Rest" and then add more detail in the description. GimmeMedals says: I've ended up doing that Sigh but had to add it for each day. To add an event that runs from xx to xx would be easier - like the IOS calendar. GimmeMedals says: Good idea, BS. EvilPixie says: Was about to ask this! GimmeMedals says: Please ๐ค:) larkim says: Just added this myself - will now withdraw it. Big support from me though! |
FEATURE 1325
Can we have a 'murky' in the precipitation section in Training ? |
FEATURE 1323
Suggest A Thread! On the Forum page - threads you might like. Based on threads you have contributed to, or just read (if Fetch keeps track of that), maybe making use of the "tags" - just bring "related threads" from some of the threads been on?
|
FEATURE 1322Add pressups, if they exist in the counter/user account, to infographics. |
FEATURE 1321Add pressups to your account as well add the counter, so you get the history saved.
Bowman ๐ธ๐ช says: *from the counter I meant.
|
FEATURE 1313A way to tag a whole thread (as in all the watchers) instead of having to tag everyone, or hope everyone sees it. This is with Fetchmas in mind especially
HappyG(rrr) says: This used to be possible through "Groups" You could send a message to everyone in the group? But maybe people Watch but wouldn't Join Group?
G |
FEATURE 1311
Make the Points of Interest map easier to locate, especially as it now features food/drink places as well as OWS locations. At the moment, you need to know to go to Train>Swim>Openwater to find it.
Alice the Camel says: Ah, just spotted itโs called The Breakfast Club on the Homepage! Doh!
|
FEATURE 1309
Can we have a โservices to the fetch communityโ badge or another way of recognising those who make a significant contribution. Iโm thinking of the likes of FlyingScotsman for giving us the 12 Days of Fetchmas, and those who organise secret Santa etc
halfpint says: Apologies if this already exists.
LindsD says: Yes! ITG for organising MOTM interviews LindsD says: Taggers HappyG(rrr) says: Isn't that sort of what MotM is for? I know some have already won it, but is there a need for "further recognition"? Hmmm. I suppose there's no harm in having lots of types of recognition. Celebrate success and contribution and all that? GITG ๐ฎ๐ธ says: Oh, Linds, I am honoured. |
FEATURE 1308Serendippily 16th Dec 2021As well as setting annual distance targets, could we set annual wava targets, ideally covering training and races, and different races, including 100, 400, 800, mile for the jingle milers? And a โbest week everโ wava version? That would be super
Sigh says: I like this, great idea!
GimmeMedals says: This is a great idea. GimmeMedals says: This is a great idea. |
FEATURE 1307
For yearly 'Targets', can we add 'Hours' please?
HappyG(rrr) says: Think there is a duplicate for this one (quite hard to find though. I'll have a search!)
GHappyG(rrr) says: FEATURE 432 Sigh Looking ahead to when we set our training targets for 2020, in addition to the options for Run / Bike / Swim / Walk, can we also have an option for "Hours" please? (Variant to Feat.#319) Possibly 2 duplicates!! GDave W says: Most X-trai ning doesn't involve miles, just time spent. I think this would be a good target to be able to set. |
FEATURE 1306
In training plans, the ability to drag a session that is in the past into the future, or at least view what the session was supposed to be. I sometimes miss a session and then can't go back to see what I had planned.
Lizzle says: Would also be good to be able to do the same for previous weeks. You currently can view only the currently week. So when you get to Monday you can't see the session you had planned for the previous day.
StuH says: You can't see it on Sunday either #1183 Rosehip says: A setting to allow a whole plan to be kept visible - user adjusted dates - would be wonderful ![]() HappyG(rrr) says: Yes, I think this is a duplicate - I requested effectively a combined calendar of Training Plan and Training Log, so you could mark planned things as done, or move a planned thing forward when missed etc. I'll try and find the FR if there is a duplicate. |
FEATURE 1297Call me a dinosaur ๐ฆ but I like the old front page, where our distance pbโs were down the left hand side screaming BEAT ME every time we visited Fetch. Can we have it back please? |
FEATURE 1289ZenTaoPlurp 25th Nov 2021The new forum mute button is fab. Reducing distraction helps. Ever opened Fetch, read a lot, closed it and realised, "I didn't log my training"? Mute buttons on the home page for 'Today's Most Popular blogs' and 'Visit our Forum' would be smashing.
ZenTaoPlurp says: Remember it's only a mute button - it's entirely optional, and your magnificent writings are only muted when people actively chose to: their choice. What's the point in having a mute button for certain forums if they then pop up again on the front page?
MsG says: Thanks that was my suggestion! fetcheveryone says: Threads that you've muted should no longer be appearing on the home page. quimby says: I would really like a mute person button too. So you don't see their blog posts in recent, you don't see their posts on any thread. |
FEATURE 1286
Yes we have shortcuts (and very handy they are too) but how about the ability to pin threads so they always appear at the top of the forum list? This would, for example, enable one to quickly update one's mince pie count. Maybe a max. of 5 per user?
um says: Why not use a shortcut Dio? Without a page number, eg fetcheveryone.com/forum/mince-pie-count-60607
StuH says: Or fetcheveryone.com/forum-watchlist.php Diogenes says: Um, I mentioned shortcuts in my post. If you are in the forum it still takes a couple of clicks to access a thread, as does searching or going through the Watchlist. Itโd just be another jewel in Fetchโs gilded crown of features ๐ Diogenes says: Also, itโs individual, like the mute function. HappyG(rrr) says: I was going to request a universal "pinned threads" section atop the Forum list - for Welcome to Fetch and other such "universal" threads? Separate feature request though. G |
FEATURE 1278The Eddington calculator - highest number for activity where completed X miles X times. Becomes static after a while, could add "Year" as an option to the calculator, so can compare the number from year to year (but still keep "lifetime" as choice) |
FEATURE 1277Snail 16th Nov 2021An additional column on the Benchmarks page showing "Furthest" ie would show Furthest distance achieved for that time period for that activity type? Eg Fetch's 40 mile cycle being longest in year/ever |
FEATURE 1258ChrisHB 21st Oct 2021Photo captions to be shown whenever a photo is included in a thread or blog or anywhere |
FEATURE 1257Salty Dog 20th Oct 2021A way of selecting multiple training entries in the log when editing kit choice retrospectively, rather than finding and changing each one individually. (Apologies if there's a way of doing this I haven't yet found) |
FEATURE 1251
A badge for running each day in a calendar year e.g. 2021. There are badges for numbers of days in a row, including 365, but it's a long stretch from 500 to 1000. |

Expand the "Clubs" to include other sports not just running - cycling, swimming, triathlon etc. - on the clubs page maybe have different colour pins on the map for different sports clubs
Bright Strider says: Yes. Find a club' leads to the clubs page, headlined 'Find a Running Club'. Making the page less specific would be an easy win.
Bright Strider says: E.g., change 'Running with others...' to 'Exercising with others...' Bright Strider says: E.g., change 'Running with others...' to 'Exercising with others...' Bright Strider says: More complicated would be checkboxes for clubs to indicate what they offer, and for Fetchies to use to search for a club. E.g., swim, cycle, and run for triathlon clubs; run and walk for parkrun (sort of a club). |
FEATURE 1244
Would it be possible to filter the Bike Pace By Gradient Summary by training type?
njosmith says: i meant bike training type (ie not a duplicate of 1243)
|
FEATURE 1237Stretch goals. Allow multiple goals for each activity and graph both. For instance I would really like to hit 1000 miles next year, but 700 is more realistic so Iโd like to be able to track both. |
FEATURE 1235Fetch Castle v2 - once someone completes the challenge, lock their finish position and date (& time), rather than keep moving around as miles get added |
FEATURE 1232
The Splits summary on the training log entry page is limited to 255 characters, this mostly isn't a problem - until it is. I'm trying to analyse ultra times and this is running out at 51km. Could you make it a little longer, please? |
FEATURE 1226
I can look at two runs in my training log, and do a slider to compare them. What about being able to look at race (training) entries for other people and doing a slider for them? (A bit like a
Sushi says: I don't like the idea of being compared against someone else. If this went ahead I'd want a way to block my training from being available for this without having to hide it completely. It's one of tge reasons I won't have a

FEATURE 1225
Fetchpoint: separate cycling/multisport (to include those who have both cycled and run in the last 30 days) and walking/running only onto two separate leader boards.
says: I think this is good. I am well aware I am only at the top of the board because I cycle. I would be at the very bottom just walking... Happy to be separated from the runners, as I cannot run!
โชโซ Synge โชโซ says: Iโll admit to not being active in this just now, but what if I just do one little ride to shops and all the rest is running, am I DQโd for a month? says: Good point Synge... Cheekyโs Dad says: As a non-cyclist it can seem a little strange that you plant flowers at the same rate on a bike when you can travel much further than you can on foot but then the same applies for running as compared with walking. I think, in the end, thatโs just the g Cheekyโs Dad says: โฆ thatโs just the game says: Cheeky, I think you are right... I walk and cycle but do not run for example. Would there then need to be a separate league for walkers as well? Cheekyโs Dad says: Indeed and (as pointed out above) how many people only do one thing? And then weโll have swimmers feeling left out. Nightmare! ๐ Initially I was all for it but now Iโm thinking probably best leave well alone says: Yes, same here! gwowen says: Maybe one leader board, but you can filter out people who log mores miles cycling than running? milemonster says: I love the idea of separation but think it should be done by a filter. So there's still one league but can be filtered for points picked up by a certain sport. But then what about bugs? Or maybe points picked up on a bike could be worth less? But then wha milemonster says: ... Thinking about the bugs, jewells etc in my neighbourhood; some are in tight spots so running is easier than cycling to get those! Overall though cycling is easier to get to the top. milemonster says: Maybe a solution is an opt in marker for your username to have a "primary sport" symbol next to it. E.g Milemonster ๐๐ปโโ๏ธ JCB says: One idea: select the type of fetchpointing you want. Full. Run only. Cycle only. Walk only. Then only the appropriate activities are used for fetchpointing. |
FEATURE 1205JCB 18th Sep 2021Trader game. Change the calculation period to be for the last 91 days (13 weeks) instead of 90. This would align better with most training, often on a weekly cycle. Should reduce volatility as weekly long runs wonโt skew the calculation (always 13). |
FEATURE 1202
On annual comparison (https://www.fetcheveryone.com/training-summary-annualcomparison.php) - a toggle that adds a simple linear extrapolation of this years distance to the year-end.
fetcheveryone says: Using the average since the start of the year would not be accurate if you had (say) a month off. So how many weeks of past data are included in the extrapolation?
njosmith says: 6 weeks |
FEATURE 1200
Some additional training categories for field events would be nice, along with somewhere to record distances and heights for throws and jumps.
RichHL says: At the moment I use tags for discus and shot and when I start to record distances I'll put them in the notes. It would be nice to be able to formalise these.

FEATURE 1197
Make it possible to 'replace' an image previously uploaded to the Gallery. That is, upload a new image with an existing code from your own photos. |
FEATURE 1192
Can training log mileage link to a training plan? I have a 10miler training plan but all runs (tempo, intervals) bar long run are done by time not mileage. Iโd find it really useful if the mileage I did each session linked across to my plan. |
FEATURE 1184If you do a Fetch Mile more than once on the same run (e.g if you are doing a multi lap event), the site shows the right number of attempts but it only shows the time for one attempt. Could this be fixed please?
Bright Strider says: The time is really for the PB record, surely? In which case, only your best time matters.
Fragile Do Not Bend says: I wanted to compare my time on each lap. Fragile Do Not Bend says: Iโve queried it with Fetch and the time displayed is for the first time the Fetch Mile is run, not the fast Bright Strider says: I see. Thanks, FDNB. |
FEATURE 1182
Automatically categorise runs/walks/cycles between two specified points as the subtype commute. Specifically I provide you with my home and work points, and any activity that starts at one and ends at the other is automatically a commute not general
DrDan says: Yes please. Commuters have to manually edit 10 posts per week.
Bright Strider says: I'd like this feature to be combined with an exemption from traffic lights in Fetchpoint, because you're actually lowering congestion while exercising. Being charged for doing two good things seems like a deterrent for both. |
FEATURE 1177
An opt-in prompt for aspiring blogadawers to let us know if we haven't posted a blog yet that day, either at a time of our choice or in the early evening.
geordiegirl says: That would have helped my blog streak
chunkywizard says: yep, I am always forgetting! MabelMoonface says: Yes that would have helped me not to forget! |
FEATURE 1148
As well as showing a "best ever" total for Fetchpoint, show a rolling 365 day best. A lot of best evers will be very hard targets, but 365 days bests can be more attainable.
Snail says: A graph of the last 365 days would be cool too
|
FEATURE 1136Trader: the ability to see who've you've bought/sold and how much profit/loss you made. Please, thank you โบ๏ธ
fetcheveryone says: Confused here. Doesn't the trader portfolio show all this?
Salty Dog says: like a 'trading history'? BareHeadEm says: Sorry Fetch, I mean after you've sold them... Like I bought ishep this morning, sold for 3 points, but I've also bought and SD others today, it would be interesting to see who earn me what points and what my profit per day is BareHeadEm says: Yes, a trading history! Much better more concise answer! |
FEATURE 113226th May 2021For Pool Swimming, calculatate fastest distances based on the recorded intervals - i.e. if I swim 5 x 400, look at the lap times to tell me my fastest 400, rather than taking a notional fastest 400. Sprint work is distorting my pace benchmarks. |
FEATURE 1130
Snooze function on watched Forum threads. For when you just need a break, but don't want to totally forget about the topic.
Fragile Do Not Bend says: Yes, or just a way to list threads that I want to find again but I donโt necessarily want to go back and read all the unread posts. Often I canโt remember exactly what the thread is called in order to find it via the search box
MsG says: Bookmark for threads? fetcheveryone says: What happens when you press snooze? Dry Raccoon says: Oh, it's been a while since I wrote this one An option to snooze for a day, week, or month, and after that ends it starts "watching" the thread again. |
FEATURE 1118
On the race portfolio/race prediction. Is it possible to have a window rather than one set time? I ran a marathon and predicted on a thread that results in the 4h to 4h15 window was most likely bearing in mind the course and my training? Result 4.03 |
FEATURE 1112
WSW: 1v1 in game chat
CBN says: How about the ability to send a big thumbs up when your opponent updates their score?
BareHeadEm says: As your current opponent, thought I should say hi! ๐ Also think this is a great idea, sometimes posts can get lost on the main forum thread unless you both happen to be online at the same time. iwaswill says: Shall we mark this feature as complete yeah I did like Crisps idea, some sort of small interaction to say hi / enourage but maybe chat is too much.iwaswill says: ...I better get planning my routes you are doing well Em. BareHeadEm says: I like the thumbs up idea, or maybe a series of a few emojis you can can pick from? |
FEATURE 1106
Game: Fetch of Duty, 1 runner is `F` game runs till F found out. Not sure on gamification, run for clues FP style? Run a shape to get a clue, WSW style? clues spell their name in way not easy to guess, 1 guess a week per runner, just an idea
Nightjar says: You need to sell this better!

FEATURE 1099
Can the altitude gain on the training log also be in feet. Get a bit fed up of having to convert from feet, which all my training devices give me it in, to metres. Thanks..
Bright Strider says: Or, set personal preference between imperial & metric.
Dave W says: Can only see where it says "Miles or Kilometres", and it's already set at miles. Please point me in the right direction if there is another way. Bowman ๐ธ๐ช says: If itโs wrong compared to your settings let fetch know and he will look at it Bowman ๐ธ๐ช says: If itโs wrong compared to your settings let fetch know and he will look at it |
FEATURE 1097
A badge for running in two countries in a single outing, also three. I suppose somewhere in the world, four is possible as well.
wolves1877 says: I did 9 in 24 hours once
ptr_runner says: Could be a badge for 2 / 3 / 4 countries in a single activity, another for multiple countries in a single day. |
FEATURE 1096In the Fetcheveryone Castle Challenge, would it be possible to show how many miles of running and not-running each participant has logged towards their total?
rhb says: I'm walking uphill, running downhill & flat. Minimal stops at aid stations. Standard Ultra strategy, shouldn't impact on results if miles are walked or run.
|
FEATURE 1094
Benchmarks: An easier way to delete multiple bogus results, such as "delete all [distance] less than [time]" (e.g. I have at least 20x1k under 4 minutes, which I'm never, ever going to get near - that's a *lot* of clicking)
Salty Dog says: Yep, like the time I Garmin tracked a flight back from Italy and it kept uploading over and over again every day even after deletion from Garmin account and hard reset of the watch. Took Fetch to step in and alter some of his coding. He's a star!
|
FEATURE 1078
Can we have a Newt badge for the daily winner of best Newt on the "Do a new thing for Spring" thread please? It is such a positive, stimulating thread. It would probably spread its reach ๐ |
FEATURE 1075
In our training log, can we have a private note section as well as a public (shared to friends) one?
Bowman ๐ธ๐ช says: Good one!

FEATURE 1073Hi, Can we get some summary plots of vertical kms run please? For anyone doing mountain marathons and ultras this would be useful. Thanks, DB
CumbriAndy says: See also request #615 - similar thought process?
|
FEATURE 1071I don't know how you do the Lurkers count on threads Fetch, but I'm interested in counting number of (unique) people active on a certain thread, each day. Not Watchers, not Lurkers, but Participants, if you will. Today, yesterday, week, year? G
|
FEATURE 1066RunningRonnie 17th Feb 2021If my time and route matches another fetchie's entry, then have a wee mention of that fetchie on my training log. "x ran with RunningRonnie." Possibly with an opt-in if deemed required. |
FEATURE 1064
On WSW could we see a record by activity that shows the number of squares visited and also could we see a summary for our opponent of the week as well (without publishing data that needs protected)
chunkywizard says: One of mt feature request was on each activity, when the WSW grid is overlaid, to highlight the squares that were passed through. This could be incorporated with that, ie to give you a count for those squares as well.
|
FEATURE 1063
On WSW could we get some graphs that show your progression in points and ranking over time and also compare to others either that you choose or lets say top 10 ,11-20 etc |
FEATURE 1062
Could we get a record of all of the previous WSW MultiPlayer finals scores and winners?
fetcheveryone says: I haven't stored them anywhere, sorry.
JCB says: I have some of them. (Maybe all) JCB says: Listed here amongst other things. I need to update it a little: fetcheveryone.com/forum/who-squares-wins-wsw-records-and-trivia-60896/ |
FEATURE 1060
Blogs - is it possible to have the default as Yes to the question "Notify me about further comments" because if you've commented on a blog, more often than not you'd like to see the other comments too after yours.
fetcheveryone says: Looks like notification is used about 50% of the time. So I might annoy the 50% who don't use it.
minardi says: Thanking you chunkywizard says: I'd agree on this. I'd like to always be notified of a comment on any thread I've commented on. Perhaps the 50% who don't use it might come to like it? ![]() Drell says: the usual reason I don't use it is because I forget to check it before hitting submit. Angus Clydesdale says: Please don't. Maybe allow people to set their own default? roberton says: If 50% of the time people actively choose to be notified, then the other 50% is a mixture of those who don't want to be and those who didn't remember or think to tick it. So by fetch's own data, the majority do want to be notified! โชโซ Synge โชโซ says: Iโm with chunky on this! Make that 50.01%. ๐ |
FEATURE 1059ctrl+i, ctrl+b, ctrl+u to work in Fetch like everywhere else to start or end italics/bold/underlining
fetcheveryone says: Actually, this is a Windows thing. On Macs it's Command+i, Command+b etc.
roberton says: Well alright, but the same point ![]() Cheekyโs Dad says: Would that not be really difficult to code if itโs a site thing not an is thing (says he not having the faintest clue what heโs talking about |
FEATURE 1057
A badge when you record an activity when its below freezing. Just got one from Garmin They called it the frosty badge so maybe you have to call it something else
Salty Dog says: The 'Brass Monkey' badge maybe?
westmoors says: Garmin pull in weather data for time and location. Not sure Fetch would want to do that. Night-owl says: Ah thanks didn't think of that NordRunner says: It would need to be colder than that ![]() |
FEATURE 1051NordRunner 2nd Feb 2021Training plan: add its name or origin in the title. When importing, its name or origin does not come along with the individual entries. It should, eg, to give a reminder of its philosophy, to allow re-import after editing errors |
FEATURE 1046
Could all photos in a thread be shown as thumbnails on the side bar (or any other simpler / better way of linking photos to threads?) It would automatically let you see all the Cats in Boxes (or all the cars and planes in the Modellers thread). G
Dry Raccoon says: You can pin the pictures you want to see, then view your pinned posts. Job done.
HappyG(rrr) says: Good idea JK, thanks. That's good for going back to, but going to a new thread with 1000 pages but just want to see the pics wouldn't work. But yeah, good suggestion, thanks. G |
FEATURE 1039MabelMoonface 17th Jan 2021Please could we get notifications for buddy only blogs. I keep missing the blogs as I don't get notified of them. Thank you
HappyG(rrr) says: I think I do get notified of buddy only. Is it poss that it's one that has changed to buddy only after writing or something? Maybe send it as a Feedbag/bug?
fetcheveryone says: If it's buddies only, and you're on the list, you should get a notification. fetcheveryone says: As Happy says, possibly written as private, then changed to buddies = no notification |
FEATURE 1037
Can we have a page or two for personal notes where we have personal odd targets that Fetch cannot support - to list the counties we've run in, for me to list the airfields I've run round. Just a .txt style thing, perhaps.
westmoors says: A personal scribble pad!
HappyG(rrr) says: What about using the Goals westmoors? I put stuff like "run a marathon on continental Europe" and things like that? ChrisHB says: I think Goals might be adequate. I'm "sure" I checked that out before making the suggestion. |
FEATURE 1036Fragile Do Not Bend 15th Jan 2021Option to have more than one mileage target for each type of training, say an A and a B target.
Velociraptor says: Yes! And I would like to be able to set mileage targets for periods other than a calendar year.
geordiegirl says: Iโd like this as I do have a target but also a stretch target be good to see how far off I would be. |
FEATURE 1034Can we have a report on the longevity of trainers? It would have to be quite granular, I'm afraid, as I used to get 2000 miles out of Wave Inspires but the current ones look as if they'll not make 700.
chunkywizard says: one persons worn out is another persons just bedded in. I do 800 miles in most of my pairs
|
FEATURE 1032
Hi - I am a handful of miles short of 13,000 miles badge. How about a 13,109 miles badge for 1000 half marathon distance?
Night-owl says: Great idea
westmoors says: I'm nearly there so would need it to be created quickly! NordRunner says: Could have a series of these: milliped badges. I would like to see a badge for 1000x marathon lifetime distance. |
FEATURE 1031sallykate 11th Jan 2021For importing Concept2 rowing sessions, include a link to the import site within the Add Training Manually box. |
FEATURE 1030
Regarding the forum search engine, if I search for Book Group there are dozens of returns and the main Book Group thread is often way down the list. Could it be tuned so that exact matches are listed first?
Diogenes says: (P.S. I now know that the quick way to find it is via my watch list, but this used to cause me much grief.)
HappyG(rrr) says: And my Feature 192 full Search capability would enable this by having order by option in the results, and saving personal searches etc See Fetch - you'd mop up so many feature requests by doing something with 192! G |
FEATURE 1026
Thoroughbred Badge, an increase of 100 in Trader (from as low as 30 odd I think). I have been ill/injured for the best part of 15 months.so similar badges for 200, 300, even up to 500 for keen newbies, or for people coming back like me.
Sigh says: Good idea!
westmoors says: I'm unlikely to get the thoroughbred let alone higher increases, but I've still voted yes! Ocelot Spleens says: yes, but one day, you might just have to have a break from running.... |
FEATURE 1025HappyG(rrr) 6th Jan 2021In the training log (list of entries) show a thumbnail of the route (yes, it's a bit like what the orange place does, soz) so that you can see, visually whether it was a loop, out and back, prob even recognise your common routes. Fanks! G
BareHeadEm says: Yes please!
Gooner says: I prefer the bare bones of the figures so if this does happen, can we please keep the ability not to see the route thumbnails |
FEATURE 1023As a means of tidying the site, please can we have the facility to delete cancelled events and races even if one or more people still have it in their race portfolios. This would save f-mails to other Fetchies and/or getting Fetch himself involved.
AndyS says: Or at least a way to mark them as cancelled
Garfield says: You (or the person who created it) can amend the title of the race to mention cancelled. โชโซ Synge โชโซ says: People may want to keep it in their portfolio as a record, for example if they've paid and haven't yet got a new date or chosen an event to transfer to. I don't think you should be able to delete a race that has participants. AndyS says: โชโซ Synge โชโซ makes an excellent point that I hadn't considered. fetcheveryone says: Changing the name would break the link between the event and other years... fetcheveryone says: ...but the race noticeboard is a good way of notifying others of a cancellation... fetcheveryone says: ...everyone listed gets a notification of a new notice board comment. |
FEATURE 1019
Please can you make it easy to set 700 miles target in equivalent km so the metric runners can appear in the table. This might also help for other areas of site which run off imperial eg fetch miles
TheGreatIWas says: You may already know this but you can nip to settings and change your units to miles, then set your 700 target and then immediately set your units back to KM. It's not super user friendly but not too much of a burden
![]() chunkywizard says: It would be nice to have it easier than the switch your units method, but itโs only once a year. Daddy Shark says: I can see rounding errors (or other conversion errors) being an issue. This could be solved by grouping tables with some tolerance, say, 2miles / 3km |
FEATURE 1018Spanners99 31st Dec 2020Could we have an anonymous heat map for bike, run, swim etc in an area. Be nice to see what our fetchies are logging. So like the map you see for your own training but for everyone.
chunkywizard says: You can get this on
fetcheveryone says: The individual map is now here: fetcheveryone.com/heatmap - just need to figure out how to cope with the bigger data version. Sam Jelfs says: Only thing I would say is that the small number of fetched outside the UK means that the heatmap becomes a bit less anonymous. The heat map around my area will basically just be my running and nothing else. |
FEATURE 1013CBN 29th Dec 2020Some way to tag the location of my pool (or gym) so that those all important cross-training sessions can count towards my WSW and Conquercise scores and I won't feel like I'm missing out on those days.
Eynsham Red says: I created a very short route for my swimming lessons and Pilates classes and just add that route into my logged training

FEATURE 1005
Have you thought about creating Garmin IQ apps? As a starter, just a FE logo watch face? But maybe a mileage log that bings when you've hit your goal target or any other Fetch target live by GPS? Games might be harder. G
chunkywizard says: I think you can yo any JG on a watch face by using FaceIt which is part of the CIQ app
StuH says: Could work well for Fetchpoint or WSW Pothunter says: Someone did try a WSW app. Canโt remember who... AndyS says: I was working on a WSW app, but put it on the back-burner due to a combination of tech issues and real life. Hoping to get some more work on it one day... geordiegirl says: Oh now I would love a fetch watch face esp if it told me stuff! Eynsham Red says: I might use my Garmin for everyday use if it had some Fetchiness about it. |

Training plan: Editing is much improved with dragging to copy sessions working well. I keep instinctively dragging sessions off the calendar to dump them and am disappointed they remain. Would be better than opening the edit window to select delete.
Autumnleaves says: I already move too many by accident when scrolling, I know I would delete by mistake!!

FEATURE 1001
Training plan: I was following a plan when the latest batch of improvements was made, now I am. I really REALLY miss being able to see my planned sessions on my log alongside recorded sessions. Any possibility this could be re-introduced?
Autumnleaves says: Would like the option for this.
HappyG(rrr) says: What I had previously described was a single calendar of planned and done. Toggle for which to show. Forward and back. When session done option to link or combine it to the planned one to show done. Anyhoo. GPegg says: I'd like to see eg the last four weeks mileage completed at the top of the training plan so I can see if my plan is too much of an increase. Is this what you're asking for StuH? If so, then yes please! Pegg says: I'd like to see eg the last four weeks mileage completed at the top of the training plan so I can see if my plan is too much of an increase. FEATURE 993larkim 7th Dec 2020Allow imported, trimmed, sliced runs / rides / swims / etc to be exported in gpx format (or whatever format they are stored in) on a one by one basis for occasional use with other services.
Bright Strider says: I think I've done this already. It came out with a gpx.xml extension.
larkim says: Ooh, tell me more? Gooner says: The .xml part does stop it importing to garmin connect for me though. I have to use a file converter larkim says: Hope do you get the gpx.xml file though? Gooner says: Save the gps trail of your activity as a route and then export the route to gpx. larkim says: Ah, that's a bit convoluted. Will have a go but if it just exports the route rather than the performance info then that's not really what I was suggesting. larkim says: Yep, just tried that - it strips the timing data from the GPX file so that's not what i was suggesting - I'm looking for a way to export the activity including pace / hrm etc Gooner says: Ah, I know how to import activities, but not export I'm afraid. |
FEATURE 991Big_G 6th Dec 2020On the Forum, the system refreshes the screen every few mins, which is great. However, although the list has refreshed, the system doesn't show any new notifications for the watch list, so a manual refresh is needed anyway to get the notifications.

FEATURE 989At Xmas some fetchies like to festive up their name but we risk our current fetch names being taken - is there any way (other than to create a spare account) to protect our original names and if not might it be possible?
fetcheveryone says: If anyone has done this for malicious reasons, I can kick them off.

FEATURE 986StuH 22nd Nov 2020A badge for achieving your annual target?? Or matching miles to the year i.e. 2020 in 2020
BareHeadEm says: Or Kms?
Snoot says: Would need to set goals within a time window to prevent โmassagingโ the numbers ๐ค BareHeadEm says: I agree Snoot westmoors says: Or maybe have badges for x miles in year, similar to the monthly ones. In fetchpoint a badge for being bug free for a year
Drell says: tbh, some of us have enough trouble getting bug free for a single day...
Night-owl says: Think my record is about 2 weeks but some managed it lol StuH says: I haven't managed 30 days, but those that have managed a whole year certainly deserve a badge. Gooner says: Maybe stages up to it too as 30 days to a year is a bit of a leap! DocM says: would be good to have a few badges for more than 30 days MisterTea says: Need some more badges to get me back into this game. Yes to a year - but only if 2, 6, 9 months added as well Bright Strider says: The game cycle is 30 days,; it used to be a year. Let's not take it too seriously. FEATURE 959
WSWs multiplayer - an activity feed showing the most recent X number of activities done. Name, activity type, distance and which squares were visited. Eg: BarefootEm Ran 1 mile and visited A1, B1, B2 & B3
Snail says: I'd better vote yes for this
though the squares visited perhaps might make it busy?Snail says: Could perhaps just do it when ownership has changed eg " has turned B1 into cake" "Runner A has captured C2 from Runner B" Gooner says: I voted no, I like knowing my score has been updated but think if somebody did an activity with a lit of squares that notification would be huge. Also, I would still have to check the map anyway so it would accomplish nothing for me. BareHeadEm says: Snail, I think it would be more useful when a square is being attacked but ownership has not yet been taken, early on in multiplayer it can creep up on you! BareHeadEm says: Gooner - yes, I'd check the map too... But at least you'd know which squares had been attacked to look at, this suggestion is specifically for multiplayer don't think it is necessary for 1v1 matches |

Different branches of the trader game for cyclists, walkers and swimmers
SpeedySloth ๐ฆฅ says: Yes! I only walk and sometimes cycle, but id love to be involved. I cant run. As much as i would like to. I still want to play though!
โชโซ Synge โชโซ says: I was going to suggest something similar: "Fantasy Cyclist"! says: I'd be up for fantasy swimmer... Raggedy runner says: Yes please. The game intrigues me but only run 3 times a week now but walk most days. Mandymoo says: Yea please |
FEATURE 947
how bout a Dyson Badge. you can get this by 'cleaning up' your Fetchpoint map
StuH says: Hoover
Sigh says: So, to keep it brand neutral, a "You Suck!" badge? Bright Strider says: What sort of cleaning? Total bug squashing? Marking several 'inaccessibles'? JCB says: My mind thought getting all gems, bugs, etc. I did this once and hoped for a prize of some sort. P.DuBโข๏ธ says: i was thinking more like getting all bugs and gems, just bugs is too easy says: I cleaned mine up of all bugs, jewels etc, thinking that would attract a bonus but it didn't. Was a real pain, all walking, very hilly too... Half my cirvle is on the slope of a 700 metre high hill! |
FEATURE 942ITG ๐ฎ๐ธ 9th Oct 2020Sort badges by category. Organise badges for different distances, sports and games thematically so we can see what we have earned and next targets. We have to go through dozens of different badges of different types to find our targets.

Angus Clydesdale says: There is.....but it's a secret ![]() Chrisity says: do i get a badge for knowing where the badge list is? iRicey says: boooo... where is the list?? |
FEATURE 940Hide & Seek Keep the game moving by having the hide window for the next game during the seek for the current game. Once the last player is found, the game resets at midnight with that player starting the seeking of the next games players.
โชโซ Synge โชโซ says: Happy with ince a month tbh
Alice the Camel says: I quite like it being a once a month game rather than ongoing โชโซ Synge โชโซ says: ince a month *and* once a month! Alice the Camel says: Snap, Synge! rhb says: Just seems the balance is wrong, 7/31 days seeking and this game is over for the rest of the month. Maybe fortnightly could be a compromise? westmoors says: Monthly gives players a chance to cover a decent amount of their grid for hiding. If the game started as soon as the previous one finished, there would be limited hiding places for most people. rhb says: ^ wasn't that the point of hide & seek as a game, count to 10, find everyone, repeat. I'd be interested to know how many players are covering new ground specifically to hide in during the last week of the month. JCB says: I can see both sides.... Hmm, what about 2-3 rounds of it at the start of every month? Angus Clydesdale says: I lvery much like the fact that this is played over just a few days at the start of every month. This suggestion would spoil the game for me. JCB says: If one hadnโt hidden for the start of a new game, that would be like taking a break? rhb says: There was exactly 21 days of inactivity on the forum thread. Interesting. Dry Raccoon says: I agree with this one - half the people are found in the first day or two, meaning there's nothing to do for the vast majority of the time. Maybe start a new game a week after the last finished? Raggedy runner says: I tend to forget about this game once Iโve picked my hiding place. I feel the game needs more frequent reasons to revisit. |
FEATURE 938Trader - dividends for investors so that we can buy new runners without having to sell current ones.
says: You might want to sell some of them in a few months funkyPOM - most runners will plateau or fall after a few months
Sigh says: An annual dividend, only credited if you've kept hold of the runner for a 12 month period. FunkyPOM says: good alternative views there FunkyPOM says: should also introduce a 'comission' (%age/fixed fee) for selling. Possibly interest for cash in portfolio too |
FEATURE 936
Please could Fetchpoint and Hide+Seek have the long/lat/nickname for setting the homepoint like WSW. |
FEATURE 935Run the Sum - Add a rolling total for the year, and all time. And maybe an Annual and all time leader board? |
FEATURE 934

Chrisity says: starting after this one
![]() Gooner says: Only if you count past features ๐ ![]() DocM says: what gooner says westmoors says: Definitely need retrospective awarding chunkywizard says: I think retrospective would be difficult for Fetch (but I reckon I'd get a badge!). Maybe you point to the feature you suggested for the award? Snail says: is this the same as #173? |
FEATURE 926FunkyPOM 1st Oct 2020'Kick the Habit' badge for stopping something for a month. It's obviously an honesty thing but could help people quit bad habits. Could be a forum for people to say what it is and chat/support. Like the alcohol thread |
FEATURE 924To encourage people who have completed Run The Sum to revisit it rather than treat it as a one time bucket list item could we have a best ever efficiency score and thus a league table for completing RTS in the lowest possible mileage.
ITG ๐ฎ๐ธ says: Part 1, ok; Part 2, no because it is a disincentive to train! We shouldn't reward people for training LESS!

FEATURE 923Trader, Top Trader table: Offer sort ascending & descending for the columns "cash" "portfolio" and "total" so we can get different views of the leader board please. |
FEATURE 922Alice the Camel 29th Sep 2020Treasure hunt badges! X marks the spot, pieces of 8,etc. For setting a treasure hunt and for completing/blogging a yearโs worth of hunts.
BareHeadEm says: Yes, brilliant!
|
FEATURE 906Chrisity 18th Sep 2020More streak badges please. Currently you have to run for 500 consecutive days from the 500 badge to get the 1000, which i suspect makes it the most time and sweat for one badge by far.
Gooner says: Cycling streak badges whilst you're making some too please
![]() chunkywizard says: I think Illuminati is the biggest wait! |
FEATURE 898SPR 12th Sep 2020Deleting dodgy benchmarks, eg track race or training benchmark: add session type to benchmark list and/ or allow them to be deleted directly from activity. If multiple sessions are done in a day, some off track benchmarks may have similar times.
Pegg says: Yes please! My treadmill isn't calibrated properly so I'd love to be able to just delete all treadmill entries from benchmarks in one go
Lizzle says: I would also like to delete all treadmill runs as my Garmin can't calibrate correctly. SJA says: All dog running actitivies need to go for me too! |
FEATURE 894
I'm working from home on a German VPN (IP address 134.244.203.3 registered to Siemens and so, depending on what geolocation service you use, it can be US or Germany but not High Wycombe). Can my location be used in all places such as new route?
fetcheveryone says: What about the people who travel about *and* have reliable location data?
Bright Strider says: Can you turn the VPN off? My employer is reducing the number of programs that need its VPN. |
FEATURE 893A variation on Run the Sum. Initially Run the Date (run the ks as per the date) but that would get super hard at the back end of the month. Expand it to include Run/Walk/Bike so it's not exclusive to runners.
FunkyPOM says: 31k at the end of the month is achievable if it includes biking.Longest month is therefore 496km.
fetcheveryone says: Have a look at fetcheveryone.com/ruyd fetcheveryone says: And fetcheveryone.com/thon.php FunkyPOM says: Not seen ruyd, this is more run, walk, cycle having a cumulative daily target BareHeadEm says: Could we have RUYD running as well as RTS? Sync training from Wattbike Hub. I can download a TCX from Wattbike, then upload to Fetch, but having it happen automagically would be awesome. (Apparently, some other sites can do this...)
fetcheveryone says: There is no publicly-advertised API. I have contacted them to ask.
boyband6666 says: Just got a wattbike and was wondering the same, but googling found this: github.com boyband6666 says: Any updates? I haven't found a way to make it work or sync. Training peaks and AndyS says: I now very rarely use Wattbike Hub for training, but am leaving this here because others have voted for it |
FEATURE 883
Badges for different states (Australia & America)
Pothunter says: I think the service which identifies your location from GPS only goes to country level. We canโt identify constituent countries of the UK either.
fetcheveryone says: It *is* possible to see counties, states etc - but would be a LOT of badges for me to make. FunkyPOM says: Maybe start with Oz then :-). Good, if the borders ever reopen.. Sam Jelfs says: Given that US / Oz states are often bigger than most European countries I think this makes sense, UK counties less so. |
FEATURE 880
To encourage Seeking in "Hide & Seek" game - achieve badges for the number of hidden runners found - maybe 1/25/50/100 etc?
MisterTea says: But isn't the point to stay hidden for as long as possible - I've never found anyone because I've always been found in the final hour or so of the game
chunkywizard says: you could also have a badge for being in the last 10/5/1 people to be found Snail says: Ye agreed chunky - that would be good too |
FEATURE 879
Hide and Seek: badge for being able to hide in any square. That is, having a full hide grid! ๐ Surely an accomplishment worthy of a badge.
westmoors says: I'll never achieve it as too much of my grid is inaccessible.
chunkywizard says: westmoots, you can move the grid to get round this issue westmoors says: I would need multiple moves to cover the whole grid and I'm not sure if even the lure of a badge could tempt me to be bothered! chunkywizard says: ![]() JCB says: I doubt Iโd ever achieve it. 1600 different squares in a month. Even with unlimited grid moves itโd be a feat. chunkywizard says: do you know how big area that is? JCB says: CW, the lure of a badge though... ๐ chunkywizard says: absolutely, I would give it a go, but just trying to work out how big the area it is so I could work out if it would be possible. JCB says: 3 miles by 3 miles. Not to be sneezed at! The individual squares seem smaller than for WSW chunkywizard says: well if there's a badge for it I will give it a go. Should be possible in a month, especially if you can do unlimited grid moves. |
FEATURE 878
Would it be possible to modify the OSM layers used in route maps to highlight water taps (amenity=drinking_water) and show them at a lower zoom? Would be very useful for planning long runs.
StuH says: Came across github.com no idea if it has any bearing on the way FE uses OSM!
um says: StuH - have you got location where OSM shows drinking water? May have a play. StuH says: The church in Bicknoller, Somerset, on the western side of the Quantock Hills? |
FEATURE 877
Badge for doing a bug squashing activity where you deliberately squash at least one bug but fail to leave your circle - 'What was I thinking?' Badge (Thanks for the idea Nellers!)
chunkywizard says: This would be quite easy to do if you were registered but nor actively playing Fetchpoint. I wondered how to get around that?
BareHeadEm says: Maybe it needs to be specifically asked for? Look what an idiot I've been Mr Fetch... Oh dear, haven't you just, here, have the dufus badge... Chrisity says: Maybe you should have a random badge removed to make sure you don't do it again. |
FEATURE 876
Please can you do a "I forgot to start my Garmin" badge to somehow make-up a bit for the disappointment I've just felt on my bike ride when I was being led up a silly hill I wasn't prepared for and my ride being about 4 miles short? |
FEATURE 875
A badge for Thingython, please!
chunkywizard says: Not sure what that is, but a badge is always a good idea!
![]() Oranj says: In the spirit of Thingython it should be for more than one different activity every day of the month (otherwise it'll just overlap with the new RunTheSum badge) Gooner says: Only for those that run every day, us cyclists would only ever get this and not that ![]() Juliane Fuchs says: definetl! Completed the challenge today and was a bit disappointed that I didn't get a badge or notification.. Gooner says: Thingython would mean running/walking/cycling/yoga-ing a bit a day, run the sum is harder and more focused so if someone puts the effort into a run the sum, I see no harm in them getting both rather than limiting this one. CumbriAndy says: +1 for Oranj suggestion that there should be more than 'just' running during the month MisterTea says: Isn't this just a 28/30/31 day streak badge - but for activity rather than just running? Agree that at least one activity should be non foot based westmoors says: But its easy to complete by logging Other - Bugger All or Other - Rest MisterTea says: Maybe make a series of training streak badges rather than just run streaks |
FEATURE 874Dochart 30th Aug 2020WSW - 'Ocho Squared' badge for maximum points in the same square for an entire game week, ie 8 days x 9 = 72 points.
chunkywizard says: Must say this would favour people who have easy access to the water, but if someone puts in the effort then fair-dues.
Juliane Fuchs says: maybe some badges in between? Like 25 points, 50, 70. FunkyPOM says: Bat shit crazy, I'm in! Just looked at my grid and I could technically do 8 ochos in one day ![]() |
FEATURE 872Read additional data from Garmin .fit files, such as the VO2Max reading associated with each activity, and have that reportable / graphable / listable in tables etc. Would need to not just be included in the "notes" field.
Bowman ๐ธ๐ช says: I was thinking about this, in particular getting the v02max data from the fit file, like you can in runalyze. Then you can see the vo2max on every run. A bit more granular than just the โbig numberโin Garmin Connect. But is this suggestion to old for
Bowman ๐ธ๐ช says: ..fetch to look at anymore, seems like an easy thing to do. larkim says: I'd hope it's not too old tbh. I didn't think the feature requests quite worked like that in terms of priority? chunkywizard says: 52 votes should ean it gets looked at I hope. Extra metrics would be great and the FIT file format is well explained so should be easy to do. Bowman ๐ธ๐ช says: Letโs hope itโs looked at ![]() Gooner says: ๐ RBanksy says: This is the one thing I regularly go to Garmin connect for. Would be great to have it on the training entries here at fetch |
FEATURE 864
Fetchpoint markers table - Please add "last visited" column. It would be helpful to know when I next need to visit my traffic lights, etc without clicking on each of them on the map.
Gooner says: I voted no because I feel it's part of the game. They can be a valuable resource in busy areas so they should require a little work to maintain. Can't make everything too easy.
westmoors says: Agree with Gooner Mr Stick says: @Gooner - Surely the effort is in the running / riding not in clicking on the map. JCB says: Voted yes logopetria says: I agree, the fun of the game is in the running, not the laborious fiddling with the UI |
FEATURE 863
Every training item with a GPS trace to have the starting location included in the Notes. |
FEATURE 854Dive log for us scuba divers please
geordiegirl says: Not that I dive as much as I'd like but that would be a fab option for the ones I do do.

FEATURE 836njosmith 7th Aug 2020Would it be possible to add a figure for longest bug squishing streak? I am at 11 days and I would love to know if that it my best ever! Thanks. |
FEATURE 835Once a Fetch Mile has been created... could there be an option to create the same mile in the opposite direction?
BareHeadEm says: I've had this thought so many times! Well done for putting it forward ๐
Juliane Fuchs says: . Same here! Would be nice to have other distances too, like half mile, 5miles, 1k etc. 3M says: In fact, segments, even.... Would probably need a different name. Although I know not all the segments in the other place are even distances, but tend to be linked to landmarks, corners, lamp posts etc..olde english says: extra gold vote from me 4 anything to improving the fetch mile feature. I do only flick onto that other site to look at segments as its very useful for quick run comparisons eg a full route run is influenced by tractors and sheep but i can still glance at |
FEATURE 833
Ability to embed a table into a comment, the sidebar and/or blogs. Would be great to be able to format it too perhaps, but that's just optional / your discretion! Could look like the Voting table that gets embedded? Lots of love, me. G

Jug Avoidance Badges...like in cricket, you buy a pitcher of beer if you get 49, or 99. Here you get a badge for 4.9 miles, 9.9 miles, 15.9 miles, 19.9 miles, or 4.9k, 9.9k, 14.9 etc
chunkywizard says: they are a bit easy to get IMHO. I'd prefer badges to be a bit of challenge
Ocelot Spleens says: I think most runners don't stop at x.9 whatev, and carry on to x, it'd be a nice surprise, unless you make them 4.99 km, 9.99km George Smiley says: I think a 42.1km badge would show dedication to badge collecting Ocelot Spleens says: so would 42?, or 39.9, or 29.9 SPR says: Not a badge collector but I have a few .9 runs, lol. |
FEATURE 827
A badge for doing a race in a Fetch vest. This would be an honour claim, no proof needed.
chunkywizard says: Whereโs my badge?

FEATURE 824
A badge for introducing a new fetchie to the site, and then your 5th fetchie, 10th etc...Maybe a box on sign up that says how did you hear about us? With one option being, another fetchie, name here... |
FEATURE 820SPR 3rd Aug 2020A "choose your highlights" section to all infographics. So rather than benchmarks being always there it could be races done or training summary, or something else I haven't thought about. I'm thinking users would have a tick box to decide what shows. |
FEATURE 817
Spectator tools for following the WSW multi match e.g. a graph that shows the rise and fall of player scores.
chunkywizard says: great idea. This week's match has been great thanks to all the posts but it would help cut down on the work needed to track
Boycie says: they could also be applied to singles matches too... |
FEATURE 813
Please could we have some badges for sprint distances and jumping and throwing events for Sharkie.
Sharkie says: MIne is one of the no votes
Serendippily says: Iโd like the sprint distances for my own purposes |
FEATURE 807
In the route finder add an additional search criteria so if I wanted a route heading to Dale Abbey (say) will only display these routes that have this phrase/location in the title |
FEATURE 802
When sharing to Facebook or Twitter we now get a very pretty graphic of a GPS route but a blank space for non-GPS activities like Indoor Rowing. ANy chance of updating the sharing feature to include a pace graph as well? Pretty please? |
FEATURE 800
On the Fetch Miles results table, add the HR-related details that are available in Training Log for that mile. I.E., Average HR, Max HR, beats/mile.
chunkywizard says: av and max HR dpend on peoples max to determine the effort. If you wish to see effort then I would suggest %MHR
|
FEATURE 791Who Squares Wins, tweak the scoring so that a player who has scored greater than zero in the week cannot be bumped down to 1000. This would make the game more competitive for lower scored players by ensuring they are not matched with inactive players |
FEATURE 790
In Hide+seek can we have badges for the number of hiders a seek has found per game eg 1, 5, 10 etc (not sure ive found anyone in any game yet but one day I will!)
MisterTea says: Isn't the purpose of this game not to be found and therefore not to spend time seeking?
MisterTea says: Unless of course there were badges for being in the last 10, 5, 1 when hiding Chrisity says: It would encourage hiding in the centre. You need a game of Seek and Hide. DocM says: But once you are found you'd get out there and find as many as you could |
FEATURE 787Autumnleaves 5th Jul 2020Allow a default setting of category in routes - so that when editing a training entry you can look at, say, local entries only. I have a lot of holiday routes stored that I like for nostalgic reasons but will rarely look at again.
Pothunter says: Tags?
Autumnleaves says: That wouldn't narrow the drop down menu though fetcheveryone says: If I understand, I think this is achievable now... fetcheveryone says: ...your route categories can be opened or closed, and the page remembers... fetcheveryone says: so you can keep your favourite categories open... fetcheveryone says: @Autumnleaves - does this solve your request? Autumnleaves says: I will check - many thanks! Autumnleaves says: The routes page remembers - but when editing a training entry to pick a route, you still have to scroll through everything |
FEATURE 781Would it be possible to have a way of showing a hit counter for a recent period (last 12 months perhaps) ? Just to see your current addiction position. |
FEATURE 780Track any aspect of how you're feeling, with a simple 1-10 score. So you could track how you're feeling about eating, drinking, sleep, exercise, family, work, happiness - choose your own labels, and update as often as you like.
jennyh says: Love this idea Fetch!
FurryH says: I have an app for this already. Very useful for monitoring mental health. boyband6666 says: It's supposed to be one of the best predictors of many things, from injuries, etc. Having a validated questionaire built in would be amazing, as then I'd do it BareHeadEm says: I think this has the potential for incredible help. Could it be possible to have the individual 1-10's private, but the option to have your overall 'how you are feeling' visible on your profile? Maybe in the form of an emoji? So if someone is looking at a BareHeadEm says: Profile they are able to see a Fetchie is feeling a 3 today, and can send a virtual hug if they want to? But they don't need to know the detail? jennyh says: I like that idea Em BareHeadEm says: I'm glad it made sense Jennyh! geordiegirl says: Garming connect has added this and I love that I can put in my perceived effort and how I felt so I would love it here too esp expanded ![]() |
FEATURE 779Hide and Seek Rule Suggestion. Freeze grid moving after the seeking starts so a seeker can not move their grid so their home is in the top corner of a current game thus allowing harder to reach areas to be more accessible.
Snoot says: Agree with this although I do have to admit to just moving the grid to my advantage ๐
|
FEATURE 778
Add Privacy Zones so that user can hide home address but still have training public as per Garmin or Strava.
Elsie Too says: How would that work - if you run from home every day and show your training it will be obvious where you live? I don't use
larkim says: larkim says: In support of mercilessly stealing their idea - it's documented here support.strava.com Rrunner says: I'd prefer the map to be made available on an activity by activity basis and still have the ability to let buddies see everything if I choose. Flatlander says: I support larkim's and Rrunner's comments Angus Clydesdale says: Where I live thereโs only us so itโs pointless. I can see how it works in the city though. |
FEATURE 774
County badges? For logging an activity in a different county?
ChrisHB says: ceremonial counties, not changeable administrative counties
chunkywizard says: reckon that would be a lot of work to implement. It might be good to have a badge for the set Pothunter says: Fetch has previous Pothunter says: Oops! Meant to say: previously said the GPS software he uses canโt even identify Eng, Sco, Wal, Nir so counties will be nigh on impossible I guess ChrisHB says: agree about the techical difficulies, though ChrisHB says: IIRC it is possible to work out the postcode town using post office data. JCB says: What are these things called counties? ๐คฃ๐ ChrisHB says: the data appears to be available here geoportal.statistics.gov.uk or a page not too far away. Not ceremonial counties afaict. fetcheveryone says: It's possible, but am just concerned about the number of badges I'd have to make ![]() BareHeadEm says: I'm happy to help make badges (If that is helpful!)ChrisHB says: For Cheshire you can have an invisible Cheshire cat - that should be easy. BareHeadEm says: I was thinking the cats smile... |
FEATURE 768
Fetchpoint: diamonds that can only be picked up by running over them. This should help level the field. I can't seem to get into the top 10 with just running. Everyone in the top 10 is cycling so it feels like a cycling competition at the moment.
Sampson says: All gems could be for runners/walkers/swimmers(?) only. Most of the leaders have relatively few points from gems.
Bright Strider says: When cycling, I tend not to take footpaths, on which tokens do appear. I also run, and this provides an opportunity to collect those tokens. Nonrunners will find such tokens less appealing. MisterTea says: The top players have hardly any gem points so won't make much difference. MisterTea says: 13 out of the top 15 have more flower points than my highest ever score. The only way to balance it up is to do something with flowers JCB says: Anyone interested in flowers, I made a suggestion about them being dropped at different rates: fetcheveryone.com/featurerequests-open.php?sort=id#feature194 Drell says: I agree that flowers are where change might help Heinzster says: Flowers drop every 5 minutes? That way faster cyclists would plant flowers much further apart. Badger says: The every 5 minutes idea is a good one I think |
FEATURE 758
Is there any possibility of adding a tag to peopleโs faces in your photos in the gallery. If you could highlight who people are and link their Fetch nickname. I think it be nice for when there are โFetch Mileโ meet-ups and when we meet up at races. |
FEATURE 756
Nested kit; kit that is always used together could be nested under the main piece. For example, tyres and bike shoes under road bike. The tyres can be retired and replaced at any point. The bike shoes can be nested under mountain bike as well.
Bright Strider says: How about default kit set for the activity?
RunningRonnie says: You can already do that Bright Strider ![]() Angus Clydesdale says: Not completely. I asked ages ago if we could have different default kit for different activity sub-sets (MTB, Road Bike, Commuting Bike etc). Hasnโt happened yet. CogNoscensme AHA says: With you on that AC. I suppose I only need to log shoes and tyres but I keep logging all my kit anyway and default by subset would really help. |
FEATURE 748
Badges for earning badges - for example "100 Badges" Badge!?
chunkywizard says: gets my vote!
ishep says: Badgeception! cerid says: That means you canโt have 100 badges. Badge 101 does sound cool though Ocelot Spleens says: superb idea. meta. |
FEATURE 745
WSW - To get more people involved and to make multiplayer games last 1 less week. Is it feasible to run multiple multiplayer games ala Premiership (top 64), championship (next 64), League 1, League 2 etc.
says: It reduces the multiplayer game cycle by a week and starts the competition of needing to own squares rather than the number you go through closer to the competiton start. It then also maintains the competitive element to qualifying.
ishep says: This was posited by Fetch when he was first designing multi. Don't know if it was ever ruled out or just shelved Gooner says: I like that idea, gets more people into another part of the game for longer. Snail says: Sounds good. Makes the event seeded so would give more people a chance Boots says: I thought of this recently and came to see if anyone else had already suggested it. |
FEATURE 743
In Fetchpoint can we have the daily activity results shown in the same order day to day, rather than in the order they were activated |
FEATURE 728BareHeadEm 7th Jun 2020When plotting a route and using the WSWs grid, have the grid squares your route passes through become slightly opaque (or similar) something that is an easy, quick, visual aid to show how many, and which squares that particular route goes through.
PK says: That's a good shout. Would be very helpful
chunkywizard says: I think I put out a feature request thats similar to this before asking for current state of play to be overlapped BareHeadEm says: Oops sorry, I did have a quick look through before hand chunkywizard says: feature 672 was mine, think its the same thing BareHeadEm says: Ah yes, already up voted yours ๐ BareHeadEm says: Not the same thing though, I meant opaquing the squares the route goes through, regardless of what is going on in the match that week geordiegirl says: This would have been very useful BareHeadEm says: Or even add the green triangles too them? chunkywizard says: this gets my golden ticket! |
FEATURE 721A separate league table for people with running only. (Says the guy who would benefit the most!).
milemonster says: Fetchpoint
DocM says: ive always wanted that Oranj says: Do you mean this: fetcheveryone.com/league-training.php milemonster says: milemonster says: No I meant a separate table for runners on fetchpoint FurryH says: The league table can be filtered to just running |
FEATURE 710Hi Fetch would it be possible to add Yahoo bike computers to the list that transfer data automatically? At the moment I have to enter the info from my Yahoo Elemnt Bolt manually Many thanks King Regards Mike Vowles
Bright Strider says: Yahoo -> Wahoo, I think.
|
FEATURE 707Gooner 31st May 2020Badges - Cycle streaking badges in the same time periods as the running badges. |
FEATURE 704Allow people to (optionally) specify their real-world names alongside their nicknames, so that friends can find them.
chunkywizard says: if its optional then why not
Bright Strider says: You can put your real name in brackets in your nickname: Profile > Settings. DocM says: Is bright Striders real name "soemthing fishy"? |
FEATURE 703
Fetch genealogy. Each user can list (on their profile) the user who first introduced them to Fetcheveryone. Could be incentivised by badges (e.g. number of descendants).
Bright Strider says: We can describe this in our profiles.
Sampson says: True, but that wouldn't create the data necessary for gamification! rf_fozzy says: Dislike this idea as it's basically a popularity contest then and to me that's anti-fetch rf_fozzy says: Dislike this idea as it's basically a popularity contest then and to me that's anti-fetch Gus says: I found Fetch by myself! |
FEATURE 700Chris Worthers 26th May 2020Routes. When adding a new training entry, order the routes drop down so the most recently used routes appear first.
SailorSteve says: Or provide a โSortโ option eg recent, alphabetical, miles/km
Diogenes says: What Steve said EdJ says: I've been meaning to ask for this for ages! Thanks Steve!! Pegg says: 'Sort' would be great, sometimes I want to search by name, other times by distance etc. SailorSteve says: I really would value a sort option for routes when adding training. My fault of course - for having too many routes๐ |
FEATURE 699HappyG(rrr) 26th May 2020WSW game - ability to look at history of each game, score by score, so you can see who go what squares in each go / training item added. G
JCB says: Like stepping through a scrabble game turn by turn?
HappyG(rrr) says: Yeah JCB, that was the idea. I see a lot of folk have down voted it because they think it could be used for tactically identifying opponents routes. I hadn't even thought of that. Democracy at work! GJCB says: Hmmm. That wouldnโt be a problem if everyone could access every part of their grid. Iโm for both ideas! JCB says: Maybe โas big of a problemโ would be more accurate. |
FEATURE 697
Calendar feed URL per user. I'd love to have a calendar URL I could subscribe to that shows my planned training for the future and logged training for the past.
StuH says: Planned training can be exported to a calendar at the moment, but a subscription as per the race portfolio would be good.
larkim says: Agreed, I've requested this in the past. It's OK pushing out a fixed ICS, but a dynamic link like webcal:// would be a really nice way of keeping all my calendars i the same place. Or exposing the site to Google Apps Scripts where I already have an app says: Unfortunately, I routinely adjust my training. Doing a manual export-import cycle every time is just not realistic for me. njosmith says: How does the race portfolio subscription work? StuH says: On the Race Portfolio page under Export Your Portfolio is a link for an .ical file. Rather than downloading the file, copy the link and subscribe (using url) with your calendar application. I use google calendars. njosmith says: Thanks larkim says: Does the Race Portfolio one mean that if I know your user ID I can access your race portfolio schedule even if Iโm not logged into the site etc? ishep says: cf. #94 |
FEATURE 691
Competition badges. Creative challenges sponsored with a prize for a randomly selected finisher (and a badge for everyone else). e.g. Run every Monday morning in May to win some Mizuno. Requires optional sign-up and data giveaway. ยฃยฃยฃ
Gooner says: I have gone with meh, purely because it could be a lot of work for Fetch to get sponsors, create all the bumf etc but I do like the idea.
Sampson says: I'd be doing it for the badge anyway! But I was thinking of a year-round advent calendar. westmoors says: For regular challenges with prizes try Running Heroes (uk.runningheroes.com) or Cycling Heroes (uk.cyclingheroes.com). |
FEATURE 687
The ability to have notifications pushed via google chrome from the site when I'm not on the site...other websites I'm on does this on Windows and my Android mobile
Elsie Too says: I'm a yes as long as you can pick and choose which notifications you want to have pushed.
CBN says: I personally cannot stand browser push notifications! ishep says: The browsers let you control whether you accept or block notifications on a site-by-site basis ishep says: I can't stand browser notifications either (or even being prompted to accept or block them) but FE is the one site I *do* want them from! |
FEATURE 685
Fetchpoint: nymph Add nymph stage for the ๐. This is not collectable; just indicates where the daily bug will mature. Created some time before midnight (maybe even at current daily ๐ creation time). Matures just after midnight/or normal timing.
Bright Strider says:
Bright Strider says: How about normal bug, but matures at normal time, but according to local time zone? Oranj says: Good idea, but I still want it earlier, I think |
FEATURE 682roberton 18th May 2020Badge for anyone who makes to the very summit of the WSW league. It's a monumental effort and deserves recognition ๐
RRR-CAZ ๐ฌ๐ง says: Could also do badge for top 30-20-10-5-3-2-1
Snail says: And maybe 100,50 ![]() Snail says: And maybe 100,50 ![]() Chrisity says: As long as it is backdated ![]() JCB says: +1 for backdating and RRR-CAZโs idea |
FEATURE 681Weight predictor trend average into the future. Easy option: Make the weight loss/gain scale go into the future. (I can line a ruler up with my current trend). Advanced: Extend the average weight for the view chosen (eg 3months).
Bob! says: I would also like to add notes after wighing in without having to delete and re-input
Sigh says: @Bob, there's already a notes field, just fill it in before pressing 'enter'. Bob! says: I'd like to add notes later, without having to delete and re-input fetcheveryone says: @Bob - if you want to request something, add a request ![]() 2triornot2tri says: No amendments the feature is as per the order paper! I just want to know the future! 2triornot2tri says: I have come up with a 'work around' for anyone interested. Set your goal weight and date you hope to achive it. It lets you choose future dates and your weight tracks towards the future logged weight. 2triornot2tri says: Can you update to 2021 so I can extend my lines on please? |
FEATURE 679
Enable automatic pushing of routes from here to Garmin devices, as some *ahem* other sites are now able to do... dcrainmaker.com
chunkywizard says: That would be awesome if technically possible
chunkywizard says: Seems like itโs possible so itโs. Yes from me! fetcheveryone says: I do this in a few steps: download GPX; send to Garmin Connect; send to device. |
FEATURE 675'Injuries' page: I'd like to be able to edit when the injury commenced - rather than it being the date that it's first input. Aches aren't always obvious as injuries until they persist. It would be useful to track from the actual occurrence date.
ZenTaoPlurp says: There's a date input box when the injury is first entered - ignore all after 'Injuries'.
ZenTaoPlurp says: After further thought, the ability to change the date on which an injury commenced would still be really useful. gwowen says: Agreed. I'd like to be able to add an injury history at one time, and set dates for how it was PeteFastFeet says: Also edit the injury title tipsku says: Agreed, I didn't think of logging my Achilles tendon irritation until a couple of months later. I can add the injury on the day it happened but after that, I can't add any updates until today. I would like to backlog the history |
FEATURE 674
WSW / New? Capture the flag, flag is placed on grid same as WSW. Flag captured and moved on an activity. Points scored time held and captures, bonus for holding flag at the end Game ends after a period of time maybe a week, most points?
chunkywizard says: Fecthpoint has various things like this ie relays and trafficlights. Not sure this adds anything new
iwaswill says: I am right in thinking fetchpoint can only be played by those near you, as I liked the WSW style of playing wherever you are, but maybe other features are too close. ![]() Bright Strider says: Iwaswill, no there is a single league table for Fetchpoint. The total is a rolling 30 day one, which is a great idea. It limits potential for obsession, but also keeps going. JCB says: I believe iwaswill is requesting a game like WSW in a grid, with the game being capture the flag. This sounds great and could even involve teams. |
FEATURE 671Alice the Camel 11th May 2020Treasure Hunt : a specific gallery for the monthly treasure hunt photos. Allow the monthly list provider to choose their favourite photo and award a badge.
MazH says: Be less samey stuff in the general gallery too
|
FEATURE 669Fetch Trumps - it includes a rank but it'd be good to show a league table, including a list of those who've completed it
chunkywizard says: and a badge! (bit obsessed with badegs at the moment - they are the new race medal!)
|
FEATURE 664
Badges for press-ups fetcheveryone.com/pressups.php
Gooner says: I didn't even know this was a thing!
chunkywizard says: watch the thread and get pressing ![]() roberton says: Not keen. Badges for self-reported things should be awarded sparingly Ocelot Spleens says: Very keen, I am not lying about my press ups. chunkywizard says: No lying hear either, we are all grown ups, right? Dave W says: Everything is self reported. You could have your Garmin in your car while you drive round. chunkywizard says: Good point Dave! Nellers says: I'm confused. If I lied about my press ups (which I dont and wouldn't by the way) would that stop someone else getting a badge for their real press ups? Didn't think so. |
FEATURE 661
Kit list: ability to have more than one kit list, e.g., for those who live in two places and have two sets of kit, or those who do different sports and have multiple independent sets |
FEATURE 658
Badges: badges for length of time as a Fetchie. 1 year, 5 year, 10 year etc.
No.12 says: I support this, but I did think that you would have a lot of dormant users getting badges. May be it should either be Fetch Contributor (ie either 1) made some entry on a blog or forum or logged something or 2) more controversially, a Fetch supporter for
No.12 says: that last bit was meant to read, a Fetch Supporter for x years. Gooner says: It could only be issued if there is a training log entry for 2020 to keep it to active accounts? chunkywizard says: Do badges for dormant fetchies actually matter? Maybe they will come badge and get a warm feeling encouraging them to stay? Gooner says: Fair point No.12 says: no the badges dont matter for dormant people, although you will see that it affects the "number of people awarded" badge comment for those that this matters for. I am sort of with Gooners comment response. Some sort of activity each year qualifying. But w No.12 says: but will go with the flow (my comments are truncating. Must be waffling too much!) Gooner says: 85 yes votes... Just saying ๐ Ocelot Spleens says: 73 me, 15 against, 88 in total....just saying |
FEATURE 653Bright Strider 6th May 2020Fetchpoint: make flower colour personal; randomly assigned colour initially, but resettable to one that the Fetchie likes. Inspired by chunkywizard.
NDWDave says: Could be like bugs. A colour for yours and one for everyone else
chunkywizard says: Dave that would work for me, especially if the values of them were shown without having got click on them Bright Strider says: Possible, certainly. See feature 652 for not having to click. |
FEATURE 650
Virtual badges based on number of fake parkruns completed ("Fakeruns"?) |
FEATURE 638DocM 17th Apr 2020more fetchpoint badges. Maybe a target number of particular gems per month. badges for highest number of points on a day eg 200, 400, 500, 1000. number of flowers planted or owned
BareHeadEm says: Amount of points from trafic lights? Getting into top 100/50/10 etc
Pothunter says: โStealingโ an 80 point traffic light? chunkywizard says: Yes please! roberton says: Not keen on traffic light ones (I've no one to play with ๐ฅ) but voted yes for more FP badges. JCB says: I donโt see traffic lights either. In a country where there are few fetchies yet great distances means no one near for 50km as the crow flies (100km by land). BareHeadEm says: There is a big jump between 10k and 25k badge too |
FEATURE 635
On training page, a running total of your mileage for that month and year after each activity. So you can go back to any activity and see what your monthly/annual mileage was after that particular activity. |
FEATURE 613
Badges: please may we have some added motivation to add more than 100 race listings (speaking as one of those who persuaded Fetch to stop letsrun from adding inaccurate info to the site). |
FEATURE 609
ability to add a picture to the description in Kit
ZORBAX65 says: LO TROVO UN BUON SUGGERIMENTO
|
FEATURE 602Make the "Race times" and "All races" links from the "Profile" tab accessible from under the "Race" main heading, I always forget that those really good views of my own races are only viewable from looking at my own Profile
fetcheveryone says: Whoops, I accidentally closed this one off. Reinstated now.
fetcheveryone says: I think I'd aim to achieve this by offering display/grouping options on the race portfolio. |
FEATURE 589
Please may we have auto-import of Zwift rides from Garmin-central. Thank you.
Bright Strider says: Or autoimport from Zwift central.
Angus Clydesdale says: Thatโs not an option Iโve been able to find. Angus Clydesdale says: But yes, if you mean letโs get Fetch added to the options alongside TP, Garmin etc flanker says: JustCommando! says: Zwift connection to Fetch would be loverly. Till then, could we have cycling - zwifting as a training type please? Angus Clydesdale says: Itโs already there JC, you just need to scroll down a bit. ishep says: All good as long as it doesn't bring in any fake GPS tracks! (shakes fist at Zwift) 2triornot2tri says: Should just plug into Zwift API - I don't know what an API is but makes me look good! They're not fake gps tracks! Not sure what the issue is there as the places are South Pacific or random. fraggle says: zwift import would be great for us techno numpties ![]() Maccathecracker says: Up voted. I guess getting the badge for training in the Solomon Islands might be seen by some as a bit too virtual. Angus Clydesdale says: Itโs only a game. MsG says: It doesn't import as fake god because I haven't picked up any random zones. FurryH says: you used to get badge until changed it. I just upload fit files direct to fetch from activities folder on my laptop. Its a right faff from a tablet so agree auto import would be good. 2triornot2tri says: Looks like zwift locked down their API a bit when GDPR stuff came in - not to say it's impossible as it's your/our data but lots of people are asking for the same thing from what I gather. Big_G says: As a recent convert to Zwift, this would be a very good thing. fetcheveryone says: I would like to do this, but they don't appear to offer it as an option. fetcheveryone says: I've sent in my annual request to have access to their API, but not holding out any hope. |
FEATURE 585Could you show running shoe on the race portfolio page so that you can easily see which shoes you used for each race?
chunkywizard says: Nice idea
K5 Gus says: I think problem might be some people log more than shoes under kit - eg orthotics, bras, watch, hrm, etc and these are not classified so which piece of kit if there are multiple would be shown ? |
FEATURE 577
Maps in Fetch - English placenames OSM users use the LAYERS menu (three squares) and select CYCLE MAP to get place names displayed in English where the local language doesn't use our alphabet (Israel for me at the moment). Good default for Fetch? |
FEATURE 576
Training log: In the monthly/yearly summary at the top, have the option to show total elevation rather than elapsed time below the mileage totals. |
FEATURE 561ZenTaoPlurp 6th Feb 2020Project Joker: allow the training cycle to be alterable; rather than it being fixed at a week. This would be useful for the older runner. |
FEATURE 558New game: for races listed on Fetch that youโve completed you get points related to distance eg 1 pt for each mile (?km) run in a 5K; 2 pts in a 10K; HM=3pts/mile, Mara=5/mile etc, with league tables over an agreed time period. Time is irrelevant. |
FEATURE 557
Similar to Feature 545, comparing hills in routes: ability to overlay the elevation of two (?or more?) routes - to the same scale - in order to compare the hilliness of routes |
FEATURE 554wootty2000 4th Feb 2020Ability to import blood glucose readings from a FreeStyle LibreLink app as an overlay on existing training logs. Data is exportable as a CSV and I can provide example data |
FEATURE 547A graph to show PB consistency or lack of. I'm thinking have PBs at distances on a graph, with filters to allow all or just recent to be seen, and then extrapolating the "Reigel" prediction curve from one selected and a trend line perhaps. |
FEATURE 538
A badge for having a positive score every day in the month for Fetchpoint. |
FEATURE 536
Blue circles. Can these be filtered by training type please, so that Happy G doesn't ban me from the 10,000 Circles thread on the pretext of "cycling shizzle"?
HappyG(rrr) says: Lol! I never said cycling should be banned from Circles, did I? Am I such and anti-bike nazi?! Soz!
GVelociraptor says: If you had, and if it was a competitive thing, I'd have totally agreed with you. It's more about personal curiosity about how much ground I can cover on foot.ChrisHB says: Unless I am missing something, the filter is already in place. |
FEATURE 531
Allow multiple training log filters to be selected before they are "committed" so that the log page only needs to refresh once with all the chosen filters applied at the same time. |
FEATURE 525Add a menu item under "Train" for "Tag cloud" or similar - accessing tags is quite convuluted any other way - currently it is "Train" "View your log" "Settings" then "Edit tag list" |
FEATURE 524
Automatic import of activities completed on TrainerRoad - no idea if that is feasible, but it would be fabulous. |
FEATURE 519rf_fozzy 16th Jan 2020Flag badges (since IOM, Channel Isles etc have their own badges) for the constituent parts of the UK - namely (in no particular order): Scotland, Wales, England, Northern Ireland and most importantly, Yorkshire. |
FEATURE 518
Can we have a badge(s) for the number of times we vote on feature requests? I must be over 500 now. |
FEATURE 513
CSS tracker on the swimming pages. At the moment there is a calculator. It would be great if swimmers could track progress in CSS over time. Thanks |
FEATURE 489
On Fetchpoint could map stay on last place looked at rather than going back to home point when refreshed? It's a bit of an irritation if away for few days and don't want to move home point.
ishep says: Even better, add a "where am I?" button. Even even better, make it poll every couple of seconds so a mobile browser can show where you are on the map while running
|
FEATURE 488
Could you add the ability to include more than one tag in the training log filter section please?
Badger says: Yes please. If you do make use of tags, pretty often you'll want to filter by more than one (trail+hilly for instance)
|
FEATURE 487
Could you add the ability to exclude training entries with specific tags in the training log filter section please? |
FEATURE 478Could the Festive Fetch Calendar doors that are opened be based on logged in user across any device please (think it's based on cookies on each device at the mo, cos I see some on my phone and others on my PC). Fanks! Happy Christmas! G
|
FEATURE 476Trumps game: The line that comes up saying you won or lost the last car could change colour - red if you won and green if you lost (just to confuse people... or put the colours the correct way round). This way you know at a glance if you won or lost. |
FEATURE 473JCB 15th Dec 2019Who Squares Wins (WSW): themed multiplayer tournament Have some themed multiplayer tournaments, such as: - run only - cycle only - walk only - cross-training only etc |
FEATURE 471Conqurcise Annual Summary: like Spotify wrapped, a report saying things like You visited xx zones in 2019 Your most visited zone is xxxxxx You took control of x zones You lost control of x zones Your most distant zone is xxxx Your zone buddy is xxx |
FEATURE 456Ability to create multi sport races with non typical configurations
fetcheveryone says: Can you provide a specific example? "Non-typical" could mean anything
![]() The Mussile says: could be SUP instead of swim or with multiple bikes or like Hyrox - suggestion would be that you could have multisport/#legs/activity/distance/time in different layers of the race The Mussile says: could be SUP instead of swim or with multiple bikes or like Hyrox - suggestion would be that you could have multisport/#legs/activity/distance/time in different layers of the race |
FEATURE 453
In fetchpoint, the ability to mark an area as inaccessible to you. It might be woodland that is unsafe for a lone female... Or an army base that you can't access, but someone else can? Accessible to one isn't necessarily accessible to all. |
FEATURE 451Rosehip 6th Dec 2019I'd like to be able to add notes to training plan such that they stay and are highlighted in training log -e.g build/cutback/taper or sick/injured/holiday & weeks to target(s) Something like training type "notes" in different colour maybe? |
FEATURE 448Not technically site stuff, but can we have a Fetch visor (like a cap but without the bit that covers your head). Maybe with Fetcheveryone around the headband. |
FEATURE 447
Automatic import from Apple watches
AdrianB1066 says: Would be such a game changer form
pinkladykat says: Would be amazing fetcheveryone says: There are suggestions on how to upload on this thread: fetcheveryone.com/forum/upload-from-apple-watch-60646 Gravic says: Yes please Gus says: pretty please? Cheekyโs Dad says: Having done a lot of digging on this I believe the issue is that you have to develop a specific Apple Watch app to enable this. I donโt imagine that would be affordable in cash or time terms Cheekyโs Dad says: Having done a lot of digging on this I believe the issue is that you have to develop a specific Apple Watch app to enable this. I donโt imagine that would be affordable in cash or time terms Cheekyโs Dad says: Sorry for the impatient double entry Tooms says: Yes would love this. Canโt afford to have two watches. Tooms says: Yes would love this. Canโt afford to have two watches. says: Please, please, please Fitlike says: This would be a game changer for me! |
FEATURE 445Nightjar 2nd Dec 2019Within forum posts a bad-ge or stick-er on the avatar to indicate a user has blogged recently (eg within 30 days) and you haven't read it. This would nicely highlight that someone posting interesting stuff has also blogged recently. |
FEATURE 437Velociraptor 25th Nov 2019Add a new level of challenge to WSW by changing the size of the total area covered by the grid (and therefore the size of each individual square) at the start of each new game so that players need to rethink their routes and tactics. |
FEATURE 419
Fetch Anti-Buddies: In user settings, under blog visibility, allow specific users to be excluded from seeing one's blog. This would be useful, for example, if you don't want professional colleagues to see your unprofessional ramblings. |
FEATURE 407puzzler 27th Oct 2019Realised that Feature 406 should relate to Vo2 max not VDOT. Is it possible to import that from a watch for the training log? Sorry getting my vdots and vo2 max's confused. |
FEATURE 398
I know that there are badges for 300 and 350 miles months, but how about one for 500 kilometers for the younger runners?
chunkywizard says: I must say I like consistency of units (even though I use KMs!)
|
FEATURE 392Fetchpoint: the game ๐ A way of marking a rectangular area as inaccessible. Handy for large water areas. I still have occasional things to mark as inaccessible 7 months after moving. ๐
JCB says: After almost one year later then the request, I have only a handful of inaccessible spots left to be marked.
chunkywizard says: I still think it's a good idea! |
FEATURE 388chunkywizard 18th Oct 2019When viewing a recent run and clicking to display the WSW grid can you highlight the squares that have been run through? This would save zooming to check if you clipped a square or narrowly missed it (and have to plan a different route next time)
JCB says: Thatโd be nice. And a match comparison of before and after would be the cherry on top. ๐
chunkywizard says: Still would really like this as every chunkywizard says: Still would really like this as every chunkywizard says: Still would really like this as every chunkywizard says: New feature request: delete comments entered in error! JCB says: CW, did you get to finish what you were saying? AndyS says: I'd also like this for Conquercise |
FEATURE 377
Once the kit has been entered for an activity, the same kit defaults for similar activities at similar times. Eg. Running > warm up > drills > cool down... 3 different running entries at a very similar time but same trainers used. |
FEATURE 364In compare a run the times used seem to be overall elapsed times and not moving times. Could moving times be used?
AndyS says: Maybe allow this as an option, but elapsed times should always be visible
|
FEATURE 360Allow running festivals to be added to race listings: - multiple events - over 'x' amount of days - all on the one race listing, without having to create different listings : see feature 358 request Sam Jelfs |
FEATURE 350chunkywizard 25th Sep 2019In WSW Multiplayer in you opt out a week even though you would've advanced no badge is awarded for making the cut. This encourages staying in game until the draw is made to get a badge, denying one person a space. Can you award the badge anyway? |
FEATURE 342A monthly gps track 'art' competition. Winner selected by poll. Fetch as moderator or to set a monthly 'subject' to sketch by gps track. No winner without minimum number of votes. |
FEATURE 339
Allow long sessions (typically runs) to be "marked up" into sections, e.g. Warmup, tempo, cooldown which then results in each individual section showing (grouped) in the training plan, and reportable on separately when being filtered etc.
fetcheveryone says: I don't understand, sorry.
ishep says: I understood this to be similar to how YouTube videos (as of recently) can be split into labeled sections on the timeline larkim says: It's an extension of the ability to split a run. I'll do a long continuous run with maybe 4m warmup, 8m marathon pace, 3m cool down, but it would just appear in the log as one run with an average pace. What I'd like to see is that run as three separate bi larkim says: Oops truncated. ...bits for analysis in the pace logs (e larkim says: Oops again. Basically, leave a "long run" as a single run, but have some way of tagging sections of that run as different run types so that they are included in the summary table. Or the other way round, group several bits of one run as a single run. |
FEATURE 31410th Sep 2019How about creating automatic 'tags' for training entries based on some of the characteristics entered on 'edit' page. For instance, run type : easy etc. surface : road etc. kit. Might help clear a few of the outstanding training log requests
TeeBee says: Please no. I'm still in the process of closing all the tags that we're attached automatically based on my notes (when tags were first introduced)
HappyG(rrr) says: Thanks Fetch didn't realise already been requested. And I had Meh'd it! G |
FEATURE 306
Mandatory fields (so I don't keep forgetting to fill them in). Kit (if you haven't selected any for a run, then a prompt to suggest you do. Though maybe advisory rather than mandatory in case you want not to log kit. Ta. G
|
FEATURE 288
On our Profile page i would like to choose which of my badges i have as the six featured. |
FEATURE 285
Training pace calculator: add more categories. e.g. as well as race pace and interval paces, also suggest paces/pace bands for tempo runs, long runs, etc. |
FEATURE 275Battle ships! Who Squares Wins as a battle ships game; post a series of 'ships' which can be taken out by visiting that square...
AndyS says: You'd need some way of ensuring they weren't placed in unreachable squares.
|
FEATURE 270
Training Entry: add who squares wins summary Add a table for the who squares wins summary, showing number of squares, number that weee worth double, possibly before and after positions (scores for 1v1 and scores and ranking in multiplayer). |
FEATURE 269
Training Entry: add fetchpoint summary Add a table for the fetchpoint summary, showing number of bugs, diamonds, etc collected/moved. |
FEATURE 268Who Squares Win Multiplayer. Add a history so you can see your previous games positions and how many people were playing. |
FEATURE 263
Allow users to specify a pace to be associated with run types that are used in the training log so that distance planned can become linked to time planned / expected. Would allow, for example, average planned training pace to be reviewed. |
FEATURE 253
Automatically detect a run as a parkrun (based on GPS and time/day) and default to this selection when importing.
HappyG(rrr) says: I'm going to ask for another feature too, an auto import from parkrun - no idea if they have an API for that, or if screen scrape is an option (Robotic Process Automation, and all that?!)
GWayOfTheDodo says: Could parkruns be automatically added to the completed race lists instead? |
FEATURE 246
Races (listings, portfolios etc): put all races in one of two separate categories, one for "normal" public races, the other for other runs, such as club training sessions, closed events, informal runs like Thames Bridges, "first 20m of a marathon".
โชโซ Synge โชโซ says: Happy for this request to be closed with no further action! The world is a lot more complex than I used to think it was (especially with virtual events in there now too!).
|
FEATURE 244
Fetchpoint: flower dropping nudge On the same route flowers will try to drop on same places as before. Adding 80m, then 160m, etc, before regular route can be used=too much brain, less fun. Flower drop at open GPS point before used spot=great fun. |
FEATURE 239
On our training entries, have the ability to rearrange the order of the bespoke fields. |
FEATURE 229
Increase number of posts per page in forums or give an option to choose how many.
paul the builder says: Was going to suggest this also - glad to see it already here and fairly well supported.
paul the builder says: I don't really see a downside to having the option to go to 20 posts per page (other than losing some OMG!!! TOTP!!! "hilarity" )StuH says: I've voted yes, but wouldn't this break page numbering and any links thereto? |
FEATURE 227
Fetch wristbands! Simple red silicon wristbands with a FETCH logo would allow easy identification of Fetchies at events even if you don't wear Fetch kit (maybe because you wear another club's kit or because you just don't want to).
Pegg says: with the option to add ICE and medical details - I have a park run wristband just so I can be identified if someone finds me in a ditch. I'd rather have a Fetch one.
geordiegirl says: Like Peggโs idea controversial says: yeah ICE fetch wrist band would be great! |
FEATURE 220
Can we have a stats feature for Who Square Wins e.g. biggest/smallest win/loss score/margin, total wins/losses, longest win/loss streak see fetcheveryone.com/viewtopic.php?id=60346 |
FEATURE 216
It would be great to have an additional toggle on buddies to enable or disable the ability to see buddy-only blogs. |
FEATURE 205
parkrun course validation Add 'date created' to the route table to find the current course. Alternative suggestion could be to use the matching algorithm to show which might be alternative routes or add a comment section to allow notes on courses |
FEATURE 202Re FEATURE 113 (previous/ next month, could it work with 'dynamic' months as well? If I'm viewing the month up to 25 May (so from 25 April), I'd like to go to the next month ending at 25 April rather than calendar months. |
FEATURE 200Profile race bests - option to toggle "all races" and "standard distances only". Just Mile, 5km, 5mile, 10km, 10mile, half marathon, 20 mile and marathon (and 50km, 50mile, 100km, 100 mile - tho won't show up for most of us!). Ta! G

FEATURE 194
Fetchpoint: the game. Have the distance between flowers be based on the type of activity. Currently everything is 0.5 mi. Keep cycling at 0.5 mi, but running at 0.25mi and walking at 0.125mi (or a trail of breadcrumbs for every spot).
DocM says: top suggestion.
MisterTea says: In addition have a different watering 'chance' so that flowers are watered more often for running and walking than cycling JCB says: Yes, that random chance of watering flies in the face of planning, but changing the odds might be good. Or have it predictable for running/walking/etc MisterTea says: In my mind the flower return should be similar based on time training regardless of activity. |
FEATURE 188A four team version of Who Squares Wins. You get put in your House Cup team, and your collective efforts determine which house owns each square. |
FEATURE 186
Allow certain of your blogs to be tagged and viewed through those tags: e.g. New Year's Resolutions/state of health/distances to run this season/race reports. Tags created by user, not predefined. No idea how you'd present it. |
FEATURE 183
Show daily totals somewhere in the training log. the calendar view shows your weekly totals for running, cycling etc, but not daily totals which are really useful if you do several activities of the same sort per day. |
FEATURE 176ZenTaoPlurp 18th May 2019In Project Joker, it would be even better than it is already if the start date and/or benchmark time were alterable: to play around with the target paces so that they match what a runner feels that they can do. Otherwise, it has to be restarted. |
FEATURE 173
A badge for suggesting a feature that gets implemented.
chunkywizard says: Good idea, or maybe badges for number of suggestions, or no of implemented suggestions
AndyS says: I think a badge for "number of suggestions" may be counter-productive, since some folks will do anything for a badge - but a badge for an implemented feature sounds good. RunningRonnie says: Best part is, I can't fail to get this one... if this gets implemented, then I get the badge for suggesting this feature... however, if it does not then I don't get the badge as it does not exist. |
FEATURE 171
Fetchpoint inaccessible marking: Specify Scope and Duration. Scope = Global or personal (e.g. I don't swim so a point in water is inaccessible to me). Duration = Permanent/One year/One month (e.g. land being developed, road closed temporarily).
JCB says: Or COVID 19 social distancing in force...
|
FEATURE 156Re feature 150 - yes the clear plan does work - but it clears everything on it, not just numpty plan adding. Edited request: can we have a date range for the clear plan instead, please?
|
FEATURE 151Facebook style memories. Could see historic runs from this day 1, 2, 3... years ago.
fetcheveryone says: I like the idea, but I'm not sure where a page like this fits. Any ideas?
RunningRonnie says: Perhaps the Train --> Overview page. Maybe in its own module, similar to "recent entries" RunningRonnie says: Perhaps the Train --> Overview page. FEATURE 146
When you plot a route you are presented with an Elevation guide, which varies in scale from route to route. In order to be better able to compare elevation between routesโฆ OPTION 2: be able to have two routes in the same Elevation guide. This way you |
FEATURE 145
When you plot a route you are presented with an Elevation guide, which varies in scale from route to route. In order to be better able to compare elevation between routesโฆ OPTION 1: have the same scale for all routes. (OPTION 2 is a separate request) |
FEATURE 141JCB 10th May 2019In the training log, Entries listing, have a toggle box for each entry. New actions to process selected entries for (with confirmation box): 1. Flag for conquercise processing. 2. Delete selected. 3. Add kit. 4. Change activity type/sub-type. |
FEATURE 132Pinks 7th May 2019The ability to add non running pictures as 'buddies only' like blogs can be, sometimes a picture is in the gallery and says see blog but the blog is buddies only. |
FEATURE 128
On 'Analyse your Race Training', can each set of graphs use the same y axis to make visual comparison easier. |
FEATURE 127Switch between metric and imperial when recording elevation gain/loss
Surrey Phil says: If the metric/imperial option is available for distance, then shouldn't the same be for elevation?
|
FEATURE 121List current age group pb's for all distances either on Home page or the race page alongside the lifetime pb's |
FEATURE 119Automatically record weather data for your run based off the GPS data. Like klimat app |
FEATURE 107The ability, if you so desire, to share planned future runs, searchable by postcode or on a map, to allow other Fetchies (who you may not know via other means) to join you if they wish. Good if you're travelling and fancy running with company.
RogerB says: Or to generate heat maps of routes by exercise type (like Strava)
|
FEATURE 105Introduce an option to make 'Race Times' and 'All Races' in the profile private. Retain the banner with races, miles, PBs. |
FEATURE 97as well as being able to log calories and weight a feature to log alcohol units
njosmith says: commenting on this to see if it attracts attention of Fetch. Seems like an easy win for a longstanding feature request.
HappyG(rrr) says: It's got quite a lot of "Against" njo - don't know why anyone would vote against, but hey ho. ![]() |
FEATURE 96
Similar to FEATURE 42, would like a default setting on training e.g. my default for cycling would be commuting, running would be parkrun. Have to change it every time. |
FEATURE 88Diogenes 1st May 2019It would be good to be able to add photos to routes directly from the Fetch gallery
fetcheveryone says: The difficulty here is that the ROTD stuff all needs to be a particular size. Gallery photos vary.
flanker says: rescale on the fly? The uploads take any dimension (don't they?) so you must already be rescaling, so do the same for links to gallery pics. Bright Strider says: Perhaps use the same image as the source, but require the user to choose a selection that matches the format. This approach is often taken for profile pictures, so it is a proven approach. fetcheveryone says: I want the route pics to be the best they can be. So this means no loss of quality through scaling, and no awkward automated cropping. Bright Strider says: You could give the original poster the opportunity to edit (replace and improve) the image. Perfect can be the enemy of the good. Bright Strider says: You could give the original poster the opportunity to edit (replace and improve) the image. Perfect can be the enemy of the good. The ability to delete would be nice. |
FEATURE 84
WSW Tournaments. There could be tournaments from time to time. Each tournament could have defined rules (run-only, walk-only, 2x walking) or just use the regular rules. Each match in the tournament could be one week long (or different duration). |
FEATURE 79Deinonychus 30th Apr 2019Auto complete the run category (e.g. Easy, Intervals, Race, etc.) when you import a run and there is an existing run planned in the training plan.
fetcheveryone says: What if there are multiple entries in your plan for the day?
njosmith says: Leave it as general? |
FEATURE 76
An easy way of adding targets for upcoming races based on previous runnings of the same race. Either add a filter on your races to see previous attempts or when adding a race auto-magically show you previous results. |
FEATURE 73
Strava-like monthly challenges, run/ride specific distances of 10k or half marathon and receive a badge for that particular month - then be able to view on individual profile page. |
FEATURE 67Angus Clydesdale 30th Apr 2019The ability to assign default kit to all the sub-sections of training, so that Cycle-RoadBike defaults to my road bike and Cycle-MTB defaults to my mountain bike (etc, etc). |
FEATURE 63
Ability to plot kit vs distance over time (graph of increasing mileage) - interesting to see pattern of use over long periods. |
FEATURE 61andiflint 30th Apr 2019Shortcuts for regular manual training log entries that have preset type, distance, time, route, kit etc - for example 'Morning commute to station'. |
FEATURE 59
Ability to copy training entries (particularly manually entered ones) with the newly created entry opening straight to the edit page so that you can then save back with a different date. |
FEATURE 51
In the training log, be able to change the default settings eg. I like to see the pace per minute on the graph but it defaults to distance |
FEATURE 45How about creating a race entry and timing section for clubs to use like webscorer, where race entries are all managed on the fetch site along with results. Could add a lot of benefit to clubs putting their races onto the race section of the site |
FEATURE 43
How about a running shop directory with map. So runners can see what's nearby. Helpful if in New area. Fetchies can submit local shops they recommend. |
FEATURE 42
I would like to set a default surface and hilliness statin for my training - i.e. its nearly always 'undulating' and I have to change it every time |
FEATURE 35
Notification when you get a 'thumbs up' on a post |
FEATURE 13fetcheveryone 28th Apr 2019Seconds Bingo. A tracker that monitors your training log, awarding you a badge when you have collected training times ending in every value from 0 to 60 seconds.
FunkyPOM says: As per the parkrun chrome extension, good idea. And also Calendar bingo.
