Went along the path past the cricket club and across fields, as I have done before, but then took a path to the left instead of straight ahead. Jeffing long run
10 mins WU 5 miles 2:1 R/W 10 mins CD I decided to R/W the warm up. Over the fields to Humberston by which time I realised my route was short, so I headed down a side road. I got to our meet up point with just the CD to do, Geoff arrived 5 minutes later, so I cut the CD short. I realised that it would have been simpler if Geoff had driven me to the coast and I ran back. Lesson learnt. I really enjoyed the run and could have gone further, which is pleasing. I wore my racing vest, stocked with Tailwind and a KMC gel. I drank a bit but didn’t use the gel. The vest didn’t chafe.
