It has to be a run - cycles are for commuting, and swimming is for other people! Ideally temp in the low teens, dry, clear, no wind, and on tarmac! Ideally with trees/rivers around rather than urban landscape - so the cycle track of York work well!

Currently, 65% WAVA in the Yorkshire Marathon this year. Except Covid has screwed that as well as many things. It's more staying ahead of the curve on the 100 miles a month.... Longer term - keeping my speed/pace up as my age increases!
