About Me
I'd been a body abusing, clubber for so many years until my wife inspired me to start running. I used to run well at school but stopped on leaving, took up smoking full time and didn't put any running shoes on again until 2008. Didn't really take it too seriously (just over 500 miles across three years) until 2011, when I entered my wife and I in to our first marathon. The mileage went up and so has the addiction.
Been a bit slack since mid 2012, renovating our house and moving to New Zealand. Back at it now since Jan 2014.
Personal goals, in no particular order or indeed time frame:
To run 1000 miles (1609k's now we're in NZ) in a year. ACHIEVED 2015.
Sub 20 5k Sub 35 5M Sub 42.30 10k Sub 1.15 10M Sub 1.35 Half Sub 3.30 Mara
To have a WAVA of above 60 in every race for a year would be good I reckon. To have one race at a WAVA of 70 would be incredible. ACHIEVED 2015
Get to 70kg's (Currently hovering around 75-78kg's, having shifted a stone and half since June 2011.)

What's the biggest challenge that awaits you?
Getting anywhere close to the times I was running in 2011 and 2012 but I'm determined to get back there. Maybe 2021 is the year?
