About Me

I have been running since April 2005, I enjoy every aspect of running from training to racing. Target race for 2016 is Rotterdam Marathon where I hope to at least do as well as I did at Hamburg this year. My life has completely changed since taking up running and joining Fetch everyone, I have met loads of lovely like minded people and best of all I met my Wonderful Husband! :o)

Training paces

Long runs – 10-20% slower than goal marathon pace = 8:40 – 9:10

Med long runs – 10-20% slower than goal marathon pace = 8:40 – 9:10

General aerobic runs – steady pace = 8:20 – 8:40

Lactate threshold – 15k to half marathon pace = 7.29-7.40

VO2max – 5k race pace = 6:56

Recovery pace – relaxed, notably slower pace = 8:30 – 9:00

Marathon pace – marathon goal pace = 7:28

Current Status

If you hear me mention doing a spring marathon after this one in 2016 please shoot me! Winter training is not good!!
