Describe your ideal run, ride or swim.
Open countryside or woods, views, wildlife, time to stop for a photo and able to do it again the next day and the next ...

What's the biggest challenge that awaits you?
Keeping fit enough to keep going - achilles being the main risk. Investigated surgery a few years back - but advised it was only 60 - 70% chance of fix, and 3 - 4 months in a fixed boot ... so far managing with monthly physio and living with it.

What's your favourite thing about Fetcheveryone?
Only 250 chars? Firstly the logs - whether walking, running or cycling - and the maps and the times/elevations/splits etc etc Next - Fetch is online, never more than a few hours away and responds to all/any comments or requests. And the blogs/forums.

How do you pick yourself up when you need to?
To be honest, I very rarely need to, having an optimistic outlook. But generally focus on things that I can do something about. If I can't influence something, then why worry about it.

Whatβs the best bit of advice that you would give to new runners, bikers and swimmers?
Firstly - make sure you enjoy it. Secondly - listen to all the advice you can get, but then make up your own mind as to what makes sense for you.

About Me
Decided to take my retirement and focus on me time.
Running, hill & coastal walking and occasional cycling. But still not getting any faster.
