I am fundraising for Teenage Cancer TrustI always said I would never run a marathon, much as I love running, it is just too far. However, my boss lost someone dear to her to cancer a couple of years ago at far too young an age. As a result the Halle made a link to the Teenage Cancer Trust - and the task of running the London Marathon in 2017 was delegated to me.

I love running, it makes me very happy and I'd like to get a bit better at it. 2017 was all about - the Tour of Merseyside - 6 races, 7 days, 52 miles. Thrilled to win my age category. In 2016 I completed my Coach in Running Fitness qualification - primarily devoted to Resolution Runners, a group for beginner runners that I started up locally in 2015. I am also still coaching at Warrington's Spectrum Striders. When not running I work in arts' fundraising - for Manchester's Halle Orchestra. OH - aka Mr AL also runs (but not as far ) Leaflet (20) was recruited to the Resolution Runners last year, and even Twiglet (22) has been known to don running shoes...2018 will be dominated by VLM.
Race StandardZebra (55)
I think I may have found the faster runner I was looking for!
