About Me

Starting running more seriously during march 2007.Since then I have run 102 races, and even XC! Joined Cirencester AC in March 2009, and the training sessions had a great effect, especially on my speed. Mara time 4:14, Half Marathon 1:39.03, 10k now 44.04, 5k now 21.01. Never won the Cirencester AC Road Champs, RU twice, but now never will because I live in Stockport and I am a Harrier thereof. Really have no plans at all to run Marathons again, but would link 1-35 for a half, and 20.30 for 5k. My perennial probelm with running, islong runs, I do not like them! Ten miles is good for me, if I could crack that little foible I would improve considerably. CiRF qualified, will do level 3 at some point but now studying for an MA (probably) in Coaching Studies, so that level 3 is on the back burner. I am unsure where this Masters will lead but when I sit and consider it, I am amazed at what running has done for me. Dedicated hiker, 700 miles a year, pub visitor and beer and wine drinker, if training allows :-)
