I've been a runner for as long as I can remember. I was a 100m sprint specialist during my school years, before moving to long distance running around 2014 when I decided I wanted to run a 50k. Have completed 8 marathons and 3 ultras since then, and only plan on doing more!

Day 899. Hard day. Temps much higher than last week. Supposed to be 30k easy effort (~5:30/km) but I realised about 18km that today wasn't my day.
I had three gels and a 500ml bottle of squash during the run. I don't think I'd had enough to eat prior and I should have taken more liquid with me as I felt thirsty for most of the second half. Treadmill, would you believe it!
First time I've run on a treadmill for literally years. Set the machine pace to 5:15/km, but watch measured me faster than that.
