About Me
Started running in 2013 to try to deal with stress and anxiety, first race was the Edinburgh 10k, and I surprised myself with my time. Joined a local club, entered lots more races, and a year later ran my first marathon in Stockholm. 2015 saw a load more PBs, but went off the boil in 2016. Didn’t prepare enough for London Marathon, due to a dodgy knee, but ran it anyway and struggled. Couldn’t really pick myself up after that, and my running gradually petered out. 2017 was a very fallow year; only ran 70 miles all year, and my only race was a solitary Parkrun. 2018 moved house, joined a new club, and slowly started to get my running mojo back.

2019: Plan to continue the upward trend, and aiming for a return to sub 4:00 at the Loch Ness Marathon. So far have run my fastest 5K in nearly 4 years, so looking good.
