Random run lengths
feet soaked, so much water on the roads- some sunshine, lots of daffodils wind cold, but gloves lasted less than a mile and jacket not a lot further. Took a while for legs to warm up, once they did they were quite optimistic of the pace cv system could keep up with - tailwind down Stratford road probably helped.

Set off into the wind with quads trying to tell me they had run up and down Fusedale rather than the rspb yesterday - they didn't loosen up at all so the 30 minutes 'field test' at threshold effort on the plan was not going to happen. Instead of turning round at the church and running back on the road at effort, I went down sand lane and pootled home on mud instead

Choice was 60/90/90 mins, overachieved a little as I was halfway down Stratford road (to collect the rundles I'd deposited there when half asleep this morning), when I remembered the waxwing sighting on Sunderland road and decided that aged joints probably didn't want to run down the hill from the rspb anyway
Turned around and headed for Marshalls. No sign if they were there they were in someone's garden behind a fence and being quiet!
