Needed to take a couple of photos in specific locations (one for an Instagram post I need to do for a publisher and one as an idea for a potential tattoo) so I thought a hike might be in order
Happened to catch the 13X to East Dean. First time on the tourist bus - it takes the Beachy road to ED and it was gorgeous. Also plenty of cyclists on the way doing the local triathlon. It's peak tourist and EFL group season so my chosen route was stupidly busy but still beautiful. There were oodles of sheep in the field by the Red Barn and a stupid woman with her huge Irish Wolfhound off lead and she couldn't call it back once it had started chasing the poor sheep. Took a photo for a lovely couple with the lighthouse in the background. Downloaded another of Nicole's videos - Release and Unwind
This was really lovely. Super gentle and stretchy and perfect for end of day. Missed out on time on the mat this morning. I stayed in bed for a bit of extra sleep as I had woken suddenly in the night knowing I needed to throw up and throw up I did. So, the night was a tad disturbed and my day has been OK at work but I've just felt drained. This was a really nice 20 minutes. Also interesting to note that mobility in my left knee is better and less painful after warming up on the bike (the same happened at the physio on Weds - the run there was painful but knee mobility post run was better) Who knows? *shrugs* Namaste x 15th Jul 2024, 7:25pm

Having warmed up on the bike beforehand seemed to help a lot with knee mobility. Barely noticed it at all even in poses that have been quite painful/challenging lately. And the class itself was perfect. I wasn't feeling peppy or chatty but connecting with the usual crowd and just being "present" was a big help.
