Melksham runner As usual, very well organised race. Weather started cold but warmed up a bit within a short time of the start. I started steadily and gradually built up speed, but never went mad. The hills didn't seem as tough as they have done in previous years, but still needed to treat them with respect. In hidnsight I might have gone for it a bit more. This race was run less than 7 days after running 46 miles in the mountains north of San Francisco, so I was still sore and not completely refreshed.
