About Me

I started running at Christmas 2006 to improve fitness because I was bored of the gym. Sorry gym, but BodyStep is BodyStep but running is infinitely variable and challenging. I set myself the target of getting round a Half Marathon in 12 weeks and used a schedule from Running World. This was achieved in March 07 and I've run 12 more since out of a total of 75 events.

2013 it was all about the bike - LondonSurrey 100 miles to be exact.

2014 went a bit pear-shaped when I hit a car and broke my pelvis in the middle of June.

2015 hoping to be able to get on a road bike by the end of the year and put my own socks on without rolling round on the bed sometime.
