automatic shoes Slightly missed the start as I was still tightening up my laces when they sent us off without warning. (So the time is my watch time not the official time .) Aimed to ran at about 5.20 min/k pace, but quickly found this very hard to keep to. Was definitely struggling at half way and up the hill out of Wendover. But was able to fly (by my standards) down the hill between 7k and 9k, and clawed back a bit of time , but not quite enough to make my prediction. Maybe I was a little flat after my efforts during the week. But this is still one of my favourite 10Ks. Ware Joggers 52:03 52:03 53:00 53:28 56.52

Lieutenant Lucerne The same time as last year (and also same time at half way), which in the context of a high mileage week was better than expected.
