Ands Had a great race. Perfect conditions for me, the rain beats the heat bouncing off Scotswood tarmac any day. So busy concentrating on racing until the last second, I totally forgot to look at the clock when I crossed the line. I always use the 'line time' and don't wear a watch, so am dying to find out how I did. If anyone saw me (I think about 43 mins) let me know! I had matching red ribbons to my club vest (in my now 10th consecutive attempt to win the 'Blaydon Belle'!). Failed again! Just got the official result from Bob - yippee! A PB like everyone else! bigal What happened to usual Blaydon weather??? (hot and sunny). Rained all the way round so we got soaked and i loved every minute of it :-) . Started too far back,so had to pass lots of slower ppl at the start,didnt really get up to pace till field spread at Scotswood road. but really enjoyed race and met a few new fetchies. good times....
