About Me | |

Been running for ages on and off - did the first GNR in 1981 - although was only aged 13 at the time. I was mainly into cycling but started running again and was using running over winter to keep fitness until it seems to have taken over. I joined my local club in 2008 Forres Harriers and admit that I struggled to keep up at first - but can keep up with some of them - only just. They were daft enough to make me club secretary a few years ago.
Running highlights include the first three GNR, three Ascension Island Dew Pond Runs and have broken 1:35 for a half, and gone sub 45 for 10 k a couple of times. Ran 12 half marathons in 2012 for a local charity and in 2013 finally got around a full marathon in 3:44. Show More...
