Mountainmat I believe this is a flat 10k. I am hoping to find out what I am capable of for this distance, probably 36 - 38 minutes, But will have more idea after tomorrow's Desford 10k. Spud-runner After worrying about the high winds and heavy rain for 2 days, Lincoln finally got it right and booked awesome weather and (nearly) got off on time... 5 mins late. Well supported this year (nearly 5000 runners), and an enthusiastic crowd cheered pretty much the whole way round.Very close to my prediction and 1min51 slashed off PB. Am a little disappointed not to break 39mins as I also set a 5K PB on the way (19:02) but it looks good for later in the year. Thanks to those who bet on me, enjoy your winnings. Zeb Don't bet! Haven't run for weeks, might get a couple of weeks worth of runs in before, but that will be it. I'm going to do it, but it will be slow... anything under 1hr 15min will be brilliant. Over the moon with time. considering how little training I've done I couldn't have asked for better. Just need to get some miles in, and I reckon my 10k pb will be under threat.
