Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Disappointing run, great course which could have given PB, but calf was playing up from start, almost dropped out after 1 mile, very painful now. one day i'll manage a race without injury
Lyndylou
Relatively pleased with the result although would have loved to have got under 2 hours. The last couple of miles were really hard for me. Kept cramping up and having to stop and stretch. Still all done and dusted on definitely not enough training - must try harder is the motto from now on.
Prof Disco Dean
feeling good until last 2.5 miles finished up with pb but legs went a bit wobbly at the end! nice course and medal
Hectors House
First race back from injury - not fit so struggled in last few miles. Was also hot. Nice route though.
GameOver
Great Race! Will do it again next year!!!
Sheriff of Lentune
hot, hot, hot
GAZGIB
Started well running at 7:45 pace then got a terrible stitch at 3 miles and thought I'd have to drop out. Walked it off a bit but still struggled for the rest of the race.
dave the flower
all signs show I should be on for about 1.18 - Just missed out on target - legs were heavy at 8 miles and just about held on for the finish! New PB so happy
cakelover
ouch, struggled after 7 miles, reallllly struggled at 8, wearing knee supports on both knees as a result!
Jock Itch
Wont be a PB but hoping for a good showing here.
-Monty-
will not be racing. pleased with time and splits - 7.40 7.29 7.24 7.19 7.17 7.23 7.22 7.21 7.34 7.16. nice course. bit of a pain leaving but had no problems getting there and parking. good organisation.
*Anj*
Not racing, treated as a long slow run. Found it hard work today, legs heavy.
hillstrider
Rather disappointed with my time, but it was to be expected, as I haven't been able to get the miles in. It was very hot, as usual, but this wasn't much of a problem, as I was wearing my cap. Three drinks stations again was good, and they were in just about the right places.

This is probably my favourite race, and I have participated nearly every year since the eighties. I hope to be able to continue to return year after year.
Mudeford1965
Prediction a bit optimistic, however I'm happy with the time, it's 2 and a half mins quicker than last year. It was hot and humid today, but a good course with three drink stations which were well placed.
martin K
another good race and lookingto do it again next year
Loulie
Very humid
Harbs
Was hoping to beat last years time but not done enough training .
Great result went a lot faster in first 5 miles and tried to hang on.
Swain
Very tired after a week away with school!
