The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free.
But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient.
Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead.
Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?
Sorry Scribbler, I was obviously not listening hard enough on my run thinking it was Elsie. In my defense I wasn't feeling 100% on my run.
Good for her though, and what a good thing Soup is, I've not ever heard of anything like that.
As for real soup, I usually like home made thick veg soup, with a touch of turmeric or cayenne, but recently I've had a real hankering for Heinz tomato soup... not something I've seen out here though
I made leek, onion and sweet potato soup. There was black pepper, paprika, turmeric, chilli flakes 5 spice in it also. Very warming as may have been a little heavy handed with the paprika.
Whoo hoo I have my badge. Great podcast and the perfect length as I have been doing the dishes and preparing lunch and breakfast for tomorrow and we both finished at the same time.
Great episode, listened to it (nearly) all on my run tonight. Not yet got quite far enough to get my badge yet.
Roasted squash and red pepper soup is my current favourite.
My mum used to say the 'patience is a virtue' rhyme a lot. It was lovely to hear Katie say it.
And I completely agree with BaronessBL's presenting skills. I was listening to the Archers piece from the previous podcast earlier and that thought had crossed my mind then.
I'd so love to be involved in a SOUP event, but it looks like there's not one near me. I guess the next thing it to try to work out how to start one!
Thanks also to Strutbrother for his piece, is always great to hear run reports, especially with reports mid run.

Contributors We love getting contributions. Here's how:
1) find somewhere with minimal background noise 2) recording on a smartphone is fine 3) start with "Hello Fetchies, it's..." 4) a couple of minutes is a good length 5) don't worry about ums, aahs and pauses. We can edit them out. 6) email the file to podcast@fetcheveryone.com
