Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

WOW - PB on this course! I am so motivated to continue with my marathon training - just as a I thought I wasn't getting any better.
tried to run evenly but hills broke my rhythm.ran out of energy at 10 miles.must use energy gels in future.enjoyable run with good spirit from fellow runners.
What can I say..... hilly! nice medal!
Louis Clark
planned on using as a lsr, and did. Felt awful, had to stop about 4 times on last lap to be sick, must be a bug or something!
Good race apart from that, excellent marshalling on busy roads, undulating but not too tough. My local half from now on!
Undulating/hilly course over a small lap and two big laps starting & finishing at Woodford Green Running Track. The weather conditions were perfect, the race was very well organised with plenty of marshalls around the course, there was a good crossing system during the race for runners to cross the busy roads. The medal at the finsih was really nice & even a goody bag, which contained a very needed mars bar & glucose drink!.
I found the course quite tough, with all its undulations, but enjoyed the downhill sections! Nice medal. 11th Female. 5th Senior Female.
had a good run. got the pace right. i loved the course. came 34th but was first m50 home. not a bad mornings work.
There are some great half marathons in March, with loads of atmosphere and great scenery. There's also this one......
Personal Best achieved. Came in overall 9th, very very pleased. I think I judged the pace about right as I really did not want to push all out on this, I think on this occassion I could have put a little more effort in on the first half and thus would have come in about a minute quicker. Still great to have a negative split. Now time for a nice pint :)
will run at PMP
Siamese Pete
Will be a lst minute decision to run or not
Happy to go sub 70 on the back of loads of miles, also happy to come 1st;) Wasn't a full on pb attempt so not too worried to be 10 seconds off.
