About Me
I used to run to keep fit for years until my wife got me in to entering races and have not looked back. I am very competitive and get a big kick out of overtaking people in a sprint finish - the closer to the actual line the better! I am looking to start to ramp up the training in preparation for FLM 2008 and dabble in some cross country. I did not know why I really enjoyed running until someone asked me "Why?" after I told some colleagues about a run in the rain I did at the weekend. My reply was: It is because of the rush that I get glancing down at my watch at the 10M marker in a half marathon, realising that a PB is on. When you hold on for the last 5K and actually do it, the feeling is unreal. They of course still think I am mad
