Hi ,

Describe your ideal run, ride or swim.
A nice long Sunday run, in the valleys of mountains, fresh air filling my lungs, views for miles and miles around, bumping into the odd runner along the way. Twenty miles plus is a must. At the end feeling tired but so happy you dont want to stop.

What's the biggest challenge that awaits you?
After a lot of running last year I need to figure out what my goals are. Not sure I am up for the 80+ mile weeks. One side says go for 2:36 marathon (5:59 per mile) but other side says just enjoy it. Might give the 95 mile WHW race a bash next year.

What's your favourite thing about Fetcheveryone?
The forums, being able to chat to like minded people, or dip into the sub 2:45 marathon forum for inspiration, or the ultra forums to talk to like minded dafties. I love the stats, they dont lie, so many many stats, I love them.

How do you pick yourself up when you need to?
Long term, I just look at my belly and tell myself, "dont be a fat bast8rd". Short term, I put out my running kit the night before so its all ready and waiting in the morning.

What’s the best bit of advice that you would give to new runners, bikers and swimmers?
Make a plan & start slow. Far far too many people start from nothing & go overboard, then stop as its too hard. Start slow and build up gradually. Just as important-find a running mate, they make it easier to get out the door. Once outside u love it.
