Out and back easy r/w, shame the church doesn't have a trig point - bit of a direction fail there, the route hadn't sync'd to watch properly and was going on memory - later on there were lots of stops to check map on phone so must remember to print a paper one next time
picked pack up from car for the loop.
Been a while since I've run with full pack and poles attached and could feel the extra effort needed.
Finally remembered to eat something somewhere in mile 6 and walked with a mini chia charge flapjak for a bit.
lots of jacket on/offs for short sharp hailstorms.
missdirected when I missed the footpath sign (see pic once I load it) as no path on ground across two fields of field beans. very muddy.
Some Garminumptiness in mile 7, fell over jarring back and paused watch whilst I sat feeling sorry for self for a while and forgot to start it again.
road was busier than expected and spent too much time jumping onto and walking along rough verge to avoid being squashed.
through woods where felling work has been going on made for an interesting lack of path.
last mile or so into a strengthened wind.
changed shoes, walked to cafe and devoured a tuna roll
Overall pleased with that, average pace came out OK considering
Probably should drink more, half abottle of zero isn't enough.
