Alun Did this last year after waking up on race day and thinking what the hell. Will be doing the same this year as well.

Yippee, sliced 3 or more minutes off my PB and this year's course was tougher (more hills). Medway & Maidstone AC 1:05:36 1:09:42 1:15:00 1:09:42 66.11
Ashgreeno69 Never Run 10 miles but it is my local race and am determined to finish some big hills though me thinks
For first crack at 10 miles well pleased i ache now but it was a good course with a few hills liked the middle part of
the race through the country lanes last mile up hill was a killer Well run race just five minutes walk away so ideal Unaffiliated 1:19:05 1:26:16 1:30:00 1:26:16 52.27

Kevski If you bet on me, your quids inb! (well, Fetchpoints anyway!). Negative split, overtook all the way and never got over taken and not far off of 6 min miling towards the end! Put the effort in and beat target of 64 minutes. 3 weeks of racing and all goals achieved! Magical feeling! Really well organised race too. :)

Martian Dashes Started this race a little faster than I should and quickly ran into trouble (ha ha). It turned into a good training run though.
I thought I was actually picking the pace up after losing focus in the middle. However seeing that Lokomotiv Kevski took 50 seconds out of me in the 2 miles after he steamed past perhaps I was just not going backwards as fast.
Fine job by DRR on this race. Unaffiliated 1:01:20 1:04:33 1:04:33 76.29
MartinCunningham Not going for a PB... and the result is 9 secs outside my best. A somewhat hilly route by comparison with Sidcup 10 where I achieved the PB so relatively speaking this is a very good time. (time is provisional as it is watch time... but its almost certainly right) Unaffiliated 1:03:35 1:12:30 1:12:30 65.67
martynjlane New PB for 10 miles! Good race, well organised with very encouraging stewards. Good route with nice mix of hills and flat. Unaffiliated 1:14:27 1:14:27 1:14:27 59.93
MAXIMUS My first 10 mile road race. I thought it was well organised and marshalled. Probably could have gone a bit faster. But i was worried about conking out at 6 or 7 miles. Thanks to Kev for the mid race chat. Kent Police AC, Sittingbourne Striders 1:21:49 1:23:20 1:31:49 51.85
Micksta Went better than I expected! was aiming for 70-75mins with all my time out and the right knee less than 100%. so get under 70mins was a good tonic. Course had changed since I last remembered it, first have quiet hilly in places, 2nd half had a long stretch into headwind followed by a hill to finish. First two miles I was hopeless, knee loosened so I rallied midrace, then last mile or so just began to lose pace, just lack of race training. Invicta East Kent AC, Maidstone Harriers 57:12 1:01:38 1:06:20 66.33

Referee Timre now official, first half very hilly, next 3 miles into strong head wind and just to finish another hill up for the last mile.Good race and well organised plus a pb. Dartford Road Runners 1:06:39 1:11:11 1:14:00 1:13:56 64.93
Rick OShay Tough old course (pretty much the same as the Dartford half). Lots of inclines. I pushed it too hard on the first couple of hills and struggled somewhat towards the end.

Figured that next time I race at the weekend, I will look to taper more effectively as I felt pretty tired having had only one day rest after a lot of miles last week. Harvel Hash House Harriers 1:21:00 1:21:00 1:22:00 1:21:00 56.44

SherryB Wasn't sure what to expect as I've never done 10 miles before and had been unwell the previous week. Great running weather, bright but breezy. Knew to expect steep hill at mile 3 and long drag on last mile. The last couple of miles were really tough for me - physically and mentally, but I kept going, though I really slowed down. Pretty pleased with the time. Petts Wood Runners, Reebok Running Group 1:50:26 1:50:26 1:49:00 1:50:26 48.09
Sting Ray Gutted, i pulled my calf muscle at the start of the race, had 9.98 miles to go!
Definately do this course again! Hills are short enough to power up. Dagenham 88 Runners, Pitsea Running Club, Flyers Southend 1:13:30 1:21:56 1:25:00 1:28:21 49.80
terryf hilly first half.started too far back and wasted energy overtaking.2nd hill was akiller and i walked some of it.after that got into a good pace and felt ok.enjoyed it. Unaffiliated 1:13:49 1:22:30 1:25:00 1:22:30 60.73
