Woman in my club ran Mens race earlier in season, so it's not a one way thing (same league Larkim is talking about).
FWIW I reckon one short (7k ish) and one long (12k ish) mixed gender race at each fixture would work. Results processors would have an additional step to separate genders, but this wouldn't be insurmountable.

Excellent RHB. I've heard Nick announce the arrangements for the women's races, it does seem entirely right they should allow the reverse.
Actually, for a male mid pack runner the prospect of being up in the top 20 of the women's race appeals to me

Really enjoyed the Midlands at Leamington. Great course, even if the famous ditch wasn't quite as formidable an obstacle as in previous years. Decent amount of mud and the odd hill which you really felt by the third lap, but plenty of firm runnable ground along the old golf fairways.
First non-counter for the club so had to put in an honest effort incase any misfortune befell our top 6, but no need to totally bury myself and could enjoy the run

I was marshaling the midlands today, top of the hill, it looked like a great course using the newly available sections of the golf course. Feedback seemed really positive from everyone, although the third lap looked tough for the senior men!

Cheers abm, it was a great event. And yes the 3rd lap was bloody hard work!

I was certainly glad we 'only' had 2 laps! Enjoyed it and was like a new venue with all that extra space over the golf course!
U, I was cheering and jeering at the ditch for your race and saw lots of you HP chaps but didn't shout you as wasn't sure which was you!! Well done, all looked strong. Only saw one full-on fall there and another one at the previous bog area where there was a slippy wooden bridge. Great day all in all and grateful to all who organised and marshalled the event.

If you're on FB, have a look at Stephen Lee's video of the ditch of dreams!! Mind you, looked very dry compared to when I've run it in other years Stephen's photos are always great - look forward to seeing them when he puts them up.

Thanks Stilldreaming I think today's photos are going to be pretty random...was having a play at trying to blur runners going through the ditch....somewhat unsuccessfully 😂

As an aside my Garmin says I covered 14,500 steps chasing the runners around getting photos today!
