About Me
10 years ago, I was a runner. Then my asthma got worse, I got swine flu and was in intensive care, ended up on oxygen and using a wheelchair and diagnosed with COPD. I went to pulmonary rehab and gradually built up on exercise and now I'm back and doing a 'batshit crazy challenge,' as Velociraptor called it, running from London to Florida, 4350 miles in 2017, including 100K, 100 miles and 10 marathons in 10 days for Caudwell Children to say a huge thank you for taking us on their Destination Dreams wish trip to Florida in December 2016. While I have been away, Wills has had rejection, intestinal failure again, a second multi organ transplant, a usually fatal complication from said transplant.... He's a survivor! It's been stressful! I missed running and I missed Fetchies!
