I found it much easier going than Donnington last year with the swampy bits short and sharp with most of the course pretty runnable. Sympathy for the fallers and the many lost shoes, one of those events that I was grateful that I didn't have a long journey home afterwards

I suspect there's no universally accepted course muddiness measurement, but I'd guess today's was up there with the muddy ones. A grand day out, beat my old sparring partner from the Kent league ( I lost to him in this year's league). Cake and prosecco consumed, and home by 10o'clock.
