Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Sorry to hear of your injury, Bowman 🇸🇪 Interesting to read about backpacks affecting balance & posture - I've never run with one.

NordRunner I don't think the mist will last long, judging by the blue sky -I'm assuming this is dawn.

8.45pm tonight, and the 30mph WNW wind and I will call it honours even. No rain, but sand blown off the dunes added to the 'fun'. Beach to sea wall was 'assisted', then the lull before taking on the hoolie. Almost side on up the beach to the baths, then dodging round sand banks on the prom before heading to base. 61 min. I suspect pace may well be down.... ;)

swittle cheers, it will probably be fine, I’ve pushed it a little bit last few days cus it’s been a while since it felt really effortless like it does now. That can be dangerous:) But I read about it a little bit and it seems to be Morton neuroma, a nerve that gets a little pinched in the foot. Hopefully it will subside if I run a little less and let it cool down a bit.

About the rucksack, I was really surprised about how good it was with a “real” running one from Salomon, they fit really well and doesn’t skip around at all. Very comfortable way to carry some water, a jacket and other small tings.

A short one today, still some pain in my foot.
Probably something like Morton neuroma. But not sure.
Will take it easy for a while.
But damn it’s boring when you have a lot of energy in your legs.

I had a slow but enjoyable parkrun. I wore my fetch buff (the stripy one). I was bullied. I don't really look like a Tunnock's caramel wafer, do I?

No Parkrun today due to abdominal pains on Friday night. Had a rest day from running and only did 30 press-ups and 45 calf raises on each leg. Feel fine now and back at work tonight.
Will give Parkrun a go next Saturday

A 5k this morning after a cold had prevented me getting out for a few days. Funnily the cold was about as bad as the Covid the week before. Would have got out yesterday but a hangover didn’t mix well with the remainder of the cold :)

Chichester 10k this morning, had been hoping for a pb on this, but we had had a bit of a breeze and some drizzle (to put it lightly) that put paid to that, I'm not too dissapointed to only be a minute out given the conditions

Great running everyone, whether it be piling on the miles or keeping things ticking over.

A wet and blustery 14 miles this morning. Fought off the urge to cut short do hopefully the willpower side is improving too.
