Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Sensible dialling back - and pushing on too. :)

Last night, fresh WSW breeze made for better progress north up the beach. Tide out, flat, firm sand helped too. Turned @ coastguard station car park back to the baths, then tough going on deep, negative camber sand on the prom before trailing it back to base. 1 hr.

Nice running people!
Swittle at the beach, feels safe to hear! :)

A very short run for me today, but by choice and not necessity, that nice :)

Take care out there!

Frustrating!

Started off ok, then it started to rain. I dont mind running in the rain, but this was fine mizzle which got my glasses wet and then they steamed up, so I had to keep stopping to wipe them.
On top of that, I chose a route through town but including paths which constantly seemed to have people walking on them. So I had to either run in the road, or stop and shuffle past. Felt I never really got going.

Won't do that again.

I had a bright pleasant day for my long run today.
I had been keeping my runs slow and easy this week (after a parkrun and a race against strong winds on Sunday), but I decided to let go today.
16 miles at a reasonable pace, so I feel the training for April is coming along fine.
Rest day tomorrow, easy run on Friday, parkrun on Saturday and a 5 mile race on Sunday coming up.
