Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

It’s annoying when the flow gets interrupted hunky.
Sounds nice minimag! Always a good feeling to have that extra energy!

4 miles this morning. Went out for a 5k initially but it felt like I was struggling so just used the first mile to sort my head and settled into a 4 miler instead (which I needed as i've been stuck in a rut since covid then a cold shortly after).

A slow short but comfy trailish run.
Still no nerve pain. I’m happy with that.

Well done all on the progress either with the running or the recovery.
I've been out for a 5K and a bit this morning. Watch died near the end and ended up with a bit extra after making sure i did the 5K.

Nice one Elduderino, Watch malfunctions sucks though.

I had a lovely run in the sun today, even though i used the culprit shoe from the nerve pain a while ago for the first time, and because of that kinda felt my way forward, it became a nice and comfortable, even negative split, tempo run, one of those days when you have lots of energy and it just feels great.

Some wise approaches to managing niggles and nurturing motivation here :)

Glad you've let that shoe out of training jail, Bowman πŸ‡ΈπŸ‡ͺ :)

9pm last night, dry, with a 25mph WNW wind. Greeted a group of teens sampling 'fragrant' baccy, then diagonally down the beach to within 50 yards of the radar tower - tide a long way out. Docks & coastal park, and another round against the wind before I'd done. 62 min.

A really enjoyable 10 miles at easy pace where I didnt, for once, have any trouble keeping my heart rate down.
Also the sun was shining and there was no wind
