Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I’m better if I get it done before work. Once it’s lighter I will get out just after 5.00am and then I get longer runs done :-)

Mind you I don’t think I could do a night shift job.

LipGloss I couldn’t do a day job. I have worked nights only for most of the last ten years. Wednesday was my night off but because of been dads taxi service for the youngest and my wife been at home (late to bed after we took dog for longish walk, had a leisurely breakfast)only managed a 2.75 mile run and some exercises in the evening.
Hope everyone has a good days running

My choice - to run at night- was taken originally to avoid hecklers. That theory was blown apart last night when four shadowy teenaged cyclists in black whizzed past me as I warmed down, calling out greetings and, ''Ave a good 'un, mate!'

I was flattered, as I'd just finished an hour over sand & turf through Waterloo & Crosby, and I can't have looked too bad! :)

Had hoped to mix up tonight's 4 miles but found it tough from the off.

Tried to keep it slow and easy after my long run this week, just an easy 10k today, rest tomorrow, and then another easy on Saturday.

Sunday is a 10k pb attempt

Sadly only managed 2 miles. The wind was too brutal and in my face but hey better than nothing.
