Unplanned distance or I couldn’t make my mind up what was most beneficial for body or head . It was heart over mind or something like that , probably ended being a compromise. I had soothing classical music and took joy in the freedom just doing foot stuff. Even in the last half a mile hadn’t made a decision on stopping, but I had no drink with me and so had a built in limiter for the duration. Most satisfying 😀

parkrun at Ecos, round a wetland/bog/water meadow nature reserve. It's one of my favourites, but last done exactly 13 months ago on 29th Feb 2020. Mild for the time of year but where the wind had a chance to get through the trees it made itself known. Definitely good for my head. I had anither fail of trying to compare my new Galaxy Watch4 (not terribly easy to use for a run without reading glasses) and my Garmin 235. Last time I started the Garmin, not the Watch4, this time the opposite. Always next week,I suppose!

Good running all.
Uni of Stirling parkrun for me today. Battled with the wind and happy with how I ran.

Kept up with the pacer at parkrun for the first 2k, then fell behind. I've missed a bit of training due to giving blood earlier in the week. I'll get back to normal soon.

Well done, those who braved Storm Malik! It was just before 9pm yesterday when I got out, and the storm had left a calling card in the form of a 20mph NW wind - modest compared with some reports I've read today. High tide drove me 100 yards further up the beach but the wind had swept away some of the soggier trail sections. Lakes, coastal park, docks and tacking up the beach covers it. 61 min.
