Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I'm relieved to have got the virtual spine done today. It took me every day in Jan and I did 10 km extra at 425 km. Even though that was in winter with some snow and ice and 7500 m up, the thirty nights of sleep made it a breeze in comparison to the real thing, no doubt whatsoever.

Started on my normal run but veered off, deciding to go up THE HILL. Only problem is that THE HILL is along country lanes and it was twilight, so coming back it was a bit dark.
Felt good getting THE HILL in though, will make it easier next time its a bit flatter.

- I initially thought of this: imdb.com

Fresh WNW wind and an incoming tide enlivened by it informed route tonight. Large 'U' down prom & up beach, then costal park, leisure centre and by the dunes to Burbo Bank, thence, wind assisted along the beach, sea lapping at my feet. Prom, small lake & back to start. Watch operator error but ca 61 min.

Was going to be 10-11 miles with 25 minutes tempo however winds of 40 plus mph has changed that to a dumbbell and resistance band day with today’s run put back to tomorrow

Very stiff legs still, so my 10 miles was good training on tires legs. Felt ok, but no oomph in the legs at all :)

I had to do my long run today as I had faded so badly yesterday, the toughest long run I have done so far. The outgoing journey was fine, but the return journey was against 20mph winds. Still, pleased I did it, but I'm going for a lie down now!
