Dennis from Downstairs More a day out than a race. No pens for the start so was dodging slower runners and walkers right from the start until 6-7k despite not being a fast runner. HermanBloom Can only echo the majority of other comments on here. It was very busy. If you go in a group I think it would be a lot of fun, but as a solo runner this time there was a lot of standing around at the start and then a lot of running around slower runners and walkers until the 6k mark (and as others have also said, I do not class myself as in any way a fast runner!). SherryB I've heard it takes a long time to cross the start line. I'm doing this off the back of a 9 mile run across the South Downs the day before so not sure if my legs will be cooperative as I haven't done this back-to-back mileage for a while (maybe if ever).
