CD Wonderful beach start and finish. Great scenery along the way. Must do race. Scunthorpe & District AC 2:20:04 2:20:04 2:25:24 48.39
ebox I love the coastal. For one thing, it goes past my favourite castle (Dunstanburgh). It also has a beach, trail run, some on road, with a killer finish on the beach in soft sand Claremont Road Runners 1:37:58 1:42:06 1:42:06 69.53

Grey Badger Weather was perfect clear skies and just a nice headwind to keep us cool. Very well organised event by Alnwick Harriers. Nice tee shirt and just the most beautiful scenery you could ask for. Hip and leg gave me a lot of jip but came in well under my estimated time. jazz Pleased with my time as faster than last year although conditions were much better this year. Race was well organised & marshalls very friendly & encouraging. Think I now prefer this sort of distance as opposed to 10k's as not as painfull + have got a second wind at about 10/11 miles in last few races of this sort of distance. Tynedale Harriers & AC 1:37:57 1:39:59 1:39:59 69.50
Lisrun This is a fantastic race ! Scenery is just superb. Last time I did it in 2005 it was hot and it was a long way to the first water station. I will carry some water this time. *After* A hot day, but the scenery in this race is great. Very pleased to improve my time by 6 minutes over two years ago (although it was hotter that year). Good technical tee shirt to all finishers. 100 Marathon Club, North East Marathon Club 1:58:38 1:58:58 2:05:00 1:58:58 61.86

nochickenstrip It's a 14 Miler, a PB is guaranteed as I've never ran this distance before! Looking forward to this point to point coastal run. RESULT: Tide was out so there was loads of corners to cut, right with the front pack for the first beach section, great run, tough but fun. Distance was 13.2 in the end, my 33rd position was nice out of the 800 runners! Will book this again for next year. Crook & District AC, Durham Triathlon Club 1:22:38 1:29:28 1:33:40 1:29:28 70.19
RununMan Really looking forward to this one, although not quite sure what to expect apart from fantastic coast line.
No idea of time, im running under a mates number, so might just run and enjoy the view. Will see on the day.
15/7 - What a great route, pleasure to run it, but tough going at times - sand, rocks, water, more sand!! Although the distance was only about 13.2 mile, so not a true 14 iler. Decided to give it a go and ran quite well, another strong finish which i was pleased with. Can't wait for this one next year. Finished 20th. Birtley AC 1:20:40 1:27:27 1:40:00 1:27:27 74.56

Sonneur37 Lovely day for it. Blew up a bit after an hour so must have started too fast. Felt pretty wasted towards the end but thank heavens the sand at Alnmouth was reasonably firm. Delighted to knock 4 mins off last years time Unaffiliated 1:49:46 1:49:46 1:54:00 1:49:46 61.92
stoxy Bl@@dy hard but great race! Kirkstall Harriers 2:27:33 2:56:00 3:00:00 2:56:00 39.33
