Alfa_Scud A great race, extremely well organised with loads of parking, & well signed water stops. I was just using it as a training run for Edinburgh, so though I'd trot round. Anyway, must be because I wasn't worried, but I felt great and managed to get a PB of 1.30:48 - what's all that about?? Well chuffed, but it's all bound to go to pot in the marathon now, just like last year :-( Trawden AC 1:28:48 1:30:48 1:34:00 1:30:48 65.85

\J\ Dead chuffed with time (PB) as I have not done a half race for 2 years... Really enjoyed first half even with the hills, not so keen on the run back to Keswick on road.. Elvet Striders 1:31:57 1:31:57 1:36:00 1:31:57 63.88

Chris Worthers The best course I've ever run. The scenery is constantly changing and the conditions were perfect today. Struggled up the hills but powered down them. Loved the bottled water every few miles. Didn't like the traffic at the end but this race was well worth the 2 hour drive and 3s off my PB was an unexpected bonus. jeleigh wonderful run, fantastic setting, hills!!, great supporters, felt great and didn't have a bad moment. thought the hills would mean a slow time but beat my pb by over 2 minutes. Unaffiliated 1:52:34 1:52:34 2:00:00 1:52:34 59.18
Debstir Thoroughly enjoyed this race, even with the hills! Think the company had something to do with it (thanks Jo R) :-) Really pleased with my non-sub-2hr time as I was only meant to be treating this as a training run, so 33 seconds over is nothing! Absolutely stunning scenery, would definitely consider doing it again. Unaffiliated 1:54:25 1:54:45 2:00:33 54.19
