I waited 25 minutes then decided I'd probably missed them. It turned out they were running an hour late. Which is quite impressive for barely seven miles. I then got chased by a chav on a motorbike on a cycle path who would have had more luck if he knew how to change gear. I laughed at him when I stopped to give him a chance. He wasn't amused. Otherwise, rather a pleasant but muggy ride.

Flatlander Aug 2017 3:41pm, 25 Aug 2017 834 posts	0 Flatlander Today was too nice (warm, very light breeze although picking up throughout the day) not to go for a lovely ride, then I picked up my yoga kit and went to gym. 27 miles at at outstandingly fast (for me!) average speed of 14.0mph - I haven't attained that speed since I got old ;-). That shows the benefit of a virtually breeze less day :-).
