To St. Ives on my lovely Hewitt against a stiff wind. The outward 12 miles took 61 minutes (I'm slow anyway!), but the 10 miles back with a strong tailwind were done in only 37 minutes :-). The return average was 16mph, unheard of for me these days :-p, and that was with carrying shopping!

Along the canal, achingly lovely just now. Unfortunately, on the way home, rather a lot of wind.

It was fairly breezy here as well, but my long way round route through the countryside to my hospital appointment was reasonably sheltered. The total was 40 miles, and because I finished so late and was in a hurry, the 10 miles home took only 45 minutes despite going through the town in late rush hour.
