10 minute warm up, 3 mile at Threshold, 10 minute cool down. It started to rain as i stepped out the door, so i went back in to stretch a little more, until it stopped. Got very stared at by a group that looked like runners. All dressed in tracksuits and trainers, but none of them looked like they were ready to come with me.

Sticking to the mara plan of 10 miles but did it nice and easy to recover from Saundays' race properly. Had a great run, 10 miles doesn't seem so far now for a mid-week run which is quite bizarre really:0)

Also saw 8 ducks, 3 squirrels and lots of dogs while going through the local country park, I'm usually trying to concentrate on pace but was very relaxed today and noticed alot of nature stuff. It chucked it down 5 mins after I got in ....which was nice!

8.6 miles at 6 am this morning. Started off pretty slow cos I was half asleep, but picked up the pace nicely towards the end. Getting there - woohoo!

Tempo 4 miles along the canal bank.
But how many midges did I end up eating?!!
Does this count towards my carb loading or are they mainly protein?
