TMW, you are a star! Well done mate! Awesome performance on the RNR :-).
I went for a little fell run with Heidi. Unfortunately on Monday Heidi dislocated her little toe so today was her first run since then. We both enjoyed the nice steady 7.5 miles in the Peak District. It was lovely.
Alien, I wouldn't call that wimping out. Well done

Nice work all...despite the fact that I only ran 10 miles (a mere warm-up compared to some here), after yesterday's run, it felt s good to run easily and with a bit of speed. (Yesterday, I felt as if I was pulling a plow.) The weather is beautiful here in as well. I managed a few intervals, the best of which was a 6:01 mile. Very nice start to the day (remember we're five hours earlier), so now I'll be watching some football ManU v. Arsenal to be followed by American football Cleveland v. Cincinnatti. Go Gunners! Go Browns!

Very good. Controlled and just inside my hoped for time. Pain was limited to the last mile.

Over the moon with my run today - a hilly 12.5km race. The only race I'll do this year (given start and finish in village I live in in rural N Wales). First 2.5km very hard - climb up to just below 950feet and undulating thereafter. Came home, after a bad patch at 10km, in 51:45 (7th overall I've been told). Makes all the hours training (mainly on the treadmill) all the more worthwhile!

well done everyone on the norfolk relay - i enjoyed reading your reports - very inspiring and sounds like a lot of fun!
john bach - if you're in north wales why not join me for the anglesey 10k next week?! its flat (almost) so should be a doddle after your hill run!
i cant wait to get out again after being stuck in a car all week driving through europe - only managed one run despite seeing lots of lovely places. drove through 5 countries yesterday and drove 600 miles! think my legs have forgotten how to run!

Great 9 miles for me. Could have gone on and on... starting to feel more confident about finishing the GNR now. In fact, can't wait!!!

Gobi
My run was shocking but a look at the RNR thread may provide a clue.

Not too bad, 3 miles, 29minutes, nice and slow Gobi, not a PB in sight.
Was thinking of 6 miles but forgot my legs fell off in Lessingham Norfolk, and it was a bit chilly with all the feathers I lost in the final half mile of my race on Saturday.
