Sounds good Katie.
I've just been for my second run since the marathon. Took it nice and steady apart from a couple of hills where I decided to go much faster. Quite pleased but my HR was climbing a bit and staying there so I jogged at recovery pace for the last mile. 5.6 miles, enjoyed it

FR, Well done you too! I wish 8min miling was my PMP!
I'm pondering over that one FR but I think I may have to wait til 2007 now. I'm doing a few 10Ks, GRIm and the Worksop Half mara oh and a 10 miler in Keswick Cumbria so I think I have enough mid distance stuff to keep me happy til next spring and I'm aiming for Prague and maybe Berlin

Hello all, sounds like a mostly good training days. Katie, I've been considering adding weight training to my routine. Doubt that I’ll get the same sort of stares as you.
My run today was embarrassing. I ate a steak sandwich about 90 minutes before running, and I felt like I ate a bowling ball. I shuffled through a sluggish five hilly miles.

Well done TMW, fantastic run. Well done to all the other RNR'ers.
I had a fantastic run today, and a good weekend for running when I thought it was going to be really tough.
I did 22 miles in 3:20 today, so not particularly fast, but one of the most enjoyable runs I have done in a long time. I ran from my house to Windsor Great Park, did a big loop around the park and ran back home by a slightly different route. The weather was absolutely glorious and the speed was slow enough to make the run feel quite easy, even after yesterday's fairly fast 10 miler. Now for another easy week and just 5 weeks before Abingdon - and Windsor half marathon next week.

Wowsers! Some really good distances and times going on here. I idled me way round a half mara route then found a hill or two to run up for afters. Well, I had to do something to show willing and support the Norfolk folk.
I wimped out at just short of 16 miles in all.
