This sounds nice - me and Jezzer's 20th anniversary too
Not as quick as hoped, but chopped a few min off last year. Weather was no problem once the race started.
Enjoyed this despite the stormy weather.
Finished 66th. Wet and Windy. Found "The Birstwith Brute" ok, but the next two hills were tough. Also found it quite hard to get momentum going on the downhill sections thanks to the wind that always seemed to be straight into my face. Overall relatively pleased with result (faster than Harewood), but slightly disappointed not to break 70mins.
Awful weather, massive hills, big pb !! How did that happen?
that's my watch time.
There was never going to be a PB here, too hilly - but the weather! Oh my. The wind, the rain, the puddles, the mud. I now feel like buying trail shoes for the next wet one...
Hardest race I've done in the worst conditions - yet I loved it and will be back.
Hilly course, all ways fun. Will try not to sweat beer out at the start line this year!
Very wet and windy to add to the fun. More like cross country this year!
new race so unsure about it.
wow wet n windy.could have made it a dulathon .great run tho look forward to next year.
heavy rain, strong winds, flooding, say no more... lovely race
First time doing this - really enjoyed it - great race!
A great hilly (in fact VERY Hilly....just say the word Brute !!!). But very very rainy, but great experience
