Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Billy More treatment=slower times it seems judging by my running this week. Hopefully I'll pick up by next week. I think there's 2 inclines towards the end but nothing too strenuous (he says tempting fate!).Update: Awful run, I just can't seem to race anymore. Good event and my daughter put me to shame in the fun run.

Duke of Drayton Looking forward to this one after the postponement of the Wombourne 10k. I hope to get a PB from this one. YES! Got the PB I wanted at last (sub 50mins) - my watch said 48:51 official time 49:15 both under 50mins so I'm well pleased especially since a matter of hours earlier I was chucking up for England after a very dodgy meal. Well done to all the team Willow members running today and thanks to the other Fetchies.

EarlyRiser Still on for this. If the wind is still blowing will be against us on the last leg home, but that's probably good for me. POST-Race. Oh dear. No PB for this one. It was quite a tough course, but even so I just didn't have it in my legs today. Time is ok, but not what I wanted. R had a great Junior run though!

GrahH Long delay at the start. Official timing 50:20. I made it 49:56. No worries, I'm happy with either of those. Hmmm ..undulating..so thats what it means!

Lieutenant Lucerne Time per my watch. Slightly faster than predicted (and fastest time on this course), but not a PB. A testing course; the undulations between 7 and 9 kms are always a challenge.

Mr BDR After a 72 mile cycle the day before and cycling to the race I wasn't expecting much.
It was a tough course and every hill hurt the legs!
I still managed to get within 15 seconds of my old PB, so I'm looking forward to destroying that in Silverstone next month...

starfleet1985 Lovely course but very hilly. Well organised route. Ideal weather, ?Grey and heavy mist on the ground, a bit cold. Great run but a bit of a struggle with the hills.

TROSaracen PB attempt at 10k - should go close, if not beat PB. Not run a 10k for 9 months. Nice PB by 44 seconds, but reminds me why I have run so few 10k's: painful, painful race. Mile splits were 6:18, 6:32, 6:32, 6:27, 6:43, 6:47 and then the final bit (0.31 by my Garmin) at 6:15 pace. I passed 5k in 20:12. Surprisingly undululating and I seem to remember a hill or two at about 7k which did for me in terms of finishing in around 40:30, which I was well on for up to 7k ish. Pleasantly cool and still, well organised.
