Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I much prefer the xc season to be honest, races are tougher and more interesting than plodding around roads.

oi you
Last race in the Kent League today, on a new course at Foots Cray Meadows.
I finished 115th of 116 - still not last :-) - in 52:54, average pace 9:17m/m which at least felt like I was actually running.
I finished 4th in the M60 rankings. The results list a total of 23 M60s taking part over the 4 races, so I'm happy with that.

Well done oi you, I finished 95th on the day, 52nd over the season and 31st M40 (my last in this age group). The course was quite tough, heavy and slow in places, firm and fast in others.

Well done to you too, Alun. Glad to know you had a decent run after missing the Southern's.

Nice morning out at Royston in the XC League. My best race of XC season. Unseasonably mild though.

First club training session of the season :) We had a really good turnout and a nice range of runners - we are working hard to encourage all abilities to at least try the training :)

^ Good work, if they try the training they'll more likely go racing!

MACCL kicks off next weekend, 2 of the 5 fixtures are within 15min jog from home.
