I'm (kind of) happy to report the mud wasn't frozen at TVXC: Bracknell. I really enjoyed the course as it was really varied - some mud, some hills, some trails, really nice. The rain wasn't too bad either and the lemon and poppy seed cake after was scrummy.

I did that course last year and it was good fun. We (Windle) smashed out previous attendance best as well, 57 runners
I was not one of them. Life a bit too hectic right now, so another promising XC season (well promising in terms of races run anyway) has faded away.

next one for me is the Birmingham xc league, 8th Feb in Wolverhampton. A course I have run before, gentle undulations

Anyone do the Midlands Champs at Nottingham today? Love the course, bone dry in some parts a bit soft in others and the added novelty of a log to hurdle over at the back of the lap! After that it got very boggy indeed. Had a decent run I think

Senior men win for Ally2 at Midlands today against one of the strongest regional fields I can remember.
Good boy.

Ally was very impressive and looked the winner from the first lap. Notts AC took 6 of the first 10 places in the men's race and were very strong in depth too. Great day for running and spectating.

They've been on Power of Ten and the SEAA website since at least 0730 this morning.
