I was tracking you all the way Miser and it looked like you were always really consistently pacing to something in the 2:48 -> 2:50 range. To me that looks a very strong result given the issues you’ve had in training in recent weeks. After a little hiatus from the longer stuff, it looks to me like you’re strongly back at it and I’m sure you’ll go even faster next time out. Well done!

Interestingly, for me at least, you finished 1 place and a few seconds ahead of a very good friend of mine who must have been on your heels for most of the race. (Ross, yellow Finch vest). That comes the day after SPR ran in the same 3k race as someone else I know (very young lady in a WSEH vest, the daughter of one of my training partners - she had a stinker so was well behind you tbh).

nice one Brunski!! I’ve heard stronger moans about the weather, particularly the headwind towards the end and so you obviously handled it all super well. Congrats on the PB.

Windsor Wool that's interesting. I know exactly who you are talking about. She was in tears at the end of the race. Told her bad races happen and it's early season. She was pretty distraught but hopefully she remembers that once the feelings about the race clear.

The seeding didn't help as the race was paced/ wavelight-ed at 75/77 and the race before was at 78/80 would have been better for her (and me)! That wasn't her fault either as I had put down 9:59 for seeding so assuming she put her PB down she couldn't avoid that race without putting down a slower time. My teammate that ran 9:39 was kicking himself for going too fast as they were actually ahead of 75 pace initially and pretty much the pack minus me went with it to start with.

Loitering. It's all Bowman 🇸🇪's fault.

Brunski Amazing result in the weather! I see you didn't slow quite as much as me in that into that nightmare headwind after 20 miles :) Well done!
