Great job getting out there! Iβm still affected by covid, so Iβm taking it slow and easy. But getting out there every day, just for a mile or so. Getting boring, looking forward to having a longer tempo run soon.

Great running everyone, good to see Riggys & Bowman able to get some miles in.
A slow 11 miles for me this morning as I tried to keep my footing on some icy paths.

First parkrun done this year so I now have a target set that I need to aim for.

Icy paths here too. After a couple of days + everything has frozen solid again. Glad of my spikes again. 13 km trails covered.

On parade at 8.30pm. At the docks, turned to follow the beach alongside an incoming tide. A short trail loop on part of Crosby parkrun's route, then beach past the baths, and some prom and trail. one hour.

In the dark before tea and work Back exercises to warm up
Run to the amphitheater on the woodlands and then 3 x 4 minutes at 5k effort on the gravely path with 2 mins recovery between. First one felt hard especially breathing. Second one nice relaxed not trying to run fast but quicker than first. Last one like second but did slow towards end. Run home more back exercises and a bit of core, press up and calf raises.
Well run all that got out today

Jono.
wow you lot have been busy! well done and nice to see, glad your feeling a bit better Bowmanv- well done Rigsy, good effort.
Went out with the intention of running 10k, reached 3 miles and suffered a groin strain / muscle pull.
A tenuous start to 2022 - but on the upside I'm only 4 miles down on target .
I'm always very conscious of not buggering myself up altogether as sometimes I have a fair distance to walk in work.
Anyway I'll return to getting some walks in this week as I shift working - it at it Fetchlings, you know it makes you a better person
