Shorts and t-shirt π± Well its long way until that for me Not that its that cold where im at, im just always freezing:) No snow again here, but proper stormy weather today, but sunny!
Will probably go for a slow short run today as well, no point over doing it. I was Covid i have had for the last week, so i managed to stay away from it for two years, but now my luck ran out
Take care out there!

Hope everyone is doing good. Sorry you got the bloody virus Bowman.
Iβm really struggling with motivation at the moment and struggling to get out for a run. Hopefully this will start to improve soon. Iβm trying not to stress about it

Sorry to hear that LG lack of motivation can sometimes be harder to overcome than a injury. Hope you get your mojo back soon. Definitely not shorts and T-shirt weather this morning a layer of ice and frost on the car

Excellent run (yesterday rather than today) that I wanted to share. Brutally cold so I added a gilet to the shorts and T-shirt.
Session was 6x600 hardish with 45secs rest followed by a km aiming between 4:09-4:40. Averaged 4:18/km pace for the 600m and then 4:17 for the km. Really happy with the consistency there and that is one tough session. Paces are possibly a bit slower than I would like but have been regularly guilty of pushing beyond my limits in the past and killing myself.
Really feel like I have hit the ground running in 2022 [pun intended] and the motivation is currently there to really train properly and consistently to a plan rather than the ad-hoc planning I have used in the past

Weather has been gret on the South Coast, did a long run that took me along Littlehampton promenade and back along the river Arun. Lots of people out enjoying the weather. It was an almost 18 mile run (I think thats my 2nd furtherest in the last few years), and was hard work, but I'm pleased I did it. Need to do a 20 mile run next week which is a bit daunting

Last night, Waterloo & Crosby beach & trails. Cool, calm, useful moonlight. Still boggy near the lakes. Just on 71 min., longest -in time terms - for a month.

Great running everyone
No run day for me but instead did a dumbbell workout for runners. Back exercises to warm up first. After dumbbell workout did press up calf raises and alphabet leg stands. Nice workout.
