Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Bllomin' lovely, thank you! Saturday's Parkrun was my first running since spraining my ankle. This morning, emboldened, I did 4 miles. Slow, cautious and not too long is the thing at the moment - but at least it's running :) :)

Found a nice new route through some fields but it felt slow and heavy today. And hot.

planned a nice gentle 6 miler. Although heavy legs from the weekend turned it into a battle after 3 1/2 miles. Glad I ground it out though.

3x10 min fast with 3 min recoveries. Went really well! Suprised myself by keeping my pace up.

Surprisingly hot 12 miles lsr. Pretty good. 2 dog run ins though. The first one gave me quite a fright. Still not sure what it did but it snuck up behind me and i think it licked my leg! Or just headbutted me-it was very slobbery

I haven't run today yet, but near where I'll be running with my novices group later I saw a very fit man running along the main road. He was a bit of a poser, I thought, because he only had shorts on so he could show off his lean muscley torso gleaming in sweat. The only problem I had was that he had more than a tinge of orange about him as in a spray tan - not really necessary this summer I think. ;-) :-)

A nice 6 miler early enough to see the dawn over the fields. I love the peace of the early morning.
